Petro-Canada 1502 8 Street East, Saskatoon location. I've been going to this location for years and years-- mostly for the carwash, but I do get gas there on occasion. I don't do a lot of driving, and I don't have a garage to park in, so my SUV is exposed to the elements. This carwash usually does a great job, but on very rare occasions, it doesn't come out completely clean. When this happens, I go inside and they've always given me a complimentary 2nd wash. Today this happened again. I had just used my last carwash, so I decided to load up my Wash $ Go card again, and let the attendant know that my car hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. No one else was inside the store. She came out and had a look. I pointed to the obvious gunk on the windshield. She mushed it around with her finger and was going to go in and get a towel and windex to clean it off, rather than letting me go through the wash again. I told her there were likely other marks that didn't get cleaned off, and I was right-- the sunroof was still spotted with filth. She told me that she wasn't going to give me another carwash for one spec of dirt on the car. I let her know that I've been doing business there for years and would have topped up my card again, but her treatment made me rethink. I told her I'd never be back. There was an attendant outside also when I left and I told him of the situation. He didn't care and said he'd go in and talk to the attendant inside. I left and immediately called up head office. They were pleasant and said this was not typical of the way the handle things, nor was it indicative of their policy. I was given a free car wash. I will use it, but have decided that the Co-op gas bar is where I spend my dollars on fuel and carwashes in the future. Thank you for making me feel appreciated, Petro-Canada! read more
