Disappointed. Their sales rep told me they would remove my two loveseats and put them to the curb…read more She explained they couldn't take them and I was okay with that. Once I paid the bill in full prior to deliver, I received a call from her Manager and was told they could not remove my loveseats. It left me scrambling to arrange another company to remove them. If I knew they would not take the old out, I could have either purchased somewhere else that provides that service or just be upfront with me.

I purchased a couch from Parks Furniture on September 25, 2025, for $800 and picked it up myself. That same evening, I discovered the couch was moldy. The next day, I contacted the store. After some delay, they finally agreed to pick it up and deliver a replacement. On September 28, the new couch arrived -- also moldy. When they tried to replace just one section, that piece was moldy too. I had everything removed from my home at that point. I then spoke with a sales representative on September 29, who offered a completely different couch at the same price. I agreed, hoping this nightmare was over. Days passed with no updates, and when I called on October 1, I was told the delay was because they were "waiting for someone to drive to Toronto." By October 3, I had been without a couch for over a week and still had no clear delivery date. On October 4, I finally received a call -- only to be told that my replacement couch wouldn't arrive until Wednesday of next week. That's when I'd had enough. I requested a refund and asked to speak to the owner. I was told "no one speaks to the owner" and was yelled and screamed at by the staff. The entire experience has been appalling -- multiple mold-contaminated couches, complete lack of urgency, and absolutely no respect for customers. Considering this company's previous water damage incident reported in June, it's hard not to wonder if their storage conditions are still unsafe and leading to ongoing mold issues. I've never encountered such unprofessional behavior from a business. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration -- do not buy from Parks Furniture.

Ordered 2 loft chairs and a couch, paid in full the date that the orders where taken - no issues right now experienced, this is late August of 2020. Come October 2020 got told delays because of COVID - no issue, I understand. Get told by Elizabeth that I should receive 3 pieces by early December. Come December no email or call from Elizabeth explaining delays. I HAD TO CALL HER to ask about my order and get told should be coming mid December, understand but not upset. Got my first part of the order, couch no issue. But second order missing... end up getting the 2 loft chairs end of December 2020. Called Elizabeth and stated one of the chairs is damaged - the leg point part broken. Get told by Elizabeth to send her email with pictures and I do as requested on December 16,2020. Here is where my issues start... January passes, February 2021 comes and no update from Elizabeth. So on February 13, 2021 I email asking for an update. Funny part here - she forgot ALL ABOUT MY DAMAGED CHAIR RECEIVED. But she said she will contact manufacture . Receive update from Elizabeth and gives me tracking number. Then on February 16, 2021 I get a message from a neighbour indicating I've had a parcel delivered to THEIR ADDRESS. Pick it up and discover the WRONG ADDRESS WAS GIVEN to the manufacturer by Elizabeth. So I email her explaining that I was NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER WITH MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE AT THE STORE - with the way my issue was handled by her. As one can imagine, if my neighbour was not honest, I would be out a replacement leg and this loft chair would be useless. Today is March 4,2021 and no response has been received to date from her explaining or providing some form of customer service. Overall, would I recommend this place to a friend, family - NO BECAUSE IF AN ISSUES ARISES SHE TURNS A BLIND EYE AND IGNORES HER CUSTOMERS.
