Total cost to replace a water heater. $759.67…read more Our neighbor had their water heater replaced recently and they recommended 3J's. So I called 3J's and I did not ask for an estimate which was my mistake. They picked up a new water heater (less than $400) which I ordered and paid at Home Depot. They brought it to our condo and replaced the old water heater. There are 4 water heaters in an attached storage outside of our unit. They had to maneuver other water heaters to take ours out. They did not tell me when they arrived and I'm not sure how long it took to do the job, but I feel like they were not there more than 2 hours. A couple days later, I received an invoice of total $759.67.
