Bad Ethical Patient Practices disqualifies this doctor as a good choice for a primary care Physician.
After choosing this doctor as my primary care physician years ago when he was with Northwest Allied Physicians, I contacted this office to request confirmation he was actually at this office and find out the earliest appointment availability. The receptionist informed me that since he was with this new healthcare "group" I would have to be considered a "NEW" patient and the next available appointment was 2 months away. As I had a healthcare issue which would likely need to be addressed within a week (something one gets a primary physician for in the first place instead of going to the ER...) this was totally unacceptable.
Choosing this doctor as a primary care physician in order to achieve "continuity-of-care" proved to be a BIG mistake as I, a patient of his, am NOT a patient of his because of the patient mismanagement practices at his current location/group. As I see it, he doesn't deserve anything more than TRANSIENT patients if he is unwilling or incapable of overcoming the bureaucratic obstacles this medical "group" presents. read more
