Dr Carlson takes a very personal approach with her care, where she almost feels like a family member because she wants to know about how you feel and what you've been up to since she saw you last to ensure she can offer real advice that will apply to you, not a textbook stock response. She really listens when you're describing symptoms or ailments and takes notes in your chart as you converse. She offers options, never hesitates to suggests further testing yet doesn't order unnecessary labs or tests either. If your schedule is flexible, you can often get a same or next day appt. To give you an idea of how wonderful she is, I drive 30+ miles to see her and there are plenty of options much closer to home.

This was actually great by me. Very rude office staff and his nurse was quite difficult as well. They seem much more interested in collecting their fees rather than the well being of their patient. Had to seriously illegally dbl park on the frontage rd, let her out and lift her up the insanely high curb with her walker, gor which she almost collapsed, make her walk in toncheck in by herself! And then go search for 20 min for parking and then when she was out, had to make her stand outside in almost 100 degrees for me to get to my car and park illegally again! I will never ever come here again! Needs to be put out of business!

I was told to,"Calm the hell down." I just recently went in and was shocked by the behavior of the nurse Misty. She was very rude and condescending. She insulted me on my clothing choices twice and was I clean and wearing clothing free of disrepair. She asked me if I, "Like to dress like my Grandma." Then she asked me what i was in for and I told her I brought a list so as not to forget. She then said, "Oh,shit. Give me the list." I was taken aback by this. She spent very little time with me, treated me like garbage, then left the room and gossiped with the doctor just outside where I could hear them mumbling about me. Then the doctor came in and accused me of being on Norco's, which she had never prescribed to me. She asked me point blank in an accusatory tone, "So, where have you been getting your Norco's?" That was the very first thing she said to me. After that I felt that I really had to defend myself. I'm a mother, a wife, I manage a couple of apartment complexes and volunteer in my child's classroom. I pride myself on being a good person, but instead I left their office and cried the whole way home due to the unnecessary shame and anger and undue stress. The doctor does seem to know what she's doing, I can respect that, but it would be nice if it was done in a more caring and professional way. I told the secretary that I no longer wanted to speak with Misty, I told the doctor that she insulted me for no reason and accused me of being a drug seeker for no reason, and who was the first person I saw on my next visit? That's right, Misty. Did she apologize or show any signs of remorse or having been subject to disciplinary action... No. I would not recommend this office.
