We would not bring a Roach to this VET!…read more If you love your pet as a family member do NOT go here!!!!!! They are money driven and do NOT care about your pet only the bottom line $$$$$$!!! Our furbaby Dixie had been here before she just had gotten fixed two weeks prior to me calling! Dixie was throwing up and had severe vomiting!!! My dogs ate rat poison (I did not Know we live in the country) but when we called for a appointment we were told (this was tues 9/27/22) they were booked up till next Monday (seriously booked up all week) or we could pay a extra emergency fee ( $$$ money driven) if we wanted to have our sick babies seen within a 4 work day period!!!! One of the Vet's called me (I insisted to speak to a vet) and she was nice but said they SHOULD have offered for us to come in and wait till all patients were seen that day but it was to late we were in route to a Caring Vet Dr. Carson where we were immediately seen and treated with the best care around! We would not bring a Roach to this VET! Thank God for Carson Vet Hospital saving my furbabies when this vet was going to leave them to die!!!

My kitty once developed a goopy pink discharge in her eye due to being bapped by my other cat. I called and they fit me in that night at 830pm. The veterinarian was very gentle with my baby and did a very thorough checkup. Turns out my kitty was quickly forming an ulcer which we caught very early. We were able to heal it within a week! Turns out the place is open 24/7 so they're the best for emergencies. I also highly recommend this vet for their dental work. My kitty had to have a few teeth extracted and the vet took before, during, and after pictures that were texted to me for reassurance. They did an amazing job on the stitching and she had no post surgical issues. Overall this is hands down the best vet in Lafayette.

Do Not bring dogs with a traumatic past here. I brought my girl here and we adopted her about 5-6…read moreyears ago from a shelter who saved her from an abusive environment. I communicated to the techs that she is very skittish and has came from an abusive home. They either disregarded this remark or didn't have the necessary experience to understand the situation and handled her just as any dog. Due to this she did react negatively and bit a tech. They then came back and told me I was lucky that it didn't cause any bleeding otherwise they would've quarantined her at the pound. I am not sure how more clear I could be saying this dog came from an abused home and is skittish. She has never bitten anyone as long as I've had her but how my communication was disregarded and how she was handled escalated the situation unnecessarily which almost resulted the to quarantining my dog.

I found Groomingdales using Yelp and it's two miles from my house. I was greeted by friendly staff who seemed to really care About me and my dog's health issues. The front of the shop is small but cute with toys and things for dogs and t- shirts for the dog lovers. I received a text when Stella was ready to be picked up less than three hours later. And she looked great. Her groomer did a great job and the price was close To what I was paying at Petco. I will be back. Thank you!

The dog looks funny and everyone, even other salons comment on it. It will take 6 months to grow it out. Instead of trimming the ears to shorten them, she cut off chunks near the face, high up. The fur doesnt even hang down and cover his ears anymore. It will be winter and he will be colder with no fur protecting his ears. I'm mad. I don't think she cares at all. Karma comes back...maybe one day her dog will get a bad hair cut and she will have to wait over 6 months for it to grow back out.

While visiting Lafayette from Florida, one of our dogs began having diarrhea and GI issues and the other developed symptoms Sunday night. Broussard Veterinary Clinic was able to set an appointment to see a vet at 8am Monday morning, when other clinics we called would have had us waiting until late afternoon or evening. Dr. Hise's care set a standard impressive enough that we are reevaluating our current veterinary care at home.

I recommend this vet for all parrot and bird owners. A vet that knows birds vs. a vet that is only guessing could be the difference between life and death for a pet as delicate as a bird. Myself and a co-worker who both own parrots have brought our birds here and have been very pleased with the knowledge of the staff, especially Dr. Marullo. I took off one star on the review only because the front desk staff can sometimes be a bit short with you and rude especially on the phone, but the Dr. is super great.

We have even fostered dogs who have been sent to northern states where they don't have this problem. People who let their animals go free and breed at will need to understand that their unwanted litters will most likely end up in a shelter or dead on the road. Not all shelter animals are lucky enough though . The shelters have to feed them and after so long if they are not housed by someone they can be euthanized.
