Horrible experience. The Dentist did not listen, rushed conversation and very pushy. I wish I would have known the correct questions to ask, unfortunately i trusted him and now see its about the money. My teeth look horrible, uneven and larger than the original (bugs bunny looking) color does not match my other teeth. I had two other dentist look at his work and both said it was sloppy and cheap materials. I need to pay (again) out of my pocket in order to have them fixed. Also, The office is filthy! Dr Bishay worked on a patient, called me in and did not clean up after the other patient. I asked them to clean the chair as their was blood and tooth dust everywhere. Dr Bishay laughed and I then found my own cleaning rag and cleaned up before sitting down. I should have just left, but I started the process the week before and crowns were ordered. He has lawsuits and hidden reviews, please do your research. I wish i would have researched deeper prior to going to this dentist. read more

I was recommended to Dr. Peter Bishay by a friend at work. I've always found it difficult to find a dentist, most of my experiences were of being over charged for mediocre work. I am so thankful that I found this doctor. I had a pair of bridges that were drifting apart causing a gap in my front top teeth as well as a cracked root and multiple spots of decay from improperly seated crowns. I was able to have a frank and honest discussion with Dr. Bishay about my concerns and the cost involved. He used top of the line 3D x-rays and scanning tools to get me a smile I never thought I'd have. After my other experiences I know the difference between good work and a doctor just trying to get paid, Dr. Bishay is only interested in good work! The costs involved were more then fair. The only issue I had was that it did take some time for my final bridge to come back from the lab. I was assured that it was because quality takes time and with the final result I received I will absolutely agree that it was worth every minute of the wait. Went to the Temecula Office. It was a little tricky finding the address since it has changed - its not on Old Town Front St anymore and has moved to 41715 Winchester Rd, #207. They were helpful on the phone finding the new location. For future reference suggested to search "Temecula Dental Spa". Nice staff and pleasant Feng Shui in the office. Need a root canal done which is quite nerve wracking, good bedside manner and relaxing environment in a nice clean professional location. Hope it goes well. Do yourself a favor and review the decisions issued against him by the Dental Board of CA. His license number is 51230 . Review them to see the gross negligence and the insurance fraud he committed; then decide for yourself. He was in probation for 5 years and he continued to act with negligence and defraud the insurance. In November 2016, his probation was extended for additional five years. I am one of the people affected by his negligence and fraud and wish no one goes through what we went through. read more

Used to go to this dentist all throughout my childhood except I got to go to the two terrible locations in Temecula to get cleanings, braces etc. and from what I remember this man was not friendly at all. Only good thing I remember I got out this place was him helping my jaw problem. Staff was nice but the dentist in general had no real patient care. All Peter Bishay cared for was $. Also got my bottom wisdom teeth taken out here and the man only took cash because he did not take my insurance and I remember my mother handing him the money expecting him to count it back to her (she does not speak english btw) and he did not ! He even snagged an extra $20 that he owed us back ! I stopped going to him once I turned 18 and went to a much better dental group and now I'm 21 left with dental problems, even had to get a rct because this place never diagnosed any problems, also got malocclusion from having braces done with this one doctor he used to bring in which he did a terrible job (I now have a second round of braces at a better place), some bone resorption. I hope nobody thinks my dental problems are my fault I was always consistent with my cleanings checkups etc I'm just grown enough now to know the difference of a good Dr who properly diagnoses vs one who cares about $. This place is just not it and this man should not be doing any work anymore. There's so much more I could add I just don't want to make this even more longer but overall save your time and money ! wish my parents had never brought me here from the start. read more

I have not been lucky to find a good dentist until my daughter-in-law recommended Dr. Bishay. I have a 4-unit bridge in my upper right from my molars that kept on falling (made by another dentist) and another 4-unit bridge in my upper left from my molars. My first encounter with Dr. Bishay was very pleasant because he took an xray of my full teeth and suggested 2 sets of dentures to cover my bridges and my front teeth. The price was very reasonable and affordable. After 2 weeks, the completed set were beautiful, fit perfectly and brought back my beautiful smile. All work were done by Dr. Bishay. Well I thought everything was fine. I usually research these kind of places before making an appointment. But last week i went in to have him give me a referal so that i could see a oral surgeon so that i could see another dentist that could perform a few implants and put in snap-in-dentures. Well when i got there he said he couldn't give me a referal and said why would i need a oral surgeon that he could do the extractions instead. I said okay i guess that would be fine. While im waiting to be seen, the doctor is sitting in the receptionist spot directly facing me, caring on a conversation with a patient and out loud he is telling them to be asured that he understands they are having a problem with their dental work he had just done. Hmmmm. I thought that was pretty rediculous. Then he was rough with my mouth when he did impressions. He insisted this dentist that was going to do my dentures didnt need to be hired and that I should use him for everything....extractions...implants...dentuses and all. Told him i would think about it. Also while i was waiting a young man about 21 years of age came out and he told the dentist.."you better bill Medi-cal quickly for this, I've already started my job and they are going to cut me off soon". Isnt it standard that once you have your first day of work, the government no longer covers you under "free" insurance that some of us recieve? Anyways, that was strange. But as im out the door to see them for the second time today, I rold myself i should do research. And low and behold there my prayers have been answered. Ill be reporting them to Medi-cal and postimg my experience here. Im ashamed that Medi-cal referred me to these people. Look at their reviews. Ha ha ha ha...im going back to edit my review here. It seems the office help and the dentist are thoroughly focused on their yelp reviews. So much that they probably arent even doing their job right. Minutes after posting this their office told me to not come back to them in a text. Ha ha ha. I said but why is it you resolve in severing the relationship? If you werent half guilty your message to me should be something like..."please let us prove that we are good relaible dentists here, we promose to do a good job". Not screw you, don't come back. I saw Dr. Bishay a few times because he was very convenient to my job. His office staff was friendly and they were courteous and flexible with appointment times. I found the rates to be very affordable. I did Zoom whitening there for only $200 with great results. I came in for a 6 month checkup a little early because it was a week before my wedding. My insurance company wanted to me to pay an additional fee for that, but the office waived my fee. I think he's a great choice for anyone working at St. Joes or in that area. read more

I went to him because my HMO insurance assigned me to his office. I had a fractured teeth which could be a candidate for inplant ( I learned later- when it was too late) Instead he pushed on bridge option which was covered partially by insurance and I paid the rest. In addition he insisted that he needs to change an existing crown which I admit it didn't look great but was there for many years. I had many problem with the new crown. It kept falling and finally he set it with a paste he claimed that he recently purchased in a seminar he participated. Long story short. The crown came off again and with it part of the root canal post. Now new treatment will cost me $3000. Of course I am using a different office. I know with HMO you may not have many options but take your time and look around. There are good, caring and responsible doctors around. read more

He intentionally grabbed a tooth and tried to pry it loose because I only wanted a cleaning as I was paying cash and was not prepared to pay the $800 deep cleaning price or crown work on a back tooth. Then a few years ago I contracted cancer and the chemo treatment with followup medicines took a toll on my teeth. I really thought I was going to lose most of my teeth or that they will not be able to restore them or my appearance. I recently called Dr. Bihay's Orange office in despair, he saw me promptly, he acted very quickly in identifying how he would restore my teeth to a satisfactory condition. He went out of his way to redo all of my teeth which were affected until he thought they fit my jaw and structure to get back functional teeth and to get back my smile. Dr. Bishay, is an excellent dentist. I took my wife for a severe tooth ache. My wife was terrified from a childhood experience with a dentist that over used anesthesia and she lost about 9 teeth. Dr. Bishay snd his assistant were incredible. He took care my wife pain and rebuilt a dental bridge for a reasonable price. After the root canal procedure he was checking on my wife after hours. I recently switched dentists and saw Dr. Bishay last week for my first visit. I got a cleaning and was in and out in 40 minutes(!), which included the new patient paperwork. His assistants were very friendly and he said the magic words "you don't have any cavities". My biggest pet peeve with dentists is upselling (braces? whitening?). There was none of that here.
