The cashier wasn't super kind about it, didn't care to give a courtesy reasoning behind the policy & although I wasn't reading signage as I entered, nothing fully stood out to me screaming "CASH ONLY PAYMENTS INSIDE" SO! If you happen to find yourself in this sticky situation (like the lovely ladies at the pump on the other side of mine) I suggest to use the Exxon Mobil app for your card payment. It worked wonderfully for the ladies! In the middle of the dessert, nobody accepts apple pay and the gas station wouldn't accept a credit card over the phone. Not only did the gas station give me $20 of free gas to get home, but they offered me water and food on them...and then, while trying to figure out my plan, I heard a knock on the car window. A woman I'd never met, reached out with $13 cash...saying that the woman in the station told her what happened and she wanted to make sure I had cash for an emergency. I am floored by their kindness. I was moved to tears by their unquestioning support and generosity. Please help me to make them feel the gratitude and faith that they gave me yesterday. (I was the slightly panicked, curly haired brunette driving a white Mitsubishi Mirage). And if you're ever in Kingman, stop by and support their business.

Kingman is a stopping point for us. One last stop before Vegas, or conversely, the first stop after LEAVING Las Vegas. Clean, quick in and out... Perfect! Open 24 hours (of course), the staff always seems friendly, prices are competitive to other convenience stores, and the drink selection... Wow! Fountain drinks I've never heard of, including the exclusive Mountain Dew Goji Berry flavor! Heck, they even have Pepsi Zero Sugar (formerly Pepsi Max) in the fountain! All with giant 52 ounce cups with big, fat red straws. Everyone will love the clean, roomy restrooms. I sometimes wonder if Maverik has someone hiding in the corner to clean after each person leaves.
