Wonderful boardwalk path, a great paved path, and we even hiked on the Cross Seminole trail. The river and dock were beautiful, but we didn't put our kayaks in since the current looked pretty strong. It's a nice stop for our pups and it had become a ritual. The park is always maintained, foggy bags are always present and the grass is mowed. One of the benches is in the only sandy area but all have shade at different times of the day. My doggies love this park. It is worth the stop if you are in the area.

Our captain really knew a greatbdeal and I learned a great deal about the swamps. Saw a real cold-water spring, and he got us into some open water where he could show what anbairboat can do. Even though we went during the low season (August) when not as many manatees are present in the water, it also happens to be the time of year where the babies are around. Our Captain used a drone to locate a mother and baby manatee where no other tour groups were located. We were in very shallow water, and the manatees literally swam underneath of our bodies, pushing us up to the surface and rolling us around where we were completely powerless and stuck within the mangroves.
