I was really impressed with this travel center. Dunkin doughnuts and Iron Skillet restaurants were located inside. They had everything a typical gas station would have and more! Lots of souvenirs and trinkets. Massage chairs, ATMs and a Verizon store were all inside too. The bathrooms were clean and everyone working was really nice. Quick stop for gas, bathroom breaks, & snacks while on the road. Everything you could need outside of visiting a Buc-ee's. There are souvenirs to buy, places too eat, & even a Verizon store for your cell phone needs & questions. Busy but inviting atmosphere in this travel center. read more

Parking lot is a mess. A lot of the showers are meh. I always buy reserved parking. EVERY TIME some lardass janitor comes out and asks me to move. I say no and continue to load my wash bag. He then brings a lady cashier out and asks me to move. I ask her why should I when I bought a spot (this usually is done SEVERAL times). She finally stop having selective hearing and goes "oh you bought reserved parking." I stated that I told Lardass that. Lardass says I didn't tell him that. FU people. F your lies. There is always a couple (hispanic guy and some lady with glasse) who ride up in a empty blue car hauler complaining that I parked in a reserve spot. They state its handicap parking when it clearly isn't. The handicap parking is up the way and they are just stealing paid parking. They've done this a few times. read more

Do not waste your time. Half of the gas pumps do not work. We tried two different ones, but they were inoperable. I witnessed many other drivers share our experience and frustration. I've never witnessed a gas station in such disrepair. read more

On our way to and from Las Vegas from Phoenix Arizona, we usually stop at Love's about 7 miles north. The traffic in and out of Loves is always highly congested so we decided to try Petro travel center. What a nice surprise. The parking for vehicles is away from the pumps so it makes congestion nonexistent. We ate at the Iron Skillet restaurant and it was fantastic. We had fish and chips and a 10 piece shrimp appetizer and both were delicious. There were three large pieces of fish and they were not over breaded. Fantastic service. This will be our new home to stop. read more

Not sure if every trucker scammer comes here or not but every card machine at the pumps is covered in random security tape and various security labels. I've never seen so many labels verifying the safety of processing your card at the pump. If these truckers and various other visitors keep tampering with your card processing machines then why don't you guys prosecute the criminals for tampering? Pay in cash for fuel I think the card readers at the pumps are compromised too often. Also be careful when you pull in, these brainless drivers will just pull out in front of you in the main road purposely avoiding their stops at their stop signs. Petro also dumps its gray water in a stream behind their facility causing chemical runoff from all the showers wastewater's... not sure how that's legal but since nobody cares it's happening. The stream is located between the back of Petro and E Blake ranch road. You can't miss it but you'll be able to see the damage Petro has caused to the environment around them. read more

My husband and I do OTR and live in Kingman, we stop here often on our home time and there is always plentiful parking, the store is outdated but clean they have a iron skillet (never eat there) a Dunkin (love this Dunkin!) and showers and three bathrooms (2 men 1 women) all in all no complaints from us! read more

A quick stop on my road trip from Phoenix to LV. I believe I've hit every truck stop throughout the years but I will make this my stop from now on. In my opinion a true truck stop always includes an iron skillet- lol. When we arrived the ladies room had an extremely long line, a Petro employee offered to take part of the line to the ladies shower area. This being my first time to see a truck stop shower, I left super impressed as it's Very large & clean! Every employee we encountered was helpful and friendly. read more

This is the perfect 2 hour stopping point from Vegas to Phoenix, Flagstaff, or Sedona. It usually costs less for gas in AZ (than NV) & even cheaper than the nearby locations including gas station laden Beale Street. It was also a relief to be mask free in AZ through the pandemic. There definitely was a mask mandate period of time in AZ though. There are the usual issues plaguing businesses like lack of staff, gas hose leakage/ out of service pumps, lines of cars for gas during peak times, closed bathroom fiascos. When I came here, I could buy AZ lottery tickets with no line, unlike near Primm, the NV/AZ state line. And no, I haven't won anything...yet.... There are 3 bathrooms with about 7 stalls. One of the bathrooms is usually being cleaned & rotated. Once, a man came into the bathroom while I was washing my hands but I quickly exited. The rotated bathroom sign clearly said "Women" but I found that most people don't read. Even though the bathrooms have just been cleaned, they just don't feel or seem spotless ; the industrial tile & utilitarian steel stalls don't lend themselves to feeling germ free. But it is utilitarian. Tour buses to the Grand Canyon stop here as there's also a DD & Cafe/ restaurant in the complex. During the pandemic, I did feel useful coming to shop in Kingman for the fam - no meat shortages like in Vegas with their empty shelves & I always stopped here, at the Petro Pantry Shell for gas. There's a large parking area & space to have a D' picnic. For awhile, I had to practice driving somewhere to get back in action after a heinous car accident - & at that time I could barely drive 1/2 an hour without losing attention or being tired. So I feel grateful for the practice & wide open 2 lane roads with very few cars to distract moi. As of 2022, with gas prices up, it's double to come this way but the beauty, tranquility & magic of Sedona still beckons. read more

When heading to and from Vegas, this is my stopping point for gas, and to take a break. This place gets jammed at the pumps. Just be patient. Take note....after you pump your gas, be kind and pull into the parking lot rather than letting your car sit at the pump. read more

Not the cheapest gasoline station in the area. If we could have waited several more miles, we could have scored less expensive prices further west down interstate 40. Still, the prices are way better than in California!! This Shell station is located with the Petro Travel Center. They have Dunkin Donuts. So when you are finished pumping gas, have a donut! read more

Okay, this isn't going to be easy for me. There's a bit of detail, but I will cut to the chase. First off, if I could get a message through to corporate, I would start there. Secondly, as many times I have given a review to a business, I have never quite understood the attitude of wanting to give zero stars, but if I could, by the power of the almighty, I would give these people a substantial negative number! I found a frayed serpentine belt on my pretrip. Our roadservice booked an appointment for me knowing that I was 3 hours out. Kingman was really the closest place with service and Petro said they had no line at service. Petro did the service by replacing a belt and a belt tensioner. I pulled out the back, parked in their lot, had lunch with the engine off. When I was done, changed my duty status and was about to head out when a noise under the hood convinced me to back back into my spot. Before I could shut the truck off, a calamitous sound gave me a sinking feeling. I opened the hood, my waterpump pully was sitting on the ground and my fan and several components were utterly destroyed. I now had a radiator leak. I hadn't had that engine running much more than five minutes. They refused to do anything about it. I had to have my truck towed 10 mile back to Kingman and put in service at Velocity Truck Center. The damage was EXTENSIVE! I made a video the next morning after taking inventory of the damage and assessed what I could before the truck was put in service. The picture shows the pully is scarred/galled up around two holes. I talked to a mechanic at Velocity who said there was no reason to remove that pulley. I find it VERY HARD TO BELIEVE that pulley was in that condition, bolts removed, all the time I had been driving around, just to coincidently shear at that moment. First time stopping here. We were on our way home from Texas to California. The gas station is big. The inside was a nice restaurant where you can sit and eat. The gas station has plenty of snacks, food options and also car accessories and maintenance products. If we ever come through here, we will certainly stop here if needed. read more

I think this is a very neat travel stop as there's several businesses inside even this is a smaller travel stop. Most of all I like the DD here. The bathrooms were well maintained. A lot going on here so one of the better travel stops I have been on during this specific trip. read more

This was the most expensive gas station either before or after it. When I squeegeed my car windows they were actually dirtier than before I squeegeed them and the squeegee was falling apart. Really I would avoid this stop if it all possible. Better selections off of the highway for places to get gas, or use the restroom, or eat. This is only a stop for desperation. read more

Stopped here for gas and it was one of the worst experiences. First, the credit card reader at the pumps were not working so we went inside to pay. My friend paid with his credit card and then went back out to pump. He put $50 on his card, but the car only took $41 worth of gas so he went back inside to get his change. The clerk did not want to give him his change back because "the computer isn't showing any change". We told her to go look outside at the pump for herself and see how much gas the pump took and she refused stating that she had to go by the computer. We didn't stay to argue we just called it a lost and left. Definitely be aware of faulty pumps and computers, you may just end up loosing some cash at this gas station like we did! read more

Don't stop at this station. There are more options a couple miles west. This station was crazy congested, and then have an entire side of the store blocked off so no parking which makes all the people getting gas leave their car at the pump to go inside and get food. I have never had to wait so long for a pump to open up at any gas station. Management needs some signs telling people to move to the side to park instead of leaving cars at pumps. read more

Our semi truck broke down on the highway. We called Petro and we were told that someone could be there in an hour. Jeffrey Cooke was there within an hour. He is a super nice guy. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained it to us in terms we understand. He had to go back to the shop to get a part and the entire repair took less than an hour. Then he gave us his number to call if something happened and he even followed us for a few miles to make sure all was okay. Best service we have ever had out on the road! Thank you! read more
