I have been a pt of Dr Foster since convenient care went out of business, I see him once a year, all is good. My husband recently had need of a, pcp following a galbladder surgery. The man never goes to drs, so I recommend mine. From thurs to mon left 3 messages with no call backs, he tried again on Monday, success. One of the first question asked is 'are you on opiates?' I just had surgery, took a norco on sat. She transferred him to get manager only to get another machine. I call back to find out what the hell is going, and I'm told that due to the opiate crisis, they treat everyone like they drug seeking. Talk about offended. Two different people treated him like a drug seeker. Im very disappointed in the quality of staff in his office. Due to this we will be taking our ins and business elsewhere.
Addendum: the office manager calls back only to defend her staff. When asked why our messages weren't returned she tells us that she has to go, she's busy. Great business doc.
Addendum 2
We'r called a lot of physicians yesterday that were accepting new pts, not one of them asked the question, 'are you on opiates ' not one.
So I went in yesterday to sign a medical records release, the office manager comes bopping out, and rather than introduce herself, says im the office manager. I reply, Ok. She bops back behind a door that she left cracked, listening. I fill out my paperwork, all when my records will be transferred, the blonde says when she can get to it. Im kind of fed up by this time, and ask her name as she's not wearing a badge. She stands up, I hear my husband going uh oh, and try to get between us. Seriously lady, you wanna brawl? Anyway never got her name said thank you and left. I get a phone call at 1659, from dr Foster's office, I let it go to VM, as I was done with them. Listened to it later, she stated legally we have 10 days for a medical record release, but I just sent it. Can you say Passive aggressive? Dr Foster your staff has some issues. read more
