Unfortunately the motorcycle display was underrepresented (next time go ask the A&S BMW folks to bring their collection and friends also) The only downside was the ribs. A half rack of 6 ribs cost $12 which would be o-kay if they were beef ribs but these are tiny pork ribs. Its a bit pricey but then, I don't eat ribs out much so I treated the kids and we enjoyed it anyway. Also LOVED the kids play area.

I got an opportunity to wander around the rib-fest, and despite the grey skies people were having a wonderful time. There were 5 rib vendors and wish there were more, for a rib festival I expected a few more vendors, but Lincoln is not a big metropolis and the ribs that were coming out of the smokers were tasty. Unfortunately, the most popular one (or at least the one with the biggest line and hype), seemed to have misjudged the crowd and there no racks comin' off the smoke and a 20-30 minute back log so we moved on. We went to another green-tented place and got an order of spare ribs and a side of beans for $7...an extreme value considering the heft of these spare ribs and the amount of fatty (in a good way) meat. These ribs had a wonderful smoke ring, as well as a nice char from finishing on the grill. The beans were run-of-the mill Sysco-style. They could have used more of everything, but weren't bad as a palatte clenser between mouthfuls of meat. In addition to the rib joints, were hot dog vendors, beer tents, animal shelters, solar companies, electric car dealerships, and a myriad of other crafts and booths hawking their wares. They also had the "classic" classic car show and great line up of local bands... Awesome. I have been spending more time in Lincoln recently and the town likes to show off their classic cars and music. Considering this festival is put on in a smaller town (approximately 40K people), and the junky weather, there was a terrific turn out. If you are in (or near) Lincoln next year and feel like escaping to a time where everyone in town knows each other, pack the wetnaps, grab the wife, kids, dogs, and anyone/thing else you think might like this event and hit up Lincoln for some truly, "All-American" fun at the Rib Festival.

15th May, 2026, Norah Jones concert…read more It's a very nice *venue* for a Norah Jones concert, not too big but not too small, either. Her voice reverberated perfectly, her skills on the piano and guitars were exceptionally impressive, her band had good chemistry with her. For a packed arena, the climate was just right. The cocktails we bought inside need a little work, the staff members we encountered were all friendly, polite, respectful and friendly. The only problem we had, we as in us and the people nearby, were this two women who probably only knew and appreciated a few of Ms. Jones' songs. They were talkative and loud about it, if they didn't know the song that was being sung, they talked yelling at one another, went to their smartphones to check on whatever it was that was more important than the show, and was just lacking in the event's etiquette. There was a lady in front of them that looked behind her a few times and I can tell by her face that she was clearly annoyed. Along came staff and nicely told the ladies to be more respectful to the other people. I give the staff thumbs up for this because the two could have been escorted out without warning. I noticed that there were no restrooms nearby. The closest ones are in the lobby. It'd be too far for less mobile people. The restrooms were immaculately clean. I liked the overall experience and I believe that if there's another performer we'd like to see, we wouldn't hesitate to be there.

Nice indoor concert venue and there isn't really a bad seat even up at the second level or balcony. Seated at floor level section 101 so I had a cool close view of the stage and performers. Audio at this Freestyle concert was a bit off as they had the bass cranked up at a high level. I understand they want the audience to feel the bass but it was just too high. Compared to the Janet Jackson concert, her sound manager did a great job. Still it was a fun concert with several performers. Sweet Sensation (Betty Dee solo) Lisette Melendez George Lamond Cynthia Johnny O Lisa Lisa Stevie B I was very disappointed Will To Power was a scratch booooo There were plenty of staff guiding guests to seat locations as well as security to keep me in check LMAO j/k Cost for alcoholic drinks was standard. The bartenders were pretty cool played along with the jokes haha A couple of ladies seating next to me were cool too, yelling hella loud, dancing and good conversations (filthier minds than me hahaha). Then after the concert hungout at the casino for a lil bit played slot machines and at blackjack table. Until the next concert.

Our kids favorite is the black hawk helicopter. Music is amazing too, very family friendly atmosphere and best of all it's a Christian event. Absolutely Unacceptable Security Staff…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been coming to celebrate america for years and I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had. thanks entirely to the security team at this location. From the moment we arrived, the security guard was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of creating a safe and welcoming environment, they acted like they were on a power trip. I understand that security has a job to do, but there's a massive difference between enforcing rules and straight-up disrespecting customers. The way they spoke to me and my friends was totally out of line--condescending, dismissive, and downright hostile. We were polite, followed instructions, and still got treated like a problem just for existing. This experience completely soured the night for us. Management really needs to rethink who they're putting at the front line to represent their business, because this security team is driving customers away. I won't be coming back, and I'll be telling others to avoid this place, too. Thank you so much to Security Staff member Lamar

I didn't like the long drive to park or the $25 parking charge. The business demands profit right from the start. There were bundle deals for a few attractions if you liked the combo provided, but changing the combo was not an option. I did appreciate that some of the attractions can be purchased individually. The dinosaur statues set this farm apart from the others and makes it feel prehistorically cool. The food trucks can be expensive but tasty, there were picnic tables to sit, convenient and comfortable.

We were going through the ultimate side with another family, and a little girl from their group started to feel a little nauseous. The nice man with the chainsaw noticed and walked her around to escort her out while still not breaking character for the rest of the group. Big kudos for that. I find it so so smart to have the setup that they do in regards to the first and second maze. The first maze is defining family friendly, no jump scares, a lot of cute spooky stops for the kids throughout the maze. Then if you upgrade to the ultimate side, you get to enjoy the jump scares with a bunch of murderers. So well done. They are even so great at guiding groups who may get a little confused on where to go (like us lol) without breaking character. Just an overall fun place to be. They also have a tower for an employee to watch over the maze for safety reasons or if anyone strays from the group and may get a little lost. We went during the daytime which was very very fun but I would totally recommend going at night if you're looking for that elevated scare factor because I bet that maze in the dark is exceptionally spooky lol. I wish we explored more of the other things they had out for people to do. Like, the games and prizes. I think they said something about a free movie at night that they project with popcorn. They also had a petting area for the goats. Overall such a great time. My kids have been begging me for hours to go back. Will probably do a night run sometime before Halloween and will definitely come back next year.

Plusplus if you like when they avoid eye contact as they walk by with no sense of urgency, man that was awesome. I've never been ignored so hard in my life, oooh wee. Oooh I especially loved the drunk woman flopping all over the place in wet, see-thru white shorts with no underwear/swim bottoms on. It was really cool when she began making out with her girlfriend while they sat in between each other's legs/on laps. My favorite part was when their boyfriend showed up and joined them. All three of them rubbing and kissing. Then into the pool they went and the underwater petting began. It was great. Who knew Thunder was so open to community-led sex ed! The many kids with front row seats certainly enjoyed it! Bar and food is decent, so I added a star, ooh wee!

We saw several waitresses going to all the cabanas and the loungers throughout the day. Can you guess how many times we were visited by a waitress in the 9 hours we were there? Zero! I didn't know if I should feel it was racism or what but we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar or from the kitchen. We had to get up each time and walk to the bar ourselves. I also ordered from the kitchen and we had to get up and go to the bar and pick it up ourselves. There were delivery guys who would deliver food from the kitchen to other patrons but when it came to us, we had to do it all ourselves. I'm not sure how to feel about the entire situation. Everything else was great but the whole experience put a huge damper on things.

Tomorrow evening I am very excited to attend their summer production of Disney's The Little Mermaid! They cast fairly and they cast talented kids, teens, and adults for parts, depending on the show. There is an emphasis on quality and professionalism, but also on fun, learning, and inclusiveness. I just LOVE that about McLaughlin Studios! Not only do they do full Main Stage Productions at McLaughlin, but they also offer Junior Musical Programs and Mini Musical Production Workshops for all ages. The owners have been in business for decades and have a very extensive resume to boot. They like to give back in a phenomenal way, and often you will find fundraisers and local vendors when you visit for shows. I love coming to shows at McLaughlin and supporting the Loomis Community! A note about parking: It will fill up if you do not arrive early for theatrical productions! There is plenty of street parking on Swetzer Road if this happens.

This is a $50 sign up fee and $45 per lesson. I took my daughter for the first time Thursday. She seemed to have a great time. I spoke to the young lady behind the counter about payment, and she said she would send me an invoice and scheduled our next six lessons. All went well until I walked out the door, got into my car and out runs a woman, yelling, and running to my car about a payment, I was mortified. I've never been chased out to my car before. It made me feel like I was in the wrong like I was trying to scam a free lesson. Who does that?. She said the young lady behind the counter was incorrect and they need to collect payment. So I unloaded my daughter from car in over 100° heat came back in and paid $130 which was payment of the sign up fee and the first two lessons even though we have not had the second lesson yet. I almost just paid for the lesson that day and found another place because of this incident, and how embarrassing it was. I mean, she could've just let it go as a young woman behind the counter made a mistake and sent me the invoice. I'll be back for her next lessons that we have scheduled and I'm hoping it goes better.
