I was in the market to look for a new firm. The initial consultation was great, I spoke with Kim and she answered all of the questions that I had. Throughout the entire process of being onboarding and completing my Tax Documents, it was seamless. The person assigned to handle my taxes (Grace) reached out to me if they had any questions before proceeding. She even explained additional things that my previous CPA did not even advise. This team is very knowledgeable and helps make sure everything is done correct. Even the pricing was thoroughly explained and honestly it was money well spent. As a small business owner, I appreciate the teams transparency and attention to detail. I am looking forward to continuing my partnership with this firm. I highly recommend this team. read more

After losing my father, I was completely lost with my finances. Peter and Kim from Peter Burgos CPA went above and beyond to help me through it with genuine kindness and patience. As a first responder with a crazy schedule, they always worked around me, and that meant a lot. I shopped around before finding them, and no one came close. Truly grateful for their compassion and professionalism -- they treated me like family. read more

I can't say enough GREAT things about the Peter Burgos office. Peter is amazing, helped me with a complicated tax issue several years ago and I've been a happy and loyal client ever since. My family has been with Kim for decades. I used to go with my mother and father as a child and now as an adult I continue to do my Taxes with her. Even after my parents are gone she continues to take care of me and my Taxes. As an adult, I formed my business with Peter's help. He is not only professional but down to Earth, Empathetic and not Judgmental. Taxes are something that can be so stressful but the office makes it so comfortable to do my personal and business taxes here. Kim stops at nothing to be helpful. If you have an issues you know that she will be timely, professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. It almost sounds unreal but that's the greatness of Kim and Peter. You are in good hands here. read more

If you are looking for a team to help you with your taxes and financial planning LOOK NO FURTHER. I had never worked with any accounting professionals prior and after looking at the 5-star reviews for Peter and his team on Yelp, I knew I had to contact them immediately. I wrote a letter via their website about my quite urgent situation and Kim called me the same day to take on the task. Talk about miracle workers sent from heaven! For someone who had known virtually zilch about taxes (no thanks to the US school system) and naively used Turbo Tax to file the past few years (which ultimately backfired), I have felt nothing but calm and reassured throughout the entire process. The level of professionalism but also kindness and understanding from Kim, Peter, Nicole, and his entire team is above and beyond. Kim, who I communicated with the most, was exceptionally clear about each step and patient when I had questions to ask. What could have been just another business transaction between office and client, actually really felt the opposite--I felt taken care of in the most thoughtful ways possible. All in all, there is no doubt I will continue to work with this amazing team and I highly recommend anyone with tax/financial needs to do the same! read more

Everyone here is professional and knowledgeable. Mr. Burgos offered advice (gratis) on an issue that I didn't even know what questions to ask. He and staff are honorable. After working with Peter, the only thing that you might regret is not finding him sooner. read more

I created a Yelp account just to leave a review of the fabulous service I received from the team at Peter Burgos's office. They are responsive, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Peter himself is intelligent and well-spoken. The office is clean and well-organized, and each employee I interacted with seemed happy to be at their job and confident in the work they were doing. I must leave a special shout-out to Kim! She personally walked me step-by-step through the filing process, and you honestly couldn't find a more lovely person to guide you. She is reassuring and practical, with a wonderful sense of humor. Not to mention, a true expert! I am thrilled to have had her assist me and I look forward to working with her again in the future. I love Peter. Peter and Kim have been life savers for me. When it comes to the IRS it can feel unnerving. Kim always puts me at ease and is just an incredible human being. In addition to preparing my taxes, Peter helped me work out a payment plan with the IRS that saved my life. Their fees are fair and reasonable. We recently used the office of Peter Burgos, CPA to file our 2013 taxes. This was our first time using their services and we were able to get in for an appointment and set up as new customers quickly. Each member of the staff here was friendly and very professional. We needed to file an extension, and that was handled easily and professionally. We later returned to have our taxes filed and met with Peter himself. He was very helpful, thorough, and offered advice for next year. Overall we were very impressed by the services here and will return. read more

My family has been using Peter's accounting services for years, and we could not be more pleased with the professionalism and knowledge that Peter brings to his business. Both Peter, and his incredibly capable and diligent assistant, Kim have provided me with advice, answers and helpful tips on estate, tax and business accounting, in addition to preparing personal and corporate tax filings. First time I used a tax preparation service as last year's situation got a bit complicated with several states + income sources. I asked several friends for suggestions, and called quite a few CPAs in the NYC area. Some of the other firms were very unfriendly, and didn't want my extra business because this was in late March/early April, and they had a lot of other things on their hands. Peter Burgos and Kim Hutchinson, however, were especially nice and very understanding. Great customer service, and all of this over the phone/e-mail too to make it easy for me. Kim updated me throughout the process and really made me feel like a long-time client, the utmost professional and excellent customer service. They even sent me all the forms with stickies, indicating where to sign, envelopes filled out with the destination addresses, all things considered! Awesome service and I could not have been happier with what is a very personal and possibly nerve-wrecking process that is tax filing. I appreciate Kim, Peter, and the rest of the team's courteous help, and would recommend them to all my friends! read more

Miracle workers. I brought them three years of disorganized tax documents, and they treated me with the utmost friendliness, respect, and professionalism while spinning my straw into golden tax returns. Kim is patient as a saint and somehow manages to always make me feel welcome even when life gets in the way. Her decades of experience show clearly in her work. Come to this firm when you need the best. read more
