They are priced well for being in Encino and the services they offer. I specifically always request a female esthetician. Personal preference. I booked her for today and she wasnt there. I saw this salon on my way out from the Pilates studio next door. I booked an appointment for the salmon dna facial with an organic peel add on. I am very particular with facials. I did not catch the name of my esthetician , but it was a very nice woman who I could tell right off the bat had years of experience. Aside from feeling very pampered and relaxed by her, I appreciated her telling me what she was doing each step. And what I appreciated most was her honest advice. I had asked her about microneedling and other treatments I had been contemplating on doing, and she told me that she didn't think my skin required that kind of treatment. I feel like most places always try to upsell me without actually assessing if I need it or not. Even when discussing other products that they have, she would tell me oh you don't need this or that, your skin already looks well taken care of, so I never felt pressured into getting anything i didn't really want. As for the results, my face felt super clean after. It felt like she unclogged so much of my skin that I didn't think was clogged. I woke up with my pores looking so tight and skin looking so glassy. Very happy with the place and the treatment and look forward to having more future facials at Idan Med Spa. read more

You offered nothing. 2) You called me Friday afternoon, knowing I was going out of town did nothing, offered nothing. You were made well aware of everything I wrote below. You person canceled my Saturday appointment and treated me poorly, canceled my membership on me like I was expendable- lied to me multiple times.. That is why I canceled my membership for real on that same call with you. 3) You cost me $400 for a last minute appointment 30 miles away- money I could have spent with your business- but I was not valued and now YOU say you tried to fix this? How? Leaving me high and dry to call half a dozen places for a rare last minute appointment, when I should have been preparing for my 5 hour drive? Yes, I did absolutely LOVE your services, but I stick by what I said. Any business who treats good clients as expendable does not deserve the business. UPDATE: Well, I am so disappointed in how I have been treated in the last two days. I have never had so many lies told to me in 24 hours. I get a call that I cannot make an appointment with my membership on a weekend- something I have been doing for many months. Their own people book my next appointment at the visit. Apparently, they just changed policy and canceled my Saturday appointment. So I moved my appointment to the Friday before. I get a call mid Friday that they have to cancel my appointment at the last minute because the aesthetician is ill. Understandable if someone is sick. So, I asked for my original appointment back for Saturday, and was told they were running out of appointments and could not give me any of them. What the actual F? Seriously? I am not worthy of an appointment? So, then Clarissa tells me they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Seriously WTF, because she just told me she had appointments, but I could not have any of them. She never asked if I'd pay full price off membership. These people tortured me for two days with this appointment, blaming computer systems for glitches, which accidentally canceled my membership completely. Then today the sick aesthetician, but they won't give me an appointment tomorrow because 1) first reason they were running out of appointments; 2) my aesthetician wasn't available and I never asked that 3) they have only one aesthetician; 4) they are closed all weekend. I have had enough lies. I am not stupid. This was complete gaslighting It pains me, but I canceled my membership on the spot today because ANY company that tells a valued client that they are running out of appointments and not worthy of an open appointment is not deserving of the business. The Dr called after to apologize for their "mishandling" but offered zero help or accommodation even after I related the gaslighting about being told they were closed. Sad, but I am done! read more

I kept seeing Idan Med Spa on my Instagram feed & since I was due for a monthly HydraFacial, I decided to research the business. I LOVED all the stellar reviews, couldn't wait to book my appointment & was very pleased that I was able to schedule one within a few days. Upon arrival, Idan popped out of one of the treatment rooms & it was almost as if I was meeting a celebrity...he was just so welcoming & personable! We chatted briefly & Idan said I'd be helped shortly. In the blink of an eye, Fabian appeared in a sophisticated ensemble & whisked me to the treatment room where he would be my esthetician. The ambience was very inviting & comfortable; Fabian thoroughly evaluated my skin, actively listened & addressed my concerns plus (unlike some others in the past) explained what he'd be doing before each step. While I'm very familiar with HydraFacials & often choose ones with similar additional treatments (including manual extractions, red light therapy, etc.), it's very much appreciated when I'm informed about what products will be applied to my face. That way, I have a good idea of what to expect & can opt out BEFORE they're applied if I so choose (that wasn't the case here). After the HydraFacial, Fabian applied a cooling face mask & a very relaxing weighted eye mask that would've sent me to slumber town if it weren't for the incredible neck & arm massage! It was evident how he's not only highly skilled in his craft but takes immense pride in his work. And at this point, I can't decide which was better--the facial or the massage--so I'll just have to return to make my determination. read more
