I do not usually choose to buy cat food for our animals here as they do not stock the brands that i like. However when I call in to buy other supplies such as toys or bowls I have always found the service to be very friendly, the staff always comment on the weather or start a conversation with customers. There is quite a large fish department which has a range of fish, aquarium accessories, and fish food.

They also stock housing for a wide variety of animals in addition to electric fencing and stock fencing. They have a range of incubation kits for eggs as well as all the equipment you need from hatching to adulthood. A fish section is also slowly developing. The equestrian section is extremely comprehensive offering everyhing the modern horse owner and rider could wish for and plenty more. Of particular note is their pink range which includes sparkly riding crops with stars and matching grooming kits. Their range of own brand clothing is extremely durable and very well priced.

I rarely used to go there although since Erksine Aquatics closed down it's become the only shop selling tropical fish in town so I now call in from time to time. The best thing about this shop is that (unlike Pets At Home in Llandudno) there's no problem finding someone to serve you and the people working there are very knowledgeable. The downside is that because the shop is so small there's only a limited choice. Worth a look though.

This is also the biggest pet shop in County Road and one which has a decent variety of well looked after pets, accessories and food. The staff are always friendly and willing to help although at times you need to be patient before you get seen to, as it does get busy on occasions. If you are a lover of pets, this is a great place to come for a browse and be able to obtain tips and advice from knowledgeable staff. Personally, I have been to places that sell a wider variety of fish but if you're after reptiles or spiders for instance, then this is your Aladdin's cave!
