From our very first conversation, they took my inspiration seriously and playfully. Like many weddings, our day had last-minute complications and changes, but they rolled with every punch and found creative ways to work with small spaces, rainy weather, and adjusted schedules. They made us feel beloved and represented at every juncture. I felt like I could relax and enjoy the day, knowing that they would capture the moments I'll never want to forget.

Time for a review update!!…read more My husband and I hired Artist European to shoot our wedding. This was one of the best decisions that we've ever made -- Gerda and Barb are absolute rockstars. Not only are they rockstar photographers but they are also super sweet and incredible to work with. I've been in several weddings and have witnessed several wedding photographers do their thing. I think what really sets Gerda apart is her creativity, enthusiasm and passion. During our wedding day there was never a dull moment. She constantly thinks of new and creative shots and had us, our bridal parties and our families laughing and smiling the entire time. On your wedding day the last thing that you want to do is ask for certain shots (it's so hard to think). Luckily, we had Gerda there to help create every perfect shot. Post wedding we had our preview in less than one day and our USB was ready in less than two weeks. We have nearly 4,000 photos to choose from which is amazing. Photos are obviously one of the most important parts of the wedding day and I am so glad that we worked with Gerda and Barb. They book out far in advance and I truly feel lucky that they were able to shoot our wedding!

His ability to work with people creates a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere in which subjects are at ease. I have worked with Russ on many photo shoots and observed how his enjoyment of the work and his subjects comes through in his photographs. His seemingly limitless ability to find new perspectives creates photos that are unique and engaging.

Russ arrived early and started shooting immediately, capturing the arrival of guests and the decorative details of the event before they were disturbed. Without being distracting or demanding, he took beautiful portraits and action shots, endearing himself to our guests, taking special requests graciously, and, most importantly, making sure every aspect of the event - and every guest - was caught on film. As the night wound down, Russ took extra care to make sure there were no additional requests and the subjects - my parents - were completely satisfied. In less than a week, the photos were posted online and the DVDs put in the mail. Over 250 of them! Russ clearly enjoys what he does and his jovial demeanor instantly puts his subjects at ease. His years of experience working as a photojournalist give him the calm confidence that he will get the shots he needs and the skill to do it, even in difficult shooting conditions. We would highly recommend Russ for your next event. By the end of the night, he will feel like family! --The Casianos, Chicago, IL

So, in Episode 1 of TRC Photography, we discussed buying prints of Toms amazing work. In Episode 2…read morewe discuss the other aspect of his services, The Photo Shoot. It's tough to come up with a 40th birthday gift for an estranged spouse. These days, the only thing we have in common is our children, so it seemed fitting to include them somehow. In a rare moment of clarity, I found a way to get this done, give business to a worthy photographer ( ahem, and friend) at the same time. I posed the idea to Tom, to do a photo shoot of my kids as a present for my wife and his energy and enthusiasm made me immediately think I made the right choice. We discussed locations and concepts based on what I had seen of his work. Tom had some fantastic ideas and was very receptive to my own ideas. Tom feels that the comfort of the subjects is important, so we decided to do an outdoor shoot at the park in the neighborhood where they grew up. The day came and although Tom had nothing to do with the weather, I couldn't help but feel that with the most beautiful fall day I'd ever seen, Tom has an in with Mother Nature. The shoot went flawlessly. He worked great with usually difficult kids and I could tell they felt at ease. My kids are into cosplay, where they like to dress up as their favorite characters. They loved that Tom incorporated their costumes into the shoot and couldn't wait for the pictures. And what pictures they were. I've never seen my kids look so good. The shots were classy, true and fun. I am more than pleased with the results and they were a big hit with everyone who got one. Tom uses an easy method for getting you your pics. He sets up a web page where you can view all shots and order them however you wish ( mugs, cards, photos, digital, etc) . With one click, a picture will be in your hands within hours. The overall experience with Tom, was one that I can't say enough good things about. If you have the need for such services and you are in the greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area ( or even beyond- it's worth it) make sure you check Tom out. He even made me look good...and that's saying something.

We were assigned Reena and Roderick as our main photographer and videographer, and Ben and Tuck as the secondary photographer and videographer. They gave such clear direction to ensure the photos came out the way we wanted. All 4 of them were respectful, professional and very accommodating. We had an extensive list of photo combinations we wanted with the bridal party, our parents, wedding sponsors, and extended family and the Dean Michaels team managed to capture every single moment. I'd ask Reena last minute if we could take pictures at different locations and she would be so accommodating and the photos came out perfect. We are so glad we went with Dean Michaels. It's always tough picking through hundreds of wedding photo companies but my wife and I really liked the style of Dean Michaels which provided a good mix of dramatic and traditional photos without being too over the top. We highly recommend Dean Michaels if you're undecided who to go with for your wedding or any other events!
