We've had 2 small dogs throughout the years, and both have been super pains in the butt about having their nails trimmed. We've brought both here and even if they needed two people to hold a 7-pound little guy down in full muzzle (he was fine the second they were done), it was all good! They professionally did what they needed to do to get the job done and no harm was done. One of our little guys we used to get a summer hairdo here as well, and again, totally great experience as well, no matter who was working the random times we realized we needed it done ASAP in May. I agree that Loving Hands Groomers used to be great . when I called for an appointment I was told that Carmen ( who has groomed my dog for 4 Years) was no longer there. The person on the phone said that she had a wonderful groomer for my dog . Well that didn't prove to be correct . She had really screwed up the haircut , and I had to bring him back to correct all the mistakes . Okay I thought everyone has a bad day , and will try again with a different person grooming him ! BIG mistake on my part ! When I went to pick him up, he needed to have his eyebr cut a little shorter . Well she then proceeded to put a muzzle on him , stating that he might bite her . He has never bite anyone . When I put him in the car, I noticed that he was bleeding from his mouth .He was bleeding quite a bit. I will never go back again ! read more

Loving Hands used to be great. They have recently lost two groomers that were amazing. At my most recent appointment, I was told I would have a new groomer and this groomer did an awful job on my dog. I wasn't given a heads up I would have someone new before arriving for the appointment. His cut was not clean, wonky, and they shaved his eyelashes off, only left one single, long eyelash that I had to trim off to match the rest of his missing eyelashes. Also ended up trimming some of his face and head that was not even. I can deal with his legs and body not being even. Without the two groomers that left, its not the same place. Don't bring your pets here! They pretended to bathe my dog and claimed that she wouldn't let them cut her hair. The reality was they didn't even bathe her! They just put some perfume on her. Her top knot was the exact same as when I brought her in and she still had the same hair tie on. They charged me $40 for a bath she never got and an extra 5 for brushing some knots out that they never even brushed. Ridiculous!!! Loving Hands Grooming was the only groomer of 4 in my area I requested quotes from for our labradoodle puppy to take "large" breeds. They did a great job with our puppy's first groom! The wait was a bit on a Saturday morning, but I guess that is to be expected! I walked in to a clean, attractive little "salon", complete with nail polish choices, and all kinds of ribbons. Our groomer showed interest in our preferences and was very patient with getting Bucky Lou completely taken care of. They make notes on each dog, how they act during the groom, if they should walk them before the owner picks them up, etc. Overall, I'm very pleased, even though I was a bit nervous! It was our Morkie dog Duke's first visit to this groomer. Upon arrival. We were greeted with open arms by the staff. Duke's groomer for the day Jessenia also was present. Jessenia was very accommodating as to what type of service my Wife and I wanted for Duke by showing us the various packages and the length of the haircut we wanted. The place is very clean. The staff is very respectful to their customers and your pets. Being Dukes very first time here. Jessenia informed us of Dukes behavior. Liz, the owner, and her Niece welcomes all the dogs as if they were part of their family. Everyone who works here are so caring and patient with the animals,and I really appreciate that. My Sophie has been coming here since they opened up,and now that she's older, she gets nervous when being groomed,and the groomer's know exactly how to calm her down. The shop is very clean, they pick up the fur after each dog, wipe down everything and the place doesn't smell like wet dogs! I'm always pleased with the grooming of my Sophie! They always take great care of our little doggie. Perfectly groomed and smelling so clean. He comes out with a cute little bandana. They usually try to fit him in even if they are busy. This weekend we took him by for what was supposed to be a bath but we decided to get him groomed too. They were packed for the July 4th holiday, but said sure. We went back after they were finished and asked if they would hold on to him a little longer so I could get my hair cut. They were so accommodating and said sure. Come back when you're done. Just picked up my dog Nala. It was her first time ever going to a groomer. I have always gave her a bath and trimmed her myself. As an Australian Shepherd her hair was getting long and slightly matted. I am not sure how they did it but they managed to make her no only look great but look years younger. They charged me $55.00 for a full grooming and my dog came with all the hair inside his ears and that was the main reason for the grooming and I told them to clean well his ears of hair. He's had issues with having his ears cleaned and they have never complained about him. They'll let me know, and I've been afraid they wouldn't let him come anymore. Just called today and they got me in right away! Was in and out in about 10 minutes for a nail clipping and buffing and they even sprayed my baby with a sweet smelling perfume. I'm leaving my previous review below to show how a negative situation was turned into a positive one. all it took was some care from Mrs. Liz(The Owner and receptionist). She was fast to contact me and offer to fix for my dog. She was so nice that I felt bad about my first review and have the need to write this one and make it fare. Liz fixed the cut and my dog looks a lot better now. The money for the cut was refunded plus a free cut was offered the next time I go to Loving Hands Groomer. I actually got my sister in law to take her Schnauzer to her and Mrs Liz helped her also. Liz, Thanks for your attention and care. You are an excellent example of good care and customer service! Hope to be able to take my dog there again and leave him at your care. Wow! By far the worst cut my Schnauzer had in 6 years. Awesome receptionist though! I have to say that part also. My Dog's eyebrows are a disaster, He does not look like a Schnauzer at all. The girl that cut my dog must have been in a hurry because the process should've taken almost 4 hours and she was "done" in less than 2 hours. The worst part of the deal was the price... I paid for a "handling fee" because according to the girl cutting my dogs nails, he was difficult to hold his paw. The final price was $63 dollar to cut a Standard Schnauzer. Price was a little high, but worth it to keep it local and not have to go to pet smart. When we picked up our dog was much happier and excited than usual when we drop at Pet Smart in Clermont or Winter Garden.
