    To start: The issue was resolved and I received a small refund, the customer service of the lady at…read morethe front desk (yes I know her name, no I will not be naming names) was a sweetheart as was the supervisor. I took my pet to get a groom. Which included a haircut, ear clean, nail trim and bath. I called a head of time to ensure that was what was included. I bring in my dog and the groomer seems very miserable and annoyed that we're even there. She says "what're we doing today" I was confused because on the online booking I stated what I wanted (keep in mind this is my first time taking him to get groomed so I'm unfamiliar as to what to ask for and assumed the groomer just looks at the dog and knows... I was wrong) I then told her whatever the package included. She told me okay see you in an hour. I go on my way and 1.5 hour later I walk in and pay over 70$. I see my dog and he's the same length around and still wet. The groomer explains "he wouldn't stay still for anything, he didn't listen to my commands, and I couldn't do anything" I wasn't shocked as my dog is an anxious pet. I spoke with the front desk lady to explain to her how disappointed I was about my experience with Ruffins and she told me a supervisor would call me back as soon as she can. I Left irritated, I received a-call the next day from the groomer.. . She explained to me that she couldn't do anything on him due to the safety of my dog. That's fine, why was I still charged for the whole service 73.50$ and why was he late coming out if he didn't get groomed? She then starts to claim that they charge per time taken on the dogs. I then repeated myself and said "okay so it took 1.5 to bath my dog? And he didn't get groomed" I should have been called the minute you knew he wasn't able to get groomed. After the convo the actual supervisor called me and apologized and offered me a refund of the haircut. I went to pick up the refund today and it was $17.00.... So I guess the bath costed over $55.00. Such a waste of money and time coming to this place to get groomed. The customer service from the supervisor and front desk was great. The groomer; absolutely not. I do not recommend coming here to get your pet groomed.

I could've set a banana on my counter and got that for free. I call and speak to management - she says it's bc of the temperature ?? And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong?? It's a simple product and issue but her info on this is incorrect. I ran a hot professional breeding facility for 18 years. I breed fruit flies like crazy. I'm concerned that employees there are acting like they know when they don't and it'll hurt customers looking
