Idk maybe it's just me but I booked 3 packages. Thermage, clear and brilliant and tattoo removal. First I'd like to say that they run a soft credit check without telling me, each and every time, and I get the notifications on my phone; immediately after they try to up-sale me. I'm finished with my thermage & honestly see no difference. We didn't even compare before and after pictures. I'm a little concerned about my tattoo removal and I understand that it will take some time but after getting a session of clear & brilliant done by one of the nurses, she basically told me that I'm paying for it to be done a certain way & one of the nurses failed to do it that way during my 1st session. Im now beginning to wonder if I will ever see results, especially if one nurse does it correctly and another doesn't... Due to all of this I decided to switch locations. I got a laser hair removal package for Brazilian and one small area (like armpits). They told me I could use at any location and the package never expires. I wasn't able to use it all at the time of purchase because I developed a chronic illness. A few years later I went back and got 1-2 more sessions done. I was upset because they said they didn't have any record of an additional add on of a small area in their system. I called and called to try to get that resolved but eventually let it go. I asked them to use the same intensity of the laser as last time but I think I was bumped back down to the weakest laser and that session didn't give me any results. A few years go by again and I go back to schedule the last 2-3 sessions I had left. I talked to a woman on the phone saying she saw I had two sessions left in the system but they needed to do something on their end so she could schedule the appointments. She said someone would call me next week to schedule. I didn't hear back so I called again. I was then told their system changed a few years ago so they wouldn't be able to honor any sessions purchased before that unless I had a receipt. Because of my chronic illness I had to throw away 90% of what I owned and I moved around a lot so there was no way I had the receipt. I ended up emailing someone and they said the same. I asked to be in contact with a supervisor and I didn't get a response back. At the time of purchase they said their system keeps track of everything and there wouldn't be a problem. I didn't only loose the small area add on of my package but I lost some of the sessions purchased as well! I signed up to get cool sculpting done after 2 years of research. I was told I only needed 2 procedures. I decided to do it. Not only did the procedure not work, and show results, I was told I would see results in 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months but I was also left with a $3000 bill. No one called to see how I was recovering, and check on my progress. Also no one called to schedule the 2nd procedure. I waited 3 months and nothing. The procedure was not worth the $3000 I was told I would have to pay. My doctor told me not do anymore procedures. I contacted them to cancel. Honestly horrible experience! I did the laser on my entire legs and Brazilian for $3.500. It DID NOT WORK AT ALL. During the 5th session (I had it 6 in total) I asked the nurse why it wasn't working and she checked that they were not even putting enough power in order to "burn" the hair, they weren't doing it right and cheating me, you suppose to feel something and I was always feeling nothing. My 1st session was Great , had downtime and results just like they said I would 2nd session I had no down time and no results Literally my skin wasn't sensitive at all the next day, I was able to use my glycolic cleaner and I didn't even get a tingle. I called and asked why my second session gave no result of sensitivity after - they said oh sometimes that happens I call bullshit - this treatment cost $400-500 a session. I want this redone to get the results I received the 1st time. I know very well the technician did something different and she wasn't as experienced as the First Lady I had. Hi I'm a regular by now, 8 out of 10 laser tattoo removal treatments! It's been a long journey that started with a video consultation. The receptionists are always friendly and focused. It seems like they get moved around, or maybe there's turnover? My friend is a tattoo artists and I told him the price for my treatment. He said it was reasonable. Fraudulent business! I was going to wait until all my 6 financed ($2250) face clear and brilliant sessions to leave a review, but I need to voice what has happened. On my third financed face C&B session, I was convinced to buy Rejuran (salmon dna) for my final 3 financed sessions. So I purchased 3 Rejuran plus 3 neck C&B ($1906.37) to be added to my last 3 face sessions that had already been paid for (Obviously) apparently I was getting a huge discount by making this purchase. My 4th session which included all 3 purchased items (face/neck/rejuran) went smooth, or so I believed. My 5th session including all 3 was my best session in my experience. My face literally healed the following day, which makes me believe my previous session, they either duped me on the Rejuran or applied something cheaper because it took a week for my face to heal. Which brings me to my main complaint. As I was trying to make an appointment for my sixth and final session of all three purchased procedures I was told I could only make an appointment for my neck C&B plus the Rejuran! The receptionist tried to explain to me that when I purchased the 3 Rejuran plus 3 neck C&B somehow they took away 1 face C&B. I said that must be a clerical error because the face C&B has already been financed. They called me back today saying that they can't "comp" me for a free face C&B, the most they can do is offer me an à la cart which is $500 at 50%!!! Not only am I insulted, but I am livid! I told her how can you offer me something that has already been paid for?!?!?! Somehow, they are trying to convince me that this is my fault. I have all my credit card and bank receipts. If they failed to properly add the paid for procedures, it should not be the customer's fault! If this issue is not resolved, I definitely will be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and will see them in civil court. To add to the fury, they did cancel one appointment and reschedule another. This office really needs to get their issues together. I was told by them that I was a perfect candidate for COOL SCULPTING, so I decided to try it. After my first session, I noticed no difference. They said "oh that's normal, you just have to come in for more sessions" so I did. After thousands of dollars, still nothing. The most I noticed was that they placed the machines on me lopsided so maybe I notice a bit of asymmetry not but other than that, really nothing. I wanted to get a certain area done and showed them where during the consultation, but after saying it's possible, they changed their minds and said they had to place it right above that area because they said the area I wanted "wasn't approved by the fda" or some bs like that.. that area was one of the MAIN REASONS I was there! I tried to get a refund because after they misled me about where I could do it and after it did NOTHING, I realized it was a big scam. They sent me from contact to contact like a merry go round talking to different people/managers and I got nowhere with them. First of all, I wouldn't recommend Laser Away for tattoo removal. I've done 9 sessions so far and my tattoos (all black ink) are slightly faded. I've done tattoo removal elsewhere and had black ink removed in 5 sessions. My nurse at another med spa said they could remove what Laser Away hasn't in about 2 sessions. Secondly, the last time I was there I was told I'd need 6 more sessions. The woman at the front asked me if I wanted to see if I qualified for a payment plan. I asked if it would be a hard inquiry, she said no. I said sure let's see. After entering my info she let me know I qualified. She said that the credit company would reach out in a few weeks to start the payment plan. I thought good, I have the chance to think it over before fully committing. A few weeks later I receive a billing statement in the mail -- apparently me "checking to see if I qualify" was me actually signing up for a line of credit without realizing it. I've checked to see if I qualified for a payment plan before and was not immediately signed up for it without my knowledge. After many phone calls with the credit company and back and forth with Laser Away, they agreed to refund the balance to the credit company (but not without suspicion that I was being shady, when in fact they were the ones not being forthcoming). However, more than 2 weeks later, I find out that no refund has been issued and my account balance has now gone to collections. I'm trying to reach someone from the Sherman Oaks location to sort this out but they're suddenly elusive. I don't like writing negative reviews and I rarely do, but this is affecting my credit as my husband and I are trying to save for a house and raise our nearly 2-year-old daughter. This is causing so much unnecessary stress. At this point if they don't issue the refund I'm going to have to open a fraud claim. read more

The facial was over $300 and I thought it would be a beautiful way to destress and prepare for my day- imagining other facials I have gotten where I am changed into a cozy robe and told to remove my socks so that they can also give me a foot rub while waiting for the face mask to set. But instead, I was laying on one of their normal procedure beds, with all of my clothing and lights on, they cleaned my face then told me they needed me to sign the iPad to give consent. This is after I had already prepaid for the service and signed paperwork. The practitioner stood behind me for five minutes, tapping on the iPad and I was extremely confused and unaware as to what was going on. Then the Practitioner said she was going to be right back with a new iPad. 30 minutes later I was still laying alone on the table, knowing that I had a back-to-back schedule to prepare for everything for the wedding the next day. I finally walked out and asked what was going on, and they said that their computers were down and they were waiting for a technician to arrive to help and they couldn't start the facial without my signature in the iPad. I told them that someone should have come in and let me know what was going on and there should have been a backup solution if the iPad going down. The front desk staff was very gracious and apologetic, but that doesn't change the fact that I could've booked a facial anywhere and it would've been much more luxurious and I actually would have gotten my pre-wedding facial. I stumbled upon LaserAway when I was searching through Groupon to get rid of a tattoo that I mistakenly placed on my Bentley aka my body lol Kim K. says never put a sticker on a Bentley...lesson learned! My tattoo is small and inconspicuous, however it's no longer needed. The first appointment was a consultation which only took ten minutes for her to explain to me the process and how long it will take for it to be completely removed. The staff is super friendly and attentive. My first laser appointment was quick as well, the laser treatment was a little painful only because I'm a wimp...ouch! Do NOT come here, unless you're willing to lose HUNDREDS of money. I was interested in looking into laser hair removal and I went to LaserAway's website. Shortly after, a sales associate Christie immediately called me and offered me promotion that seemed affordable - she broke it down to a monthly payment plan cost (I think it was about $100/month but you're paying that for over a year, over $2K total). I was so new to laser hair removal that I assumed those prices were normal and I foolishly signed up for the package. They also make it seem like their company is "elite" and "trusted" and "better" than other laser hair places and that's why they're charging premium prices. After doing some research and talking to friends about where they go for laser, I realized the prices LaserAway charges is insanely overpriced compared to everywhere else. And I mean INSANELY overpriced. I proceeded to cancel my membership, which thankfully was an option. However, by doing that, you therefore are responsible for the "a la carte" pricing of the services - meaning, you no longer get the promotional price and pay an outstanding amount of money for each service. I had received one treatment of underarms and brazilian. I therefore was responsible for the a la carte pricing of both - $399 for brazilian and $199 for underarms. Would like to point out other places cost about $70 for brazilian. Here's where I'm the most upset by the customer service. When signing up for the plan with Christie, she said they were currently doing a promotion where I would get free underarms with purchase of the brazilian. I really didn't want it or need it, but figured it's free so why not. In getting my refund for the membership and having to be responsible for these a la carte pricing, I don't feel it's fair that I pay $200 for the underarm service that I didn't want in the first place. Frankly, I'm upset that I have to pay a la carte pricing for the brazilian, but I accept the mistake I made by signing up in the first place and am fine with it. The underarms is what I don't think I should pay for. I called the Sherman Oaks office and asked for a refund for that service, they said they or Christie would call me back. No one did. One week later, I called again, and they finally transferred me to Christie directly. Oh hey girl, long time no talk. Her voice was shaky, she must have been nervous because she likely saw the reasoning in my argument but perhaps isn't allowed to or has the power to grant me the refund. She wasn't kind nor understanding and she was fake nice to me. I asked if there was someone else who I could speak with, which she clearly didn't like as she sounded annoyed and she said she could submit a ticket. Who knows if that's BS and if anything will happen with that. I then called the Sherman Oaks office hoping to speak to someone else so they could help me. I spoke with another associate and she said someone will be in touch with me. Who knows if I'll ever get a call or if I'll have to call and check in a week from now. The issue is not resolved, I've been dealing with this for over 2 months, and it requires diligent follow-up. It's absolutely ridiculous and I feel like I've been scammed. Maybe the services are okay, but the reality of the matter is, you're paying over 5X more than any other laser place. And they make it seem like you're getting a good deal by offering "promotions" and "packages" that seem enticing. But you're really not saving that much money when you compare it to any other place. Don't waste your time or money. Do not go here. Take my word for it. Truly feel sorry for anyone who rates this place highly and thinks they're getting a good deal. I have been going there since 2019 for legs, Brazilian, underarms, face etc. The service is provided by an RN, who is quick and makes sure the treatments are as painless as possible. Whenever I get a laser treatment, the staff members always ensure that I am comfortable and they go at my pace, taking quick breaks between each laser treatment. I am noticing a significant reduction in hair growth. It has had a tremendous positive impact on my day to day life. I don't spend hours waxing or shaving anymore. Facilities are modern, clean and private. They also spend a lot of time educating you on post are instructions and as long as you follow them you should be fine. I had hardly any of my tattoo left with zero scarring before going here for my last session of tattoo removal... the therapist went on such a high setting and went over the section at leasttttt 10 times that now I have a full scar. I now have a scar outline of the entire tattoo.. when a few days ago I had nothing here.. my skin was not damaged and now it's fully a white scar in replacement of my tattoo.
