I drove 1300 miles and found this Costco. Some of the prices for food was less than we pay at home. Tomatoes from BC were a dollar and a half less in Saskatoon. Saskatoon is further from Vancouver BC than Vancouver, WA and the prices were less on so many items. Bought some tires at Costco last year and after hitting a decent sized pot hole realized that one of my tires was damaged. Went back to Costco to purchase a new one and to my surprise it was covered under the road hazard warrantee. It was replace fast and professionally (close to closing on a Friday night). Who needs Fuel? Good ol' Costco - always saving us money (on most items). Needed a load of premium to get me back home to Calgary - $1.28/l Premium at Costco while other pumps in Saskatoon were charging $1.29/l for REGULAR. Costco is Costco, but I find this location to be very busy and the staff to be rushed (probably because it is so busy) and generally not the friendliest. At other locations I've had great experiences with the staff as they always seem to be enjoying themselves. This location has great ready to make dinner options (we always get the chicken pot pie) and the gas station is always our second stop. Hopefully the store will calm down once the second location opens up in Saskatoon. read more

When it opened Costco has a great customer service mentality and some ppl who work there still do. But over the past five years I've noticed a hostile anti-service attitude take root that looks at the customer as a problem, not as the source of the business's revenue. If you want to see what I mean try returning something 2 days after the 90 policy. Or ask if you could get some ice from the soda machine to put in your cooler. I was told to go to the circle k! For products I bought at Costco no less. Anyway their hours are strange and changed from 630 and 530 on Saturdays and Sundays to 6 and 5 respectively. And still opens at 10am! What kind of big box has hours open till 5 and 830? Given that it can take up to half an hr to get to their isolated location from southeast Saskatoon, the hassle makes me question the worth of any savings from shopping there. In short: stop hiring people who don't understand the needs of their customers. I keep hearing they're opening a store in rosewood but that's been a rumour for 3 years now! read more

This is honestly one of the best places for people who want to one stop shop. The prices might not always be there very lowest, but the savings in not running from sale to sale to get the exact same items far outweighs the small change in your pocket. Plus, you have the peace of mind that if it is not exactly what you wanted or expected, there is a no hassle return policy. They are fantastic, and very open to hearing about new items and bringing back items that are requested if they pull them. It is tough to find someoneone to ask questions of at times unless you go to the service desk, but they certainly help you as soon as you get there and will retrieve what you need and not make you stand back in line to purchase it. The Marquis Drive location is fabulous and usually has far more selection than the east side location. The selection of gluten free food is amazing. The four star is only because I wish desperately they would get lactose free items in stock and I would never shop anywhere else again! read more

The design guy, Tim was extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain all the options.
