Whatever you do, do not engage with this company for any reason. I have moved eight times in past four years and this was, by far, the worse experience. First, Paul underestimates how much time it will take. They accept a down payment by credit card but the remainder has to be in cash. My movers were to arrive between 1400 and 1600. When i hadn't heard a thing by 1800, I started to try and track them down. The two movers arrived after dusk, approximately 1930. The movers were fine but exhausted. I hold Paul solely responsible. Because of the late start and exhaustion, loading the truck took double the time it should have taken. They struggled with disassembling and assembling my bed. The dining room table was beyond their expertise so I picked up one end (4X6 solid wood) and instructed mover on the other end how to maneuver through door. In fact, they were so exhausted, I started hauling furniture along with them. No clue how long it would have taken if I had not helped. When they arrived at my new home it was after 10:00 pm. The lead mover who also was the driver kept commenting on how many hours they were "over" and Paul wanted to know if I was going to pay with charge card because he was "ready to leave the office". One bad thing after the other happened. One example, my mattress was propped up outside the building while they carried other items in. It was 0100 and the lawn sprinklers started. Completely saturated mattress. Once they assembled my bed, they placed mattress on it. I have an upholstered headboard and storage frame. Yes, off white linen. The mattress started to gush dirty water on and into the storage frame staining all four storage drawers. Not to mention being too wet to sleep on. At 0315 in the morning, everything was moved into apartment..... And i was informed I needed to pay over $600 more in cash because "we ran over". The mover offered to call Paul who was not hearing a thing i said. Again, it was not the actual movers fault. Why Paul didn't send another person to help knowing how exhausted they were and running behind is beyond me. I have experience in ergonomics and workman comp. I don't know if this is true as i didn't ask but I would bet money that Paul does not ensure appropriate training for his staff; specifically, body mechanics and how to pick up/move furniture. The movers were very polite and professional which i greatly appreciated as I was exhausted beyond belief. read more
