Asked around in the hospital where I work and this doc (Dr R) was recommended as doctor's doctor. Seems everyone I spoke to (nurses and docs had this guy do the honors). So, I had the test today. I would say everything about this was 5 stars. Right from check- in- very pleasant staff. Doc came and spent a good time with me explaining about the procedure (he's done 13000!!!) what to expect etc. from that point on everything was a breeze.. woke up feeling better than I went in. He can back and explained the results to Me and my wife. Clean bill of health ..and no need for another one for the next 10 yrs.

I took an Uber there by myself, and they called my wife to come pick me up; my wife didn't have to wait there. When I woke up after the surgery, my bellybutton was an innie again. There was some pain for about a week, and I took about 7 days off of work. No problems since then.

When my insurance wouldn't cover my medication--which would have cost thousands of dollars--she went above and beyond to help me get it for free. She's always been patient and thorough, never rushing through appointments, and takes the time to answer all my questions. Recently, she also saw my mom for a colonoscopy and provided the same level of care. She was incredibly thorough, answered all of our (very anxious) questions, and made sure my mom felt completely comfortable throughout the process. Without us even asking, she ensured that all the staff present were female, knowing that we are Muslim and prefer female providers. That level of thoughtfulness and respect meant so much to us. I'm not too happy with his staff in regards to getting my prescriptions refilled. The office doesn't seem to understand the urgency when patients run out of refills and need the doctor to sign off on new fills. It's happened to me twice already where the pharmacy contacted their office for new refills, and the pharmacy cancelled my order because his office didn't respond quickly enough. I've had to call them each time, and I shouldn't have to. I also shouldn't have to wait over 2 weeks for the office to respond to the pharmacy.
