They also graciously take our family's parrot, with a lovely room in the front with the view of all the comings and goings. Knowing she can't come out of her cage while she's there, this stimulating view with natural light is so important, so special. Not all boarding facilities can offer that. The ultra peace of mind Pawfection provides me is particularly precious and highly valuable. I'm a customer for life.

The front desk man keeps notes on an index card of mine and the dogs preferences and my top one is NO CRATE! so in order to accommodate that my dog is dropped off first thing in the morning 8:30am. So, I drop him off at 8:30am, an hour and 15 mins I get a call that he's "extremely matted" I said to guy impossible! He has a few tangles here and there and whatever you do; DO NOT SHAVE HIS TAIL! Blah blah blah we hang up. 4 hours elapsed and still no call about my dog. I called and spoke to a woman who said he was very matted and he has another 40 mins. More waiting saying how can a bath and shave be 5 hours, something is wrong! Now it's almost 5.5 hours later I get a call from the man at the front that my dog is ready. I walk in the dog is on the grooming table and what looks like to be getting his front legs shaved. I said "he's not ready, why would you have me come in and upset the dog" I go back out and less than 5 mins later the guy comes out and says he's ready. I walk in where is my dog! IN THE CRATE! I immediately asked for the dog out of the crate the lunatic man there slams the gate door open and is aggressively handling the situation. I said never again, you know this dog doesn't do crates! Anyway, I get home they only 3 legs groomed and he had a burn mark like a frantic abrasion to his inner thigh!! My poor innocent dog has been extremely jumpy and depressed since being there! Never have and never will, which tells me they don't really keep the store clean to begin with. If you prefer convenience of products being delivered to your door go with that option. They have a huge assortment of products for your pet which is good but be weary as some products are not safe and contain hazardous materials not on the labels. I recommend research the product you intend to buy. On occasion, my pet as gotten sick from products sold from this company which is why I bring it up. Only reason it gets three stars instead of four is because they don't give military/veteran discounts.

I've been taking my dog for grooming at Clermont Petco for about 2 years. Kayleigh used to do his…read moregrooming, but during my previous visits, another groomer had been doing it. I called and found out that Kayleigh had already left the store. I took my dog for the basic bath package + deshedding (additional $30); I was told to return in 2 hours and that I would also receive a text message that my dog would be ready. Two hours later, I still had not received a text, so I drove to the store and arrived there 2 hours and 15 minutes after I dropped him off. When I got there, I saw my dog thru the glass window (he saw me, too). About five minutes later, he was brought out; I paid and drove home. I just vacuumed the carpet at my home the day prior, but I noticed clumps of loose hair again. I checked my dog and noticed on his left and right side there's a 4-inch wide area that runs from the shoulder to his tail, as if someone ran a mower (perhaps the deshedding brush). I didn't notice it when I picked him up because he was still kinda wet, but when his coat dried, it's very visible. The next day, we went out for a drive - hair was flying all over that I had immediately vacuum the car when we got home. I gave him a bath using a rubber mit that has rubber studs on the palm side. I removed a tremendous amount of hair that it clogged the bathtub. I felt cheated, and the groomer did NOT even bother telling me that the deshedding was not completed. UNSATISFACTORY!
