The food was very good. We had a chicken fried chicken really good and crispy on the outside moist on the inside. Had an egg skillet was good too. Service, not very friendly, uninviting, mostly frowning. Sorry I was a customer especially when my tip was automatically charged to the bill on my to go order at 20%. Best restaurant in Coffeyville! At least for breakfast. Service is fantastic: checking in at good intervals, immediately fixing any errors in the order (hash browns instead of fried potatoes), smiling, friendly, and they all help each other out. Food is even better - perfectly fried chicken on fluffy biscuits that have just a hint of crisp to the edges, covered in creamy gravy. Juicy pork chops, and fluffy omelettes. We'll try more entrees out every time we visit. Oh, and clean, beautifully decorated! read more

Everything seemed underdone. Chicken fried steak was mushy and lacked flavor. Seemed like a flour breading only.

I got a BLT from there and all they gave me was bacon on toast. Service is okay I guess. But other than that pretty nice

So I wasn't able to find another place to sit down and have breakfast in Coffeyville, KS. IF there is another it didn't show up on yelp or google right away. In any case, I popped in here on my way from Tulsa, OK to Overland Park, KS. I popped in to this country style chain restaurant and was treated like a local. The staff were warm and friendly from the git go. I sat at the bar as I was travelling alone. I asked for coffee and it came out quick and was hot. I ordered and omlete with hash browns and biscuit and gravy. The food did come out quickly and was presented well, but wasn't the best I'd ever had. I did get exactly what I ordered but for me the quality just wasn't there. The hashbrowns were mostly cooked but only partially brown. For a small town this place really isn't bad. Service was good and the food was hot like the coffee and again the staff were super friendly. This is still a solid spot to come in and grab a meal but there is room to improve. If I get hungry for breakfast on this trip again, I'd be happy to stop back in. read more

We are Eggburt's fans. Both Bartlesville & Independence are always good. But today we were in Coffeyville. I needed something hot to drink & there was Eggburt's Coffeyville. When we walked in there was a huge pile of dirty dishes on the bar. Ok so not a great start but my husband was hungry. I asked for hot cocoa. We both ordered off the Sr. Menu. I ordered a chicken fried chicken & asked for french fries (it comes with mashed potatoes & your choice of vegetable). I was told they could not do that because the Senior menu does not allow for substitutions. Senior discrimination? Ok so my choice of vegetable would be french fries. Nope can't do that either. Manager came out & absolutely refused to allow one potatoes dish to be traded out for another potato dish. But she said I could buy a side of French fries. Fine bring me a side of French fries. I got cold cocoa which was dribbled on the table by waiter. I recieved a large breaded chicken breast with gravy & mashed potatoes. And a separate plate of French fries. No vegetable. My husband ordered a Senior hamburger steak. It was chewy. Mashed potato was powdered potatoes & his corn was a two tbsp portion that did not taste right. My husband is not picky at all so for him to complain means it was bad. On top of that every few minutes I would get a smell of sewer! As we were walking out we had to pass by the hallway where the restrooms were located. The sewer smell was very strong there. We will never go to Coffeyville Eggburt's again. And I cannot recommend it to anyone else. read more

Eggberts is delicious! Imagine ihop, but better and in coffeyville KS. Scrambled eggs were a bit lacking, however everything else was delicious. It was also very affordable. I love eggberts #15 read more

For the price it wasn't really worth it one of the waitresses had her child in there while she was working not very professional. I ordered a chef salad that was like $10 all the ingredients listed on the menu were not in the salad and it didn't even fill me up read more

The restaurant could definitely use a facelift on the inside - the seating placement is strange and it's just dark/gloomy. Food was pretty decent. Burgers were juicy and the fries were hot. The sweet tea was ehh...not sweet; tasted like tap water and stevia. read more

Not the cleanest place I ever been. Awful chicken fried steak. I've seen thicker cardboard! Batter was tasty but the cardboard had a freezer burn flavor or something- not sure. Soooo stay clear of the chicken fried steak. Can't say much about other food items. Seemed like the potatoes were good. For amazing chicken fried steak i'd recommend the Copan truck stop in Copan Oklahoma on US 75 just south of the Kansas state line. read more

I enjoyed this little cafe. The service was attentive and the food was great. The hashbrowns were crispy, the veggie omelet was perfect and the prices fair. I'm so happy I came here instead of a fast food breakfast. read more

We ate here when we were in Kansas looking for a place to live. The portions were hearty and the prices super reasonable however we all ended up sick as hell a few hours later and this is all we'd eaten that day. Fun times! read more

Two of us went here for a quick lunch. The menu was similar in food choices as Dennys or any other similar meat and three. We both order sweet tea, which was properly sweetened and tasted fresh-brewed. I ordered a turkey club sandwich with fries, and the other person with me ordered the Mediterranean omelette. The food came out promptly after ordering. Both dishes were served to us as we ordered and tasted wonderful. The service was very good - prompt and friendly. Richie, our server, did an excellent job by making sure we had what we needed, that food came out on time, and followed through while we were there to make sure we had enough tea. All of this with an infectiously happy attitude. They should clone him and put him in the places where I have eaten with mediocre service, to show them how it is done. Overall a very good place to eat with excellent service, in a town where there are few food options eating out. read more

Service was so so. We asked for sugar and creamer as both were empty and the waitress brought some and proceeded to dump them in the middle of the table. My daughter, whose also a waitress, said: if I did that where I work I'd be in trouble. The food is standard chain store diner fare. The restaurant it's self was dirty with food and dirty napkins and other things under the tables and tables that weren't cleaned off. Most likely will not eat here again or recommend this restaurant to others. read more

Service is horrible. Every single evening I've came in here there's either not enough waitresses, or they're plain rude. Especially on Fridays one specific waitress seems to take more breaks to vape than they do work. Food gets left under heat lamp for 20 minutes at a time. Takes an hour once ordering to get food. After someone was that rude to my family and I we will not be coming back till that waitress no longer works here. Wish I could leave less than a star for this business! read more

Used to frequently get take out from this place. However tonight was the last straw. I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a side salad. The menu says smothered in gravy however I got absolutely no gravy. The potatoes were tasteless- tasted like they literally mashed potatoes- no seasoning, butter, milk- nothing. The chicken was maybe a quarter of an inch thick, dry and cool. The salad was a handful of lettuce and a few diced tomatoes. And the burger we ordered had ONE piece of lettuce that didn't even cover half the burger. This time I called in to complain. They did nothing about it just said sorry. The last time we ordered 2 crispy chicken salads. The chicken was cold like it was precooked then refrigerated. The waitresses are always rude when they answer the phone. After you order one thing they cut you off before you finish with- is this all. They leave your signed credit/debit card receipts laying on the counter- have seen 5 or 6 laying there when we went in. The counter where you pick up orders is always a mess of receipts, news papers and ads. A couple of the younger waitresses are nice but the rest are rude and act like you are an inconvenience to them. The entry way has leaves blown in it. Seems dirty. Oh and at 715pm the signage outside was all off. The cook is always out back smoking when we leave. read more
