It was warm, delicious, very tasty , a bit spicy and served on a really good soft bun with crispy edges. Perfectly cooked the sandwiches are served with orange slices , which is a nice break from chips or fries ! They have numerous coffe and matcha drinks hotv& cold. I tried the cold match blackberry lemonade and it was good and my hubby had the matcha raspberry latte and he really liked his. You know it's a great place when you unexpectedly run into the bride eating there the morning after her wedding!!! The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars ( because the food quality IS there !) is the bathroom situation. There's a very tiny sing men's and women's with a sink to wash hands inbetween. I didn't mind the " closet bathroom stall - I minded the dirty floor and the fact that when I went to wash my hands in the shared sink outside the stall in between the bathrooms , barely any soap dispenses! I went under 4 x just to get enough soap to get the buffalo sauce off of my hands. This is concerning because it makes you wonder if the cooks are bothering to try to get any soap on their hands ?! . Roast and Toast : *Clean the bathroom floors and get a new soap dispenser and I bet you'll get the stars and reviews your food deserves !

Because the place was populated (but not crowded) and my order was simple (a matcha and cranberry chicken salad) Filling my order was a lay-up. The drink came in a timely fashion but my sandwich was nowhere to be found. Add to that I was sitting in the very visible window seat, by myself...a fact made more obvious by the fact that no one was near me and I'm a black dude in a very white restaurant (basically making me even more obvious). Now to be clear: I DO NOT think this was racially motivated, I DO think , however, it was due to inattentive staff. Personally I'm also not a fan of having to go get my food when they call my name, ESPECIALLY if the drink and the food come out at different times. Too much up and down for me. Cute place but I was disappointed...which bums me out because I really WANTED to like this place. This will probably be my only time here (as I am just passing through) and, sadly, this was the impression I was left with.

Iron Goat Coffee is such a great addition to the Walloon Village!…read more We recently stayed nearby and walked over to IGC on a Friday morning and again on Saturday morning... The Friday morning visit was five stars. We walked in and must have hit it at just the right time as there was no line. My husband and I ordered the lavender chai latte off the Spring time special menu. I ordered mine with oat milk and his with regular and asked them to make both of them dirty. We were both super happy with this selection. We didn't have to wait very long even though there was only one person working that day. The next morning, there was a long line and two people working... and the specialty menu was no longer available. Even so, they did let my husband order the lavender chai latte again. I went with a flat white with oat milk and light lavender. We waited quite awhile and noticed others around us did as well. It was fine since we were not in a rush, but not the best experience. Clearly the staff were stressed with the rush of people and so many orders to fill. The coffees were once again delicious. There is a limited food menu and a small retail area, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. There isn't any other gourmet coffee in the area to my knowledge, so if you are wanting a fancy coffee, this may be your only option. If you hit it right, you will have an incredible experience, but if there is a line during a busy time, be prepared for a bit of a wait. Either way, enjoy your time at Walloon Lake - it's magical!
