Despite multiple follow-ups since then, I still have not received the refund or a clear explanation for the delay. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable--I'm simply asking for the money he already agreed to return. My biggest concern is the lack of follow-through and professionalism. I understand that unforeseen equipment issues can happen, but making commitments to a customer and then not following through--and later promising a refund without actually issuing it--has left me very disappointed.

The issue is that I was bid a price based off of their employees having to climb. I was told I'd receive a 20% discount if the lift could be used, as that'd reduce the labor costs. What ultimately happened was the lift was brought, but not even taken off the trailer as no one had to climb, they removed the tree from the ground. I asked for the 20% discount but was only offered 10%. By my logic, they could've parked the lift next to the tree and not even use it, and I would've received the full 20% discount. I'm all for efficiency but I feel in this case their efficiency was to my detriment. Having to pay more for what feels like less left a bad taste in my mouth.

After cancelling, they also failed to cancel the Xcel Energy appointment to drop our power line so Xcel crew showed up at our house for nothing. We ended up calling another tree place and had the tree down a few days later without any hassle.
