I genuinely hate having to leave this review because, overall, I love Removery as a company and…read morehave had great results with my tattoo removal journey. However, this particular location has become a major source of frustration for me, and unfortunately, the issue centers around my experiences with one nurse, Cidney. For context, I purchased a large tattoo removal package during the Black Friday sale in November 2024 and spent roughly $3,800. I had been coming to this location regularly for treatments. Later, I wanted to add additional tattoos that were not included in my original package. Because I am a content creator and had already been documenting my tattoo removal journey online, I reached out to Removery's social media team. We ended up establishing a partnership in which I would receive treatment on additional tattoos in exchange for content. That is where the issues began. Despite knowing that capturing content is part of my partnership obligations, Cidney consistently makes the process uncomfortable. I completely understand that not everyone enjoys being on camera, and I have always respected that. I never film her face--only her hands during treatment. Even with those accommodations, her demeanor noticeably changes whenever content is involved. She becomes visibly tense, the energy in the room shifts, and it creates an environment where I no longer feel comfortable doing the job I agreed to do. In fact, during my last several appointments, I have not captured any content at all. I intentionally stopped bringing my camera because I wanted to avoid making her uncomfortable. The problem is that this prevents me from fulfilling the obligations of a partnership that both I and Removery agreed to. Beyond that, appointments with Cidney consistently feel rushed despite moving very slowly. I only realized how significant the difference was after being treated at another Removery location. At the other location, the nurse prepares in advance so that when I arrive, treatment begins smoothly and efficiently. With Cidney, a significant portion of the appointment often feels spent on tasks that could have been completed beforehand. As a result, we almost never finish treating all the tattoos I come in for, even when many of them are very small. The appointment eventually reaches its time limit, and I am told there is no time left to complete the remaining tattoos. Today's appointment was the final straw. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM. I arrived at 2:55 PM and waited while Cidney finished another client. I understand delays happen, and I was not upset about that. However, my appointment did not begin until approximately 3:09 PM. As we discussed the tattoos I wanted treated, Cidney told me we would need to limit what we did because we only had until 3:30 PM. That was frustrating because the shortened time was the result of the previous appointment running over--not because I arrived late. I explained that I should not lose treatment time because another appointment exceeded its scheduled slot. After I pushed back, she agreed to proceed with the full appointment. Wanting to maximize the time we had, I even told her not to worry about using ice packs between tattoos because many of the tattoos are already fading and the discomfort has become much more manageable. I was actively trying to help speed up the process so we could complete everything on my list. Despite that, the appointment still moved slowly, and once again we were unable to treat everything. At the end of the appointment, when Cidney attempted to schedule my next visit, I politely declined. I want to be clear that this review is not about Removery as a company. I have had positive experiences elsewhere and have seen excellent results from my treatments. My frustration is specific to the repeated experiences I have had at this location. I am actually urging Removery to repair the cooling machine at the Valencia location because I would happily make that my permanent location. The only reason I have continued coming here is because the Valencia machine has been out of service, and the treatments there are much harder to tolerate without the cold air system. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews especially when it comes to businesses I actually support, but after repeatedly experiencing the same issues over multiple appointments, I felt it was important to share my experience.

I originally went to Lucy Harutunian for eyebrow microblading. Permanent eyeliner was her…read morerecommendation, not mine. She told me it would enhance my eyes and carefully drew a beautiful pencil design that looked elegant, symmetrical, and flattering. I approved that exact design because I loved it. What Lucy permanently tattooed onto my eyes was completely different. The final eyeliner did not match the approved shape, thickness, symmetry, placement, or direction of the wings. One side was noticeably thicker, the wings were uneven, curved, and sharply angled upward instead of extending outward like the approved design. I am uploading photos of the original drawing and the healed result so people can compare them for themselves. The appointment itself was stressful from the beginning. Lucy arrived about 30 minutes late, then rushed through my appointment because she needed to move on to her next client. Permanent eyeliner is an irreversible procedure that requires patience and precision, yet I felt hurried the entire time. At the end, she told me she needed to start with her next client. After paying $1,287.50, I found that incredibly unprofessional. I also had a significant reaction to the numbing cream and my eyelids became visibly swollen. Instead of stopping and rescheduling, Lucy gave me Benadryl, waited briefly, and continued tattooing my swollen eyelids. She repeatedly adjusted the lines while my eyes were swollen and even asked me technical questions about placement, although I was relying entirely on her professional judgment. The worst part was how I was treated afterward. When I explained that the healed eyeliner looked nothing like the design I had approved, Lucy repeatedly interrupted me, became defensive, dismissed my concerns, and refused to take responsibility. She actually told me, "I can't deal with this right now," and "Your problem is that you're too much in your head." I was not "in my head." I was trying to explain that I had been permanently tattooed with eyeliner that looked materially different from the design she had personally created, shown me, and asked me to approve. Instead of acknowledging the obvious differences, Lucy blamed my eyes. She told me I had "hooded eyes" and even suggested I get an eyebrow lift. My eyes were exactly the same when she examined me, recommended permanent eyeliner, and drew the original design. If my eye shape supposedly made that design impossible, why recommend the procedure and ask me to approve it in the first place? I contacted her office immediately and reported the same concerns from day one. This was not buyer's remorse, poor healing, or pigment retention. My skin accepted the pigment perfectly. The problem was that the permanent eyeliner Lucy tattooed was materially different from the design I approved. Because of her work, I was forced to undergo multiple painful laser eyeliner removal treatments near my eyes. I spent additional money, had to cover the bright red discoloration with heavy makeup, sought independent professional opinions, and endured months of embarrassment, anxiety, stress, and emotional exhaustion. What makes this even more disturbing is that Lucy attempted to rely on her "non-refundable" policy instead of taking responsibility. That policy is meant for pigment retention, healing, or how a client's skin responds, not for tattooing something materially different from the approved design. A non-refundable policy should never excuse a service that was not performed as represented. Please don't rely only on carefully curated social media photos. Compare my approved design with the final result. I deeply regret trusting Lucy Hart Ink and would never recommend this business. This has been one of the most upsetting, humiliating, stressful, and emotionally exhausting experiences of my life. The photographs speak for themselves.
