I recently booked them for a trip to the Caribbean, and everything seemed great at the beginning, driver arrived on time, it was a bit steep but I was planning for a stress free trip. When it came to come home, Our flight was delayed, I immediately texted the driver, and emailed the company. To my shock and frustration, despite me providing over five hours of notice of delay, and new arrival time, they declared this as extended waiting time for the driver. (Who by the way wouldn't have left yet). OK, so I've considered if we were sharing a ride with strangers, sure obviously can't make passengers wait, but an email before we left our vacation confirmed that the return trip would be Private, meaning we were the drivers only fare. So, under this policy, WHICH IS NOT CLEAR, you are subject to additional costs per hour. Was the flight delay our fault? NO! But we paid $800 up front 48hrs before our trip. So, they wanted to charge us an additional $450 some odd dollars for the time change. So, the total cost for the service greatly exceeded the round trip air fare for my vacation!! I don't understand how they're allowed to implement these ridiculous policies, but I am spreading awareness so this does not happen to anyone else. Read reviews on reddit too, apparently they are not even a great company to work for. Horrible company. What a headache.

So well organized and operated smoothly, even in the midst of a rainstorm in preparation for impending snow. There were certain parts of the airport that were 'under construction', but there were visible signs about where/how to take a detour to get to baggage claim, security, your gate, etc. Maybe I shouldn't be impressed, but I am. When you've had more sour experiences than sweet at many airports in/outside of the country, you'd understand my plight lol. The best part was the lovely view of the water while waiting for transportation to the hotel. I know the other Toronto airport is bigger and more popular, but if I can, I'd choose this one again. So far, I have only received a short reply from John Davis, that "he cannot tell me" how much is on the card. He send my message to "accounting" to find out... It's been about 2 months and haven't heard back. TAL seems like a disorganized mess, with no interest in welcoming new customers. I'll update this if things change, but so far I will say - go elsewhere.

I don't get why they want to stop aircraft from using an airport! There are no scheduled flights, which is a shame. With so many people living this side of Toronto, and the 401 being so horrid for driving to Pearson, it would be great to get some regular flights out of Oshawa.
