I hope by this point you realise that I am talking about a cat. Anyway, my baby Tom was a Molesey boy until he went of to join the great cat heaven in the sky. Nowadays, Molesey pet store rarely sell cats, but occasionally you can find some kittens here. A few weeks ago there were some gorgeous Burmese cats here, but they didn't stay long. They treat what ever animals they have here really well. There are no dogs sold here, which is a good thing - I don't like the idea of pet stores selling dogs anymore. But they do sell plenty of doggy treats for all you pet lovers out there. This is where I pick up my dogs chocolate buttons, which are so much cheaper here then they are in Tesco's. They sell a few different types of birds here, like love birds and parrots. Plenty of fish too, and some bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters. I melt when I see anything furry or fluffy, so I try not to come in here to much, as I would probably leave with something squeaky.

Sadly, Chris is not for sale. . . He is the owners pet, but he is adorable! My favourite animals are the degus. They are wonderfuly active, and are so cute and fluffy! I would just love one! Right now they are doing a deal where when you buy a cage - hamster cage. You get a free hamster with it. I realise that the hamsters are only £10, but this really helps when it is only three days from Christmas! Anyhoo, I recommend this pet shop to anyone reading this because it is truly delightful, and they will get you a great bargain!

They raised the price in 1 month by 20% without telling me when I gave them my card details on a repeat order (from £57 to £70!) on my brand of dogfood and gave the only reason for doing this is the RRP on the Origen website had increased. (They did not, however, state that the unit cost price had increased so I would speculate that it hasn't!). I was refused a refund on the unopened bag (the difference from the original price paid) and refused a full refund. I can & will source the same food from my local Pet Store at the original price and they will deliver to my door. Dunk

It was here I purchased a small tank and four shabunkems or goldfish ,not the ones you win in a fairground, I am not that good a shot, or throwing rings! Anyway they seem happy still, especially after finding a special filter. Maintenance is the key ,you must change the water about every other month,that means they have to be netted out ,water replaced after cleaning the inside of algae,and then placing them back in their enviroment. Of course do not over feed them! One small finger and thumb serving is ok. They are very soothing watching them swim around.

They have treats and chews for the four legged furry ones and good conditioners for the coats of your animals. They have some gorgeous rabbits in here and i'm in the process of trying to persuade my flatmates to allow me to have one!! The staff are friendly and helpful and they also offer a pet sitting service where they'll take care of your pet while you're on holiday or working away.

The person sounded really friendly and it seemed to be going well, I thought I would get an interview at least. Was told that she will talk it over with another colleague and would be emailed. Was emailed a generic message (we had a large number of applicants for this position...) the second half stated that I couldn't work Mondays and ideally the needed someone Fri-Mon. Funny as this information was not in the job advert and this was not mentioned on the phone, in fact it sounded as if it was flexible shift based work. I said I have a session on Monday morning and that I can still work that day just after. I was quite upset and reiterated that in fact I can work Monday, to which I was told they would let me know of any changes. I personally find this quite unprofessional, as I said this information was withheld and I was not even asked...we need someone on Monday will that be an issue? Very disappointing!

They have a variety of livestock in the shop, either for sale (guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, hamsters, birds, fish etc.) or to "help" customers (a beautiful cat and several lovely dogs). The livestock are always healthy and live in clean environments. Its is always a pleasure to shop here and i would not buy a pet from anywhere else!
