When I asked about it the manager got so mad that he accidentally sputtered out "We do BASIC CLEANING. You want it GOOD, go somewhere else!" Here's how we got there: On the day they cleaned my car - well, had the car in their shop - they were to start at 7:30am. I called at 10am to see how it was going. No one answered. I called again at 12:30pm and the receptionist (Erika?) said they were just starting but it looked like there was going to be extra vacuuming, so there'd be an additional charge on top of the package I bought. My total would be just under $400. Fair enough, the carpets were dirty but that's why I was having it detailed. For an upcharge I expect the carpets and seats to look practically new. Spoiler: they did not. In that conversation she said the car would be done at "some time after 4" but they close at 5pm. I wouldn't be able to make it in that narrow timeslot. No problem, she said, we'll keep it in the bay overnight so it's safe and warm and has extra drying time. At about 4:30pm she called to say the job was done and could I come pick it up. No, I reminded her, I'll get it in the morning. Okay, but we have another customer who came in after and he wants his car inside overnight so we have to put yours in the parking lot. Even though they already promised they'd keep mine inside overnight, that promise went out the window as soon as they promised the same thing to one later customer. Despite having three bays. The next day Erika called at 11:30am asking when I was coming to pick up the car, and I told her I'd be there in a little more than an hour. A little before 1pm my Uber arrived at the "Spa" to drop me off. As we drove up I could see the wheels were still filthy. I paid, including the upcharge for "extra vacuuming", and got the keys. I got into the car an immediately noticed the seats, dash, and carpet still had dust and hair on them, and now there were flecks of cardboard all over the place that match the cardboard they put over the floormats. I told Erika, who texted the manager. He was pissed because he was eating his lunch but came to look at the car while grumbling. I pointed out the wheels first. He claimed that usually they use acid to get brake dust off but they could tell by looking that it wouldn't work so they didn't. Why not use iron remover and a brush, like most detail places would? He ignored the question. I opened the door and wordlessly pointed to the dust and flecks of material on the seats and dash. He immediately claimed the cardboard flecks were "paint" on the (dark grey) dash and was pre-existing. You're telling me, I asked as I pushed one of the pieces of cardboard along the dash with my finger, that this is paint? He changed his story to say the detritus was from the vents because they left my car idling for 3 hours that morning to warm it up. Odd - when I drove the car over there I didn't have all that crud blowing out of my vents. And how did it get into the closed armrest console? And on the backs of seats? We were only two minutes into it and already he stomped back to the office, opened the door, and stood there like Mussolini giving a balcony speech as he yelled that he was "tired of this SHIT. I cleaned this car for THREE HOURS and you've been complaining for fifteen minutes!" a) yeah - that's why I paid $400 for your three hours. b) no dude, it's been like a fifth of that time that we've ben talking. But yeah, I'm complaining. Because you didn't clean the car. I asked this is your idea of being professional? Screaming at a customer who paid you to clean a car then points out when you give them back a dirty one? He started yelling "Talk to David" over and over again, without telling me who David was. Wasn't he, the guy I was speaking with getting yelled at by, the manager? This is where he said "We do BASIC CLEANING. You want it GOOD, go somewhere else!" then stomped off the parking lot. Seriously, he left and got in his car to sit there and pout. I still don't know who David is. Anyhow, I don't recommend Auto Spa of Saskatoon. I anti-recommend them. Not thorough, not professional, and while Erika was nice the manager is not stable. EDIT: I found out who David is - he's the owner. He somehow found out about this review and rang me up to apologise. He said he'll be speaking with the manager and "making some changes", then gave me a full refund. While that doesn't turn back time and prevent the wound of the poor service I received, it is at least a salve that the owner acknowledges the error and gave an unsolicited refund.

I do not believe that conclusion was adequately supported. The original window had been shattered, but the regulator itself appeared intact. There are also repair instructions available for this model showing that proper access to the regulator requires removal of the exterior door panel. My concern is that the repair was being attempted without removing that panel. I personally observed the work being carried out this way. I tried to explain the procedure I understood to be required, but my information was dismissed rather than considered. With an uncommon vehicle such as this, it is entirely possible for an owner who has researched the repair to have useful information about the procedure. I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach, particularly before concluding that an additional component was defective. The interaction with the technician also became unnecessarily dismissive. I was left with the impression that the focus had shifted from determining how the repair could be completed properly to defending the original assessment. Ultimately, I had to drive home in the rain with the driver's window completely missing and the replacement glass sitting loose in the passenger area. I was particularly concerned about the safety of transporting a large piece of glass in that manner, especially in the event of a collision. My concern is not simply that the repair was unsuccessful. Repairs do not always go as planned. My concern is that I observed an attempt to complete the repair without removing the panel necessary to properly access the regulator, while the information I provided about the procedure was dismissed. I believe the situation could have been handled much more professionally by reconsidering the repair procedure, verifying whether the regulator was actually defective, and ensuring the vehicle was left in a safe condition before I departed.

I just got new tires and a wheel alignment done, and let me tell you... I do not have enough good…read morethings to say about Market Tire! Over the phone, they helped me select the absolute best tires for the kind of driving I do, while remaining in my price range. They actually ended up finding me tires with a mail in rebate that were below what I budgeted for! When I got to the shop, all the employees were super friendly and very helpful. Everyone in the store was quick ask if I needed help, and everyone in the shop had a smile on their face. Nice change of pace from some other Saskatoon shops, in my opinion! They got my car into the garage while I was still at the store, and had it done super quickly! They had someone load up my old winter rims for me, which was nice because I was wearing work clothes and not really in a position to lift big dirty hunks of metal! :) When I picked my car up, my new tires looked awesome, and I was anxious to try them out on the highway. My car had a shimmy for about a year before I took it to Market Tire - now I feel like it drives better than it ever has! I was super happy with the service I received, but I was totally blown away after I got a better look at my car.. It had a dangling piece of cowling underneath the front bumper that I have been meaning to secure for the longest time. I was absolutely over the moon when I noticed the Market Tire employees had zip tied it back into place for me! They also tucked away my winter plug-in (which is always falling out) very neatly into my grill. So not only does my car drive like it's brand new again, it doesn't look like it's falling apart anymore.. Much appreciated! I recently had some repairs done at a local shop and they ignored these issues, even while fixing my car. The way I was treated at Market Tire was far "Superior" to the service I received from that shop. I was so happy and grateful to see that the Market Tire employees did these small repairs for me without even being asked. Anyway, long story short, I think this is the best tire shop in the city. From start to finish, the guys at Market Tire provided me excellent customer service, and did an amazing job on my car. I feel like these guys really care about the work that they do, and they really want you to leave happy. Great job Market Tire! I will definitely be back!

To be completely honest, going to a mechanic as a female can be quite intimidating. Mechanics have a long standing history of taking advantage of women "who don't know any better" and before we know it, there are a bunch of extra fees for repairs we don't actually need. But that is not the case at TipTop Auto Repair. It feels good to finally have a mechanic who is not only knowledgeable, honest, and does thorough work, but also displays the upmost respect and professionalism when interacting with his customers. If I could give zero stars that would be more accurate; these guys do not even deserve the one…read morestar. I drive a Nissan Pathfinder; I recently moved to Saskatoon, was trying to avoid the dealership, and was looking for a mechanic that would be approved by Nissan warranty. Keep in mind that I understand very little about mechanics and vehicle care, and it is always something I dread having to do because it is all completely out of my realm of understanding; also keep in mind that I have paid for all my learned mistakes in this issue, thanks to Diversified Auto. Short story if you don't want to read my review: STAY AWAY FROM DIVERSIFIED AUTO! Long story: Diversified Auto assured me they could do Nissan warranty work. My Pathfinder was shuddering and shaking upon acceleration and from a quick google search, this could've been as simple as needing new spark plugs. Diversified Auto decided to immediately do a scan on the transmission only to find a code for a known recall/warranty issue involving the transmission; I later find out that this is a known bulletin that I would think those in the mechanic field would be aware of. After paying Diversified Auto $200 (!!) for this scan, I find out afterwards I could've had this done at Nissan for free. I can guarantee you that Diversified Auto knew this and took complete advantage of my naivety. I also needed my tires rotated and had this done in the same transaction (which, by they way, they forgot to do while I left my Pathfinder at the shop; I had to wait 45 minutes in the shop for them to do it after I reminded them). Then after, yes after, they rotated my tires, I am then informed that Diversified Auto is not equipped to reset the sensors in my tires, leaving me with a warning light on my dashboard. I was told by Diversified Auto to just take it to Nissan and they can do it for me, which I find out from Nissan (because of course that is where my Pathfinder ends up having to be!) is a $50 charge because it is not a simple procedure. Again, Diversified Auto took advantage of me not knowing about this sort of stuff. They have also ignored my message in trying to resolve this issue. Had Diversified Auto told me upfront that I needed to go to Nissan directly I would've had the utmost respect for them and would've referred others gladly. But they took advantage of me instead, and I promise I am telling everyone I know to stay clear of them because they are snaky and do not have their customer's best interest in mind.
