The cost of the insurance is actually fully made up because it includes all his shots and two annual exams plus dental cleaning. Today Luciano needs an update on his Bordetella vaccine. This is very important because he needs it if I have to board him in a Dog Baording facility in an emergency or if I want to travel. The shot needs to be administered at least two weeks before boarding so this is important to make sure he is always up-to-date. The hours are super convenient and the staff is wonderful.

We knew we wanted her to socialize, and figured a dog can help her emotional state as she's been crying everyday for friends. We didn't know how to get a dog and couldn't afford to spend a lot. Enter Animal Rescue League of El Paso and Loretta. We applied to foster and adopt but the only one working and responding at this time as COVID has closed most facilities but the need is still there. I submitted my application online at their site and Loretta called and spent about 30 minutes asking me questions about what type of dog was best for our situation and family. She set up a time for us to come and I asked about 2 on petfinder but the little breeds went quickly. We went with just the notion of checking out the dogs available, and we never felt rushed or pushed. They are secure and took out temperature as we arrived. You need to ring in each time and their facility is clean and organized. All the dogs looked healthy and I saw someone cleaning out feces in the cages and each cage was clearly labeled. My kids fell in love with Shelby (temporary name) and we spent close to an hour bonding and asking questions. Everyone was kind and patient with us. The process was easy to adopt and they made sure we knew what the expectations were of owning and what we were responsible for. I would highly recommend this facility if you're looking to adopt and save a life. We felt that not only do they care about their animals, they care about potential owners as well and want the best for both of us.

The owner insisted a voicemail had been left (it wasn't), and the dismissive, unapologetic tone made an already heartbreaking situation feel incredibly cruel. Denying an adoption is understandable, but allowing someone to travel hours before communicating concerns shows a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. I hope this rescue improves its honesty, communication, and respect toward potential adopters.

We have been a part of the TNR program for just over a year and we find it very content in doing what we can for the organization. I was in the area and decided to stop by P.B. to check it out. My original destination was to be PetSmart, but chose P.B. since it was right there at the intersection of Sunland Park. I walked in and it seemed nice. They had exactly what I was looking for, to include a round scratcher with a ball for the Cats to play with. They even had replacement circles for it. I was happy to find them as quickly as I did, but I have to say it was the staff that helped me out since I did not know the store. The Cat section was actually pretty small in comparison to other stores I have been to over the past year. They did, however, have an Aquarium section. Now this is where the 2 Stars come from. The Live Freshwater section was not designed well, there was not a large selection of anything for actual products, and there were no Tanks available to purchase other than a couple off to the side on stands. I have been an Aquarist for over 40 years and as a hardcore expert, I was sad to see the lack of professionalism and design of this area. It's as if the store did not want to sell anything. Most of the products available had dust indicating they had been there for quite some time. I did manage to talk to the Staff member that took care of the area and after having a long discussion, she felt that management did not actually care about the Aquarium section as if they wanted the section to not exist. I felt sad for her because she had solid knowledge and ambition to make her area perfect, and profitable but was unable to do anything. I hope Pet's Barn takes an honest interest and renovates the entire section to offer great products and Live fish. The only other option is to remove it completely because at this current time, it looks like Skid Row.

The groomers were kind, patient, and clearly attentive to my pets' comfort, which made all the difference. You could really feel that they took pride in their work and cared deeply about the animals.
