On July 2nd 2025 at 5:34 Pm. I was at Pete's in Independence Kansas. A guy named Nick that is a employer was there was infront of me checking out. I was next after him, then he then started to be flirtatious with me and he ended up take my 44 oz cup that I had. Then I end up stamping at him to give me my cup back and for a second or 3 he ended up giving it back finally. When after he left, I ended up leaving my stuff inside and went straight to the car. To tell my husband, he already could tell something wasn't right when I came out of gas station. Then when I just had told him after what just happened my husband then went in told the lady that was working and seened what he did to me. Then told her that we reported to Erie corporate that he was harassing me another time before and that it wasn't the first that he has done that kinda flirtatious stuff before. Then my husband then told her if he does it again, and doesn't get reported and we see him again and he does it again that we would get law inforcement involved. My husband and I don't take this kinda stuff lightly. He's not just done this to me, but has done it to other women come to find out. I then went back in after my husband said all that stuff to the lady I talked to another employer there, then I ended up asking him where the lady my husband ended up reporting to was at and said that she was calling her supervior to report of what just had happened in the gas station. Pete gas station in independence ks has two rude men working there is out of order no people skills at all.

Tried to redeem kickback points because I didn't have enough money on my card to cover a soda. After the cashier assured me that the kickback was redeemed, he told me I was good to swipe my card. I swiped and left. Checked my kickback balance and my debit card balance. Kickback points were all still there (clearly not redeemed) and my debit card is now in overdraft. Called up there and asked the manager to void the transaction and re-ring it up correctly and was told they don't have the power to do that because the item already left the store. I'm not sure why that matters, because I'm not trying to return the item, only trying to have the SAME ITEM voided and rang up again. So not only are the employees not competent enough to know how to redeem kickback points, but they also won't help you after they make a mistake. I was told to call Kickback. Not sure how Kickback is going to fix the fact that my bank account is now overdraft by $35. A soda that should've cost me only $0.50 with Kickback is now going to cost closer to $40. If you can avoid using this Pete's, I would drive the extra distance and go to another location because this one is being managed by assholes. read more
