Again they obliged and where I was told elsewhere that it could not be repaired and had to be replaced Empirical took it on and repaired as opposed to replacing the part! a HUGE SAVING compared to replacing and an instant fix! Again Empirical does what others couldn't or wouldn't do! I will not be going anywhere else in the future. thank you to Allan the owner and to Elan and a couple others that helped me in my time of need!!

It does not have a carwash like the other two local Shell Stations on Fort and Douglas. The main complaint is that they change the gas prices rediculously through the day. You can drive by in the morning and gas is 1.22/L then go by a few hours later and it is 1.34/L... Craziness! They are completely out to lunch on pricing, so good when they price it low and criminal when they price it waaaaay over everyone else.. Trying to make a buck. Other than the gas pricing the place is good and the staff are very friendly when you go inside.

bought tires from Kal tire, partly sold by free flat repair promise. one day, a tire was leaking…read moreair. called Kal Tire on Tuesday. said they couldn't do it that day but come first thing Wednesday and they will look by end of day. went first thing Wednesday. they said they probably couldn't do it Wednesday but if I leave the car, they will do it Thursday. Thursday they said they couldn't look, would bump it to top of priority for Friday. Friday afternoon said they'd do it by end of day or first thing Saturday. Saturday morning they said they may or may not get to it that day. called mr lube a few blocks away. they said bring it in, they'll look right away. went to kal to get car. started to put on spare. they said that's not allowed. I asked them to do it. they said no, best they could do is give air so I could get off their parking lot. I went to mr lube. they looked at it right away, found nail near sidewall (not repairable). put on spare for me, no charge. now I need new tires. won't be from Kal Tire.
