Our dog 's food and treats are cheaper here than the other mega pet store in town. Also they started a daily military discount.

Waggin Tails

Waggin Tails

We have been bringing our 3 dogs to Waggin' tails (now known as Magnolia Pet or paw I don't know…read morefor sure) Afor 5 years now for boarding. My oldest dog has severe separation anxiety and if cornered can snap, which often leaves me weary about leaving him with strangers. The older male who often works the counter and boarding was so gentle and a genuinely great man. He loved my oldest dog and left him out of the kennel area to walk around freely, which made me happy. It didn't take long after the first visit for my oldest pup to run towards the door and veg in excitement to be let in so he could see his friend while I vacationed. I price checked between Sierra pet hotel and Waggin Tails and Waggin Tails was significantly cheaper, also offering military and first responder discounts. I have never had my dogs groomed here since they are short haired. My dogs have not been boarded at the facility since the name changed, but as long as the older gentleman is still working there we will return!

When my wife picked him up they had shaven him from nearly head to tail down to 1/2"! In the places where they did not shave him his fur was patchy and completely uneven. They did a completely horrible job and I will never trust them again to groom my dog. The reason for the horrible cut according to them was because they "messed up" and that their normal equipment was broken. When I called back later that afternoon to complain a gentleman simply told me that if we were not satisfied just "don't ever bring him back here again" No apologizes, no talk of a refund, just rude and unprofessional. My advice, take your pet somewhere else.

All Pets Animal Hospital

All Pets Animal Hospital

Dr. Patrick Reagan of All Pets Animal Hospital in Clovis, New Mexico, is a Miracle Worker!…read more A couple of weeks ago I got up one morning and couldn't figure out why our 8-year-old Cattle Dog, Lady, didn't jump up and beg to be let out like she normally does. I investigated and discovered that she was unable to move her back legs. Terrible, sad, scary... all sorts of fears of what the problem could be ran through my mind. My husband and I carried her out to the truck - she weighs over 70 pounds. We got her to the vet's and after Dr. Reagan examined her, he said that she had lost 100% of her back legs - meaning there were no reflexes and no deep pain response - plus she had lost 10% of the reflexes in her front legs. She also had lost control of her bowels and bladder. All of her blood tests and x-rays were normal, with the exception that he found signs of stress, which would be a normal response in an intelligent active dog who didn't know why she could not feel or use the back half of her body. But young Dr. Reagan had a "hunch." He wanted to give her a steroid injection and keep her overnight so he could observe how her body responded. We didn't want to leave her, she's a rescue with abandonment issues, but he persuaded us that it was the best thing for Lady. I couldn't sleep that night, I kept praying and reliving our last walk together, which we had done the evening before she woke up paralyzed. Lady and I typically walk at least a mile every day, weather permitting. During our last walk there had been no sign of lameness. I cried, thinking that might have been our very last walk. By 6 a.m. the next morning, Dr. Reagan found her standing and wagging her tail. Over the next several days, Lady's mobility and reflexes slowly returned. Today, our girl is running and playing like a puppy again! We love our fur-baby so much. We are very grateful to have her still with us and still functioning. Every day I pray that she will be with us, healthy and happy, for a long time to come. But we never know, do we, when it is our "last walk." I try to make every day and every walk special, for that reason. I told Dr. Reagan that I wish we could adopt him! Merry Christmas to everyone ~ and a Happy New Year! Lynda

I want to start by acknowledging something positive. The staff at All Pets Animal Hospital were…read moregenuinely kind and friendly toward my dog during the appointment. It is obvious that the people working there care about animals, and I appreciated the way they handled her once we were finally seen. However, the experience leading up to the appointment was frustrating and frankly unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and then sat in the waiting room for roughly 40 minutes before being called in. During that entire time, no one acknowledged the delay. There was no update, no explanation, and no simple "sorry for the wait" from the front desk. When I was eventually called back, the vet tech also made no mention of the delay. The whole interaction carried on as if everything were perfectly on schedule. What makes this especially frustrating is that earlier the same day I received a text message from the clinic reminding me that if I were late or missed my appointment I would be charged a $50 fee. That kind of policy suggests the clinic values punctuality and accountability from its clients. Unfortunately, that same standard clearly does not appear to apply in the other direction. When the clinic runs 40 minutes late, the expectation seems to be that the customer simply sits quietly and absorbs the delay. Delays happen in veterinary medicine and most reasonable people understand that. Emergencies come up. Appointments run long. That is not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of communication or basic courtesy about it. A quick acknowledgment, an apology, or even a simple update would have gone a long way toward showing respect for the time of the people sitting in the waiting room. Compounding the problem was the attitude from the doctor, which made it clear that this level of delay was treated as normal and not worth acknowledging. If that is how the clinic chooses to operate, that is their decision. But it is not a standard of professionalism I am willing to accept. I let them know before leaving that I will be taking my business elsewhere and will not be returning to All Pets Animal Hospital. The staff were kind to my dog, and I appreciate that, but respect for a client's time and basic accountability matter as well.

This afternoon we experienced our first puppy training class for our brand new Dachshund puppy. The trainer, Sarah, worked with us individually and learned about our household, the challenges we are currently facing with our puppy, and then showed us some amazing techniques that matched what we have been reading about and watching on YouTube. By the end of the puppy training, we had our new little guy sitting, laying down, and doing much better on a harness and leash. She made some great product and behavior recommendations for us, and pointed us in the right direction of some amazing products that are going to make our life easier and the puppies life more happy. Kudos to the store, and Sarah! We are looking forward to going back and leveraging her expertise in a six week course of puppy training classes. This place is like the Apple Store for little pets!

Looking around I noticed a horrific sight, there was an ungodly amount of mold growing in both food dishes of the hermit crab terrariums. not just a little mold, but it looked as it if it had been growing for weeks. there were pieces of dead crabs all over the tank. The sight of it made me sick. No animal no matter how small should never have to experience such awful mistreatment and suffer to death the way they have. The manager said they would clean it up, but I have little faith that they will implement the close care that any of their animals deserve. I will never shop or purchase anything at this petsmart, the sight i saw was truly animal abuse, and as an animal lover and collector, and former pet store employee, I was truly disappointed in how the situation was handled. I filed a complaint with corporate and am waiting to hear back from the district manager.
