Filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and mash

If you're looking for a classic dinner experience then Peter will deliver. Mature & professional waite staff, table side preparation such a treat. Started with great selection of cocktails, then the Jumbo-Jumbo shrimp, followed by classic Cesare Salad prepared table side. (Don't sweat the anchovies). Then a filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, perfectly cooked, well balanced sauce not overpowering. Finally the Cherry Jubilee table side on ice cream. All parts of the meal were on point, pleasant staff in a tradition steakhouse ambiance. Can't wait for another occasion to return.

Two thumbs up! Just to try their deserts is already worth the visit! Their steaks are the best among the steak houses we tried in Toronto and Melbourne. Their services are superb and are very attentive! We have reactions on even slight MSGs but it seems that this restaurant has No MSGs added on their food. This restaurant lets you feel that you are sitting in a cozy home and enjoying their food.

PETER's FINE DINING . . My fiancé and I celebrated Christmas early with a romantic dinner at Peters Fine Dining, an old school steakhouse located in Markham. They have an extensive wine list, a variety of steak cuts and prime rib, as well as seafood and appetizers. Shortly after we sat down, we were served some hot buttery bread which was to die for. The whole restaurant was decked out in Christmas decor which I loved. . . Escargots Bourguignon 2.5/5 We found this lacking in flavour and presentation. Steak Dianne 4.7/5 Absolutely delicious! Two beef tenderloin steaks cooked table side with garlic, mushroom and green onion, finished in a Brandy wine reduction. The sauce was mouth watering good and was a perfect pairing with the mashed potatoes. Prime rib (14oz) 4.5/5 The cook and texture were perfect. . . Overall we had an amazing first experience here! I loved the atmosphere, service was attentive the food was delicious. All ladies also get a lovely rose at the end which is a fantastic way to end a romantic date night!

Amazing little restaurant on Highway 7, I've been here a few times and the service and steaks here are simply excellent! The ambiance is great, feels very homie and warm, servers are all very friendly and polite The Peters cut is my favourite steak here, it's 24 oz! Very juicy and flavourful, highly recommend the Peters cut along with their Caesar salad. Came here on my birthday and they gave our party chocolate cake and roses for us to take home, high recommend

My boyfriend swears by their steak so we thought what better place to celebrate his birthday. We ordered a couple dishes to share between 4 people: * Classic Caesar Salad $39 * Escargots Bourguignon $16 * 16 oz. Ribeye Steak $66 * Regular Cut (14 oz.) Peter's Famous Prime Rib $60 * Accompaniments: Fresh Mushroom Caps $15 and Thick Onion Rings w Cajun Sauce $14 Peter's Fine Dining is a culinary gem that provides an exceptional dining experience from the moment you step in the door. The ambiance is the perfect blend of elegance and sophistication that maintains a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff at Peter's Fine Dining are top-notch and provide unparalleled service. They are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable - ready with recommendations. But the real star of Peter's Fine Dining is undoubtedly the food. The menu is carefully curated, offering a wide variety of appetizers, soups, salads, steaks, seafood, and more. The presentation is impeccable, with each dish artfully plated. They're both delicious and visually stunning. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a more luxurious dining experience, Peter's Fine Dining is a great choice. Will definitely be back!

TO DIE FOR! Tom was the hostess with the mostest. We took my brother-in-law and sister-in-law here for dinner. The decor was fantastic especially since we are all Kiss fans - right down to Tom's car which was gifted to him from Gene Simmons. Tom is definitely interesting and has had a 40+ year friendship with Gene. (doesn't hurt that he looks a lot like him too). The Ceasar salad was prepared table side, my mouth waters every time I think about it the garlic and flavour ,,, yum! My husband and I ordered Chateaubriand for 2, my brother-in-law got the steak Dianne - also cooked tableside. My sister-in-law ordered the Greek salad... all I can say is everything was to perfection... the boys ordered specialty coffee afterwards which was also done tableside. What a perfect night with some of the most talented staff friendly and welcoming, a definite go to spot for our future.

Awesome taste! Yeah, I really enjoyed myself. The food was better than expected, but for the price, it better be good! Very friendly staff, and they're Greek, so that was a bonus! Nice rustic feel. 4/5

A cozy homey steakhouse filled with warm décor and kiss memorabilia. It's an expensive meal for a special occasion. Caesar Salad - Must get! They do it tableside, so it's a show and its tasty! Crunchy croutons, creamy, cheesy, lemony all combined together with some crunchy romaine lettuce! French Onion Soup - overly salty. Hints of red wine + cheesy ness, but would not recommend Bacon wrapped Scallops - Bacon was overcooked and not crispy, but the scallops were cooked nicely. The cream sauce that it came with was too salty, but can be someone balanced with the accompanied lemon. Would also steer away from this. Sole fish - Almandine crust was good, added a nutty sweetness to the fish. Fish itself was disappointing would not recommend getting the sole fish as it was rather lacking in flavour. Vegetables that came along with the fish was nice, lightly seasoned with butter was a nice touch. Tomahawk steak - A tough steak to cook, but it was cooked well at medium rare. Opposite to the previous dishes, I wished the steak was seasoned a bit more. It came with a gravy and bearnaise sauce where I preferred neither of them. Gravy was not seasoned well, and bearnaise sauce was too much like a horseradish. Might go for a ribeye cooked rare next time, more meat. Crème Brulee - A rather unique take with a nice custard at the bottom and rough torched sugar at the top. The roughness gives it an interesting texture, but I still prefer the flat smooth surface. Would try some other desserts instead. Cherry jubilee ice cream - Flambéed table side for a good show. The syrup was heavy with alcohol, but when eaten with ice cream, it was delicious. My only gripe with this was that the ice cream was too melt by the time the desert was prepared, not to mentioned the burning liquid was being poured onto the ice cream. Looking forward to try the other tableside prepared dessert.

A very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Both the food and service are excellent, especially Benny's service. It feels like home. The ladies all received flowers. Thank you for your arrangement.

4.5/5 Friends from abroad were visiting so we had something special for a Saturday night. As always, service was great although the server served a side dish wrongly, it's quickly fixed as the server gave the correct side dish on complimentary basis. Caeser salad dressing was made fresh in front of us and it's delicious. The lamb chops were cooked just right and very tasty! Other dishes were equally great! All ladies always got a rose when leaving the restaurant. This is always the place for special celebrations!

    Michelle T.

Just because you aren't my server doesn't mean you don't wear a mask when you're talking to me. We're in a pandemic and I'm trying to help your business. Absolutely disgusting. Why was the table littered with black bits strewn across the tablecloth? If I say it's dirty and point to the evidence, the only acceptable answer is to apologize and either clean the table, or get me to a new table. What's with the attitude? My friend asked about why he didn't wear a mask and then he said to leave if we're unhappy? You can bet that's exactly what I did. I don't care if the food is made by chef Ramsay, that attitude reeks.

The restaurant is a decent size with a cozy and relaxing ambiance. We ordered some of the most popular dishes, and everything that came out was absolutely delicious. Amy, one of the servers/managers, handled the situation so professionally. Even though it was already last call and the kitchen was closing, she was able to have the correct dish remade for us. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and even gave us a complimentary plum drink along with some butter cranberry cookies. Amy provided exceptional customer service and was absolutely awesome throughout the experience. Despite the long wait, the food and service made it worth it. There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

Captain's Boil, the formulaic chain would be the floor and the one I really enjoyed, Lobster Boil Seafood House, in North York would be the ceiling. What I'm about to say about Sea Salt would definitely leave their management a bit "salty". Unequivocally, Sea Salt sits in the deep basement of the pecking order. Sea Salt's standing was easily determined after my first spoonful of the seafood broil. The sauce was their downfall as they went overboard with the of garlic and not to mention they burnt the garlic. As the Cajun sauce is the soul of a seafood boil, their sauce literally ruined the entire dish and experience. The combo we ordered came with fried calamari and shrimp and fries. The fried calamari and shrimp lacked a bit of "salt", which is rather ironic considering the restaurant's name and neither of the sauce complimented (sweet chilli and ranch) the calamari well. The fries were what you expected it to be. But a little bit too much sauce. The one thing that I liked was you could choose to have the Turkish Salaam Cola as part of your combo drink choice. I didn't think it was all that different from regular cola, but it was nice to try. Service is quite slow here and not super attentive. We had to flag them down various times to get things that should have been provided. We weren't given enough plates to start and we had to request for bibs and disposable gloves. These are pretty standard things at other boil places. In general, the appetizers were better than the seafood boil. The portion of the combo was pretty good so we packed some of it to go. But to put things into perspective, the following day I reheated the food for lunch, and my two kids didn't even touch it (with one of them who had experienced Lobster Boil Seafood house). That tells you something!

The restaurant is brightly lit with lots of natural sunlight, the decor is a mix of elegance and rustic at the same time. It's got an open and inviting feel. Our server was fantastic - very patient with a large group like ours, able to tell us right off the bat what is and is not customizable, recommendations of when to order to ensure flow works out. Food: Charbroiled octopus - one of my favorite dishes I tried - perfectly cooked, has a nice char, good meaty bits but not chewy, has a really nice chili oil on it. I can not stress how much I recommend getting this if you enjoy seafood. 5/5. Chorizo appetizer - comes out in a little pig plate with an open flame underneath. The chorizo itself is good with a nice spice, dense meat. The best part of this dish (IMO) is the spiced apple sauce on the side that cuts the richness of the sausage with a sweet and tangy apple and a little spice kick. 4.5/5. Bread - fresh baked bread with butter, a pumpkin jam and cheese. Everything on that plate works so well together. I definitely recommend this as an all rounding pleasing appetizer - 5/5. Beets - the beets were fresh with a vibrant orange colour. The apple, walnut and goat cheese all work together. I do wish this dish had a bit more but it works. 4.5/5. Brussel sprouts - amazing deep fried brussel sprouts - makes me want to always deep fry them for life. The spicy harissa sauce works well with the sprouts. Crunchy peanuts on top add both a texture and nuttiness that is refreshing to the brussel sprouts. 5/5. Oysters - super fresh, absolutely delicious without any condiments needed. Loved them. 5/5. Paella - this is definitely large enough for 2 people to eat so consider sharing unless you have a monster appetite. As with all their plates, it is beautifully constructed. The shrimp are huge and meaty. Mussels are plentiful, lots of chorizo and bay scallops. The rice has that really nice briny seafood flavor from the broth. It was just a teeny tiny bit overly salty to my taste but it's cut with the dollops of sour cream. Has this really nice low level heat that just works without burning your mouth. 4.5/5. Lamb sirloin - great crust on the lamb and cook as well. Flavorful sear and crust on the lamb with a soft tender meaty interior. Can't go wrong with- 5/5. Branzino - delicious flaky and light with a great grill. If you're interested in a fresh fish, this is a good choice. Was a special on the menu - 5/5. Prices: Fine dining pricing but you get the excellent food, service and experience for the price.

I noticed that there were many different flavours in terms of lobster dishes, which is good if you want a little variety and you don't want to get bored of having the same flavour the entire meal. We ordered the lobster in cheese sauce, lobster fried with garlic, and of course, the lobster mountain. They serve the lobster mountain with the little fried fishes which taste amazing on its own, and even better paired with congee or rice. We also had the steamed bass and crab legs which were tasty as well. However, there are a few cons about this place. The location is small and not very roomy, so it gets uncomfortable if you're with a big group. I felt squished sitting so close to my relatives and by the people sitting at the table behind me. Also, when the servers brought the live lobsters out, they let it crawl on the lazy Susan. The water that it was swimming in was left and not cleaned up which grossed me out. Not an appetizing site. Seafood was pretty average for the price paid. I probably won't come back here on my own because of the cons that I mentioned, but who knows, maybe I'll be back if my family drags me out here again.
