Good reliable pet store almost always has what we need. The fish selection could be better, but at least the tanks are clean.

It's a normal pet store. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. High priced, but has discounts at times.

Poor service, uniformed staff. Not helpful at all. It's a shame because they're the only game in town.

    Copper Canyon Doodles

    Copper Canyon Doodles

    (1 review)

Back in 2022, me and my then-fiancé decided on getting a puppy. There are a lot of breeders out…read morethere, but we eventually settled on Copper Canyon Doodles. We were a fan of the large variety of mini goldendoodle options they had available (both F1 & F1B) due to their network of families that they work with, as well as their excellent testimonials. Including famous endorsements from Oprah and Ken Jeong, both of whom have a doodle from Copper Canyon. Although the waitlist for us was definitely long due to a backlog of pandemic-era people wanting to get pets, our turn eventually came up over a year later. Due to either poor timing related to various life circumstances, or the litters options not meeting our criteria, we wound up passing on quite a few litters until just now in the tail-end of 2024, we finally found the one. Throughout this entire process, Paul and Emily have been great in responding to our emails and calls to address any questions we would have about certain litters, any uncertainties or issues that came up, as well as keeping us up to date on expected upcoming new litters so we could plan ahead. Only minor complaint however was just that we had to pass on several litters that we were interested in, but only had a week's notice to commit, prep for the arrival of a puppy, and make arrangements to fly out to Vegas to pickup said puppy. More advance notice would certainly be appreciated, and we were thankful we got that with our new furbaby Mango. Cost for a puppy from Copper Canyon is $3k, with $1K as a non-refundable deposit, and $2K paid just prior or during pickup of your puppy. They will allow you to keep your place in line and skip litters as long as you need (as we ultimately did for 1.5yrs). Puppies come with a 3yr health guarantee, but be aware that you are required to buy their suggested specialty pet food brand and supplements in order to keep the guarantee valid. Pickup for puppies is offered at the Vegas airport. Or if you're not able to make it on that date, optional pickup at their place in Utah is available for a fee. Mango has been quite a bundle of joy. Displaying a ton of affection for everyone, and came fully crate trained, desensitized to noise, and comfortable with touching of her more particular areas (nose, mouth, paws and ears). Although training a puppy is never easy and takes a boat-load of patience, having the aforementioned factors resolved before even joining us has been a HUGE boon. Thank you Copper Canyon for such an adorable and lovable fur-ever baby to join our family!

Brandon was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind as he worked with my Goldendoodle Max. I was amazed at how well Max behaved after the first day! Max has continued to improve with listening to commands even with distractions (people, dogs, cars). Before this program I was stressed to take Max, or the bucking bronco, outside the home. It was embarrassing as he wouldn't listen to me, pulled on his leash, barked, jumped on visitors and was too friendly/excited around other dogs. I had worked with him since he was a puppy...he knew his basic commands...he just wouldn't listen. It was really frustrating! I love our Max but we needed help! Max is now a superstar Doodle! I take him everywhere without any stress or anxiety! Brandon has equipped me with knowledge, confidence, and tools to help Max be the best dog! The coolest part is Max is happier and more confident as with me, he is equipped with awesome skills and understands what I am communicating to him. His focus is on me and not the squirrels/distractions. Thanks Brandon!!!! If you are dealing with a bucking bronco fur baby, don't wait. Do it, make the call!!!! I wish I would have signed up months ago...Oh well...life is superb with my Doodle Max.

My two year old lab, Brody, is a sweetheart but if he wanted something, he was determined to do…read moreanything to get it. He would eat everything in sight (especially socks!) Brody loves people and other dogs, so he would get so excited when they were around that it was hard to control him. I always assumed his behavior was because he was young but I knew something had to change when he got kicked out of doggy daycare for taking an employees gardening glove and swallowing it. That's when I found Sit Means Sit. It was very easy to get information on the website. I just typed in my name and phone number and a little summary about Brody and Brandon, the trainer, called me the next day. We spoke about all the different packages they offered, prices, and what the training includes. He helped us pick the training program that would help Brody the most so we signed right up. I scheduled our first training session pretty quickly (I think I was able to get in about a week after signing up). Brandon is the nicest, most knowledgeable dog trainer I've ever met. Brody was always so excited to see him! We started our first lesson and not even 20 minutes in, my crazy 90 pound lab was no longer pulling on the leash. The next session, we took him to more public places, like Home Depot and Petco. This is where I was most amazed. Brandon taught Brody to sit in one of the aisles alone and wait for us to call him to move. We walked away from him, many people/pets passed right by Brody, and Brody did exactly what he was supposed too. It was such a big difference from the wild Brody that would have pulled me all over the store, jumping on people and trying to wrestle with all the other dogs there. What's especially nice about the training sessions is the involvement you will have in the training too. Brandon shows you exactly what you need to do/practice with to keep up the new skills. We met a total of three times for training and Brody has been a great dog since. Another awesome thing about training is that depending on the package you get, you and your dog can do free group lessons! Brody is also so good off his leash. I used to worry about taking Brody to open parks to play ball off the leash but now that's our favorite thing to do together! If your dog needs training, Brandon (and anyone else) at Sit Means Sit is perfect for it! I can't wait for group lessons to start! Thanks again Brandon and the Sit Means Sit team!

The lessons he provided right off the bat were appreciated and implemented. Seeing how well she responded we wanted to immediately start her in his 3 week course as AKKs are known for darting and not listening. However, Dave said "Let your puppy be a puppy and contact us in a couple more months." I really appreciate him saying that. We continued training her at home while enjoying her puppy bonding time and 2 1/2 months later dropped her off. Three weeks without her was hard but we did it! When we picked her up we found the same happy pup but with added obedience. She even retained the training we taught her at home (we have a dog door bell system to signal outside for potty). Her auto-sit while walking and sit+stay / down+stay on leash are quite impressive and you can tell how proud she is when performing these commands as well as sitting at the door waiting to be invited in/out. In the back yard she's perfect with 'heel' but in the real world she's still a bit excited. That's expected with her breed and we will continue to train daily with the skills Dave taught us. Loyal K-9 is highly recommended for obedience training. While it was hard not to have her for three weeks it really has paid off. Thanks Dave and Cathy!
