I don't even know why I was worried. My dental hygienist (whose name I wish I remembered!) was awesome and friendly. We talked about Animal Crossing (my pandemic coping mechanism). Dr. M saw me and was as bright and cheery as ever. I was even treated to a pretty funny dad joke: "your teeth are good, we don't need to quarantine them. Some people's teeth are so bad, they gotta leave them here for us to quarantine." - he even said it with a completely straight face. It was reassuring, and definitely gave me a 'you are doing OK, we are all in this together' vibe. Everything was stated factually with zero judgment. Turns out I have a cavity, but it was stated as 'check out this cool photo! So here's your filing, and here's some cavity around it, so it'd be a good idea to take care of it.' The picture was, indeed, cool. I left my appointment happy I had gone, and excited to get my cavity fixed. That should be their slogan -' we don't suck so much you're excited to come see us!' Also, they have the office decorated for Halloween, even though the waiting room is closed. It was cool and appreciated.

Conflicting stories. They did give me an estimate but its an estimate on what my out of network insurance will cover, but its like 200 dollars. Thats not really accepting insurance. Then today during my work meetings, the receptionist called numerous times to collect payment and refuse to have my husband seen who was in their lobby if I didn't get off my meetings and pay immediately. They need to be upfront and considerate. I felt like I was taking advantage of and it looks like other clients feel the same way on yelp.

Incredible, I left this review a year ago and it has somehow vanished. Lost all faith in Google…read morereviews. Here is the post "My daughter and I went to Tom Jackson to get some implants, etc. done on her teeth. During our first visit, Tom examined my daughter's mouth and afterwards told us he thought the whole procedure would come in just under $20k. We thought great, seems reasonable and went ahead with the process. My daughter, who lives out of town, flew in for the second visit to start the process. The following day we receive the treatment plan from his assistant. The estimated cost was a little over $34k (70% above estimate). We were flabbergasted. We called Tom and asked him how he could have been off that much on his original quote and he said "I don't do billing". Needless to say we stopped the process and looked elsewhere. We found a very professional outfit, very highly rated and who my daughter was very comfortable with and whose treatment plan estimated the total cost at under $19k for the same procedures (less than Tom's original quote). What a terrible experience. My daughter has gone through the first part of the procedure and everything looks great. One other note - after we called and complained, Tom said he would refund our fees for the second visit (not the first) but we had to sign a nondisclosure agreement (gag order) not to discuss this on social media. I declined." My daughters teeth are wonderful.

My daughter had to have a mouth piece inserted as the doctor worked on her teeth. It really hurt my daughter and she was in tears. The doctor kept telling her it doesn't hurt and that 3 year old kids handle this without crying. How is that reassuring? She also gave her no warning and shoved the mouthpiece in without explaining what was going to happen. You work with kids, you should know better. Also, the assistant had no idea how to answer any of my questions and had to have the doctor explain which took longer to track her down again. It was a pretty simple question which was easily answered on chat gtp. We won't be returning.

Okay - I am telling you to find a different dental office. We've been going here at least 8 years…read moreand it's completely gone downhill. To start, I had an appt for my 3 kids (booked 6 months in advance) and they called a week before canceling and I was told that the next time they could get in was 3 months later, or else during school. Next, we finally get there and I am charged for my kids' routine checkups even though our insurance covers the checkups 100%. After calling their business office, I was told I would get a refund. Explanation is that they got a new system and made a mistake. Finally, my son had a cavity and also needed some topical put on his teeth. I knew the topical wasn't covered. They quoted $324. LOL the bill was over $800 and now they're saying they gave me that quote. But their online portal STILL shows they quoted me $324 for that specific visit. Amy reported it's a glitch and in her system it says I was quoted $800. Not to mention I called about this on 12/19 and 12/30 and just got a call back today, 1/3. I'd highly advise not going here based on this review and the other recent ones.
