The day after we brought our kitten home I noticed a small patch of fur missing from our kittens right leg. The patch kept growing so we brought him to the emergency vet as it after hours. She had said it was either ringworm or a bacteria infection. The contract that Neli makes you sign says you have 3 days to have the kitten checked by a vet, yet a ringworm test takes 2 weeks yet Neli was unreachable for a week after we got the kitten. The contract also states that her kittens are parasite free yet she does not give them a deworming pill. The problem that I have with Neli is how she handled this situation so far. She flew out of the country and had us contact her friend who was handling the kittens care and he has little knowledge of where the cats shot was given a day before we picked him up. When we asked her friend if Neli dewormed the cat, he said she gave them a liquid in a bottle (later we found out it was homeopath, which is not an affective prevention of ringworm). We're still waiting from a response from Neli about this and I'm guessing we'll be waiting a long time. Either way, our vet says the infection or ringworm occurred before the kitten was in our care since the hair that was coming out of his leg was already dead. I just hope that she stops breeding kittens if she can't properly take care of them!

Pearl Marie has been an incredible blessing to our family. She brings such beauty, gentleness, and warmth to our home. I even had her blessed by a Catholic priest in the Traditional Latin Rite because she is such a cherished member of our family. My only disappointment involved the breeding rights fee. I paid an additional $900 for the option to breed her, but ultimately decided to have her spayed at one year of age instead. Because of the contract, Johnny was unable to provide any refund. While I understand that he honored the agreement, I do wish the policy had allowed for at least a partial reimbursement when breeding rights ultimately go unused. As someone with a limited income during the summer months, even a partial refund would have made a meaningful difference. In fact, I had been planning to purchase a second Ragdoll from Johnny, but I ultimately decided not to because of this policy. Had the breeding rights fee been handled differently, I likely would have returned for another kitten. Aside from that concern, my experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I would gladly update this review to reflect an even stronger recommendation if the breeding rights policy were ever reconsidered.

At the time of purchase, no contract was shown, no agreement box was provided, and nothing was presented for me to acknowledge or sign. I also did not receive a veterinary health certificate or proof that a licensed veterinarian examined the kitten before I bought him. All vaccinations and deworming were done by the breeder herself, not a licensed vet. Within 24 hours of bringing my kitten home, he became sick and required urgent veterinary care. He was diagnosed with a parasitic condition--something that does not develop overnight. In my experience, this indicates the issue was preexisting before I purchased him. To be clear: I was not asking for my money back for the kitten, nor did I want a replacement. I only requested reimbursement for the medical bills I incurred due to a condition that existed before the sale. When I informed the breeder, she denied responsibility despite providing no contract, no upfront health documentation, and despite her own policy stating that kittens are sold healthy "to the best of her knowledge." She later sent me a "health certificate," and I initially believed it was a full medical update from a veterinarian who had examined my kitten. Instead, it was a blank certificate with only the vaccinations she performed herself -- not a record from any licensed veterinary professional. She offered only partial reimbursement, even though the condition clearly existed prior to purchase. Based on my experience, I do not feel this breeder operates transparently or professionally. Due to the lack of proper veterinary documentation at the time of sale, the misleading "health certificate," and the refusal to take responsibility, I am pursuing legal action. I'm sharing my experience so future buyers can make informed decisions and hopefully avoid the stress, financial loss, and emotional hardship I went through.
