We…read morecommunicated via email for several weeks - he responds quickly and answers any questions you may have. When we met, he showed us albums and products that you may purchase thru him. And he doesn't pressure you into buying anything you don't want. We set up a date and the locales that we wanted to shoot. The engagement shoot went very well. He will tell you how to pose exactly and he will capture the perfect angles and you can pitch ideas as you go along. We stuck to the preselected locations and William came up with a few improv locations/shots as well. We had him for a total of 3 hours and boy did the time fly by! I do warn that afterwards you will be very tired - be prepared to hold poses and natural smiles. William was professional, understanding, and was prepared for the unanticipated the whole time! The teaser took a little more than 2 weeks to post on his website. All images were available for proofing within the month. And he sends a CD of all the corrected images within 2 months. After submitting the final revisions to your proof, took less than a month to receive the physical album. The album that we received was exactly what was discussed with no surprises with the layout that we chose. Couldn't be happier!

We hired William for the following services: engagement photo shoot, wedding day photographer, wedding day photo booth (Momobooth), rush photo printing (20x30 canvas), and wedding photo album. During our first meeting, William took the time to show us his work and samples of the gorgeous flat-lay wedding albums. More importantly, he asked us questions to get a sense of what WE were looking for in our wedding photos. We never felt pressured to book immediately or book add-on's if we didn't need them. During the engagement shoot, William was super patient when my feet started hurting (dying) from walking around Central Park in heels. Ladies, bring a change of shoes even if your heels are really annoying to put on. Our shoot ran over by an hour, but William never rushed me as I hobbled to the next shooting location. We walked 2-3 miles that day. FML. Another thing we really appreciated about William are his simple directions while shooting. He doesn't over-direct. As for the wedding day, he was great. He showed up early to scout a first-look location around our hotel. He had his own transportation so he didn't need to ride in the party bus with us. He worked quickly at Jane's Carousel (DUMBO) when we found a spot that wasn't crowded. He got great pics of the ceremony without being a distraction. I didn't even notice him. He and his assistant took endless group pics during the reception. I wonder if they even ate their meals. Momobooth was loved by our guests. It's an enclosed booth with a cloth backdrop. The booth comes with an attendant and photo props. The guests get to choose from a few photo layouts. I was able to customize the photo layouts with William. One nice bonus feature is getting a soft copy of all the photo booth pics taken throughout the night. William made editing the wedding album an easy process by starting it for me. He formats each page and chooses pics that tell the story of the wedding day. When you have a 1,000+ pics to look through, you appreciate getting some help. I asked him to work his Photoshop magic on some pics. That dress hanging awkwardly over my bridesmaid's head in an otherwise beautiful group shot? Poof. Gone. William made our lives easier. Everything was convenient. Payments were made online. Photos were available online and later delivered on cute flash drives. He even made us a slideshow. I didn't know that was part of the package but it came in handy when my FIL asked for a slideshow. Thanks for everything, William!!

We were a little concerned about only having one photographer for our wedding, but he assured us that he offers complete coverage, and he was right. He gave us a nice mix of candid, photo-journalistic shots and traditional posed family portraits (which we knew would be important to both of our parents), and we were very comfortable working with him. My husband has always hated getting his picture taken, so I was particularly impressed that Paul was able to make him feel comfortable enough to look relaxed and smile the whole time. Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with Paul's work and would highly recommend him to anyone. He captured the wedding beautifully and made us look fantastic, and we will treasure those pictures forever.

I had an pretty traditional Desi (Indian) wedding and the photographer knew exactly what to do. He worked with me and my husband to get the best shots we could, which was not easy because we were INDOORS, in not the best lighting. He was very attentive to detail and captured some amazing shots of me and my husband before the ceremony. He was respectful of my requests and asked me beforehand what shots I wanted to get and definitely delivered. He was good to ask about when it would and wouldn't be appropriate for photos. Also he was very friendly with all the guests who were all very happy to be in the pictures. The turnaround time was reasonable, I got my photos back within the promised time and he was kind enough to give me some preview shots right after he wedding to show my family overseas who couldn't make it. I would definitely recommend Kar Edge Imagery for any upcoming events you may have! He is very easy going but still does great work!

I made a whole list and spent a few days talking to him about my expectations as the bride of what photos I wanted. the day of the wedding, he had people who we had never discussed would be there taking our photos and I had never even spoken with these people about what I wanted as the bride so everything I had noted was pretty much disregarded. I didn't appreciate that Zak did a bait and switch with who would be taking my wedding photos. In all, the photos turned out alright. my main issue is with the video. we waited almost three months for our wedding video, so I was expecting a really great video. the video was 1.5 hours long and was completely unedited. the preview videos were amazing, but when the true video came around it was just horrible. Zak said he hadn't even watched the whole video to see what had happened and that he hired a third party to do the editing. whoever did the video just did not even put in effort to making sure our wedding video was taken care of. it is now almost March and my wedding was last August and we still don't have a wedding video from Zak. we can hardly even contact him for any update on the video or when we should expect it. If someone recommends him to you, I would be wary that he may not respond to you often and may not provide the best product.
