I wish zero stars was an option. I wanted CO2 fractional later treatment. I called to make an appointment with Astrik, and she told me that I needed to stay out of the sun before the appointment, which I made sure to do. I drive 40 minutes from Glendale for the appointment. I arrived at 11:28am for my 11:30am appointment. While I was signing in, she took a walk-in (by their conversation, a client she has seen before) who came in with an emergency request for cosmetic treatment. She finally took me in at 11:50am. She got me into a room and immediately told me that I was too "suntanned" and she would not be able to do the treatment. I tried to tell her that I have a permanent pinkness to my skin, but she insisted I was "suntanned". I have attached a photo from immediately after I left the office at 11:58am. As I was leaving the room, she was greeting her next client. She clearly overbooked herself, and didn't want to help me. Likely because I was a Groupon customer. Horrible experience. Update: Astrik, your response is a joke. You weren't in the room with me more than 60 seconds before you told me I am too "suntanned" for the treatment. The attached photo was taken in my car immediately after leaving your ridiculous consultation. I came in to correct uneven skin tone, slight hyperpigmentation and some fine lines - all reasons that fractional laser is a good idea. You told me that because I am too "suntanned", your procedure would give me "brown spots." Great technical terms! Trust me, I know I dodged a bullet walking out of your office. A highly rated Dermotologist has since told me I am a great candidate and can look forward to fantastic results. You took a client walk-in during my appointment time, leaving me to sit in the lobby during my scheduled time. You made a point of asking me if I was a Groupon client (which I was), and you overbooked yourself (there was a client checking in 2 minutes after you walked me into the room). Super unprofessional. Then you called me a few days later to follow up on a treatment you didn't give me, and I had to remind you who I was and that you actually didn't give me the treatment! You may be a delight to the people you actually decide are worthy of your time, but to me you absolutely were not. read more

This review is a follow up to the review I posted on 10/3/18. All I can say is that I am officially beyond thrilled with the results I've experienced from the treatments at Petra Medi Spa! Just this week, I went into a business office where the women stopped what they were doing and raved about how great my skin looks! At least once a day, I have some stranger complement me on it. Since I first spoke with Astrik back in July 2018, I have had three Titan treatments, multiple microneedling treatments and IPL's on my face and my hands. As I was a sun worshiper when I was young, the dark spots on the back of my hands were pretty bad. Now, the dark spots on my hands have all but disappeared! Next month, I'm hoping to block out some time so I can have a CO2 treatment. I just cannot wait to see the results! To add to my enthusiasm over my results, I'm so happy to have met Astrik. I wanted this to work based on reviews but it just didn't. First visit was almost $300 and it didn't work. Went back for a touch up and she charged another $200 and it only lasted 1 month. It seemed like there could not have been the 44 units in my forehead alone and it not work. I can't articulate enough how much I adore Ms. Astrik and her fabulous Medi Spa. I came in with a girlfriend who has been coming in to see her for B12 shots (but not your normal B12 shots, these ones are super powered and full of all sorts of "B" awesomeness), so of course - never having had a B12 (or anything) ever injected into my lily-white-a$$, I NEEDED to try it! Wowza - I am so, so glad that I did. Not only did the shot cure my raging hangover (and allow my to imbibe once more that evening), it gave me energy, recoverability, and overall a super healthy feeling for the last 3 days since receiving the shot. Just got the Co2 laser treatment and I'm very happy so far! Astrik is amazing! I was so worried before and she took the time to go over everything and explain the steps. Treatment was less painful then expected and only took about 5 min. The next day she called to check on me (so nice) I'm almost done peeling and the new skin looks good but I know with this treatment I will see the full effect after the healing process is done. I absolutely love this place. Astrik is so kind and thorough with her work. I've been to several different laser places but have never felt so comfortable. I have suffered from acne for years and unfortunately was left with scars. I came to her with my concerns and she understood right away and suggested the CO2 treatment. She didn't try to push me to get a bunch of unnecessary treatments which I really appreciated. I have done 2 treatments with her so far and about to get my 3rd. People have noticed a difference and so have I. I feel confident to put my hair up and not try to hide my face behind my hair. The procedure itself isn't so painful. She does apply numbing cream for about 15-20 min. The laser treatment is a fast procedure. There is some downtime and redness of course. It does burn a bit the first day but it's tolerable. I started peeling about the 3-4 day. And noticed fresh pink skin about the 7th. I also decided to get some Juvederm done on my top lip since it was a bit thinner than my bottom and she did an amazing job. It is so natural looking where people notice something is different but can't tell exactly what it is and I love that. If anyone is looking to get some cosmetic work done I highly suggest Petra Medi spa. read more

I had originally written my review back in April of 2018. I received my second CO2 laser treatment here and it was nothing in comparison to the first. The initial CO2 I had in October 2017 gave me AMAZING results needless to say I was speechless. I was told I would hardly see results the first time but it was amazing. Due to stress I ended up breaking out again in November and new scars formed. I was ready to go into Petra Medi Spa again in April . The nurse suggested I go higher in terms of laser strength to see better results. So i paid out the difference, well I wrote my review in April way too soon. After healing my skin looked the same, areas were pinker than before I assumed I still needed to heal, and the pink spots would fade well thankfully they did, but to my surprise my skin did not change at all, I still have the same scars I walked in with. I asked the nurse what happened, she said that she did go deeper in my laser than the first time and that results would be visible within a month, well nothing.
