When I picked him up, I was absolutely horrified. His eyes were bulging, bloodshot, and rolling back in his head. He looked completely out of it it was terrifying. I rushed him to the vet immediately, where I was told he had suffered from asphyxiation. I can't begin to describe how upsetting this has been. I've trusted your team with my little Malshi before and never imagined something like this could happen. I dropped him off believing he would be safe, cared for, and closely watched. But what I picked up was a traumatized, unresponsive puppy who is still, days later, not the same. Since bringing him home on Saturday at 4 PM, he has done nothing but sleep. His eyes can barely open, and he's completely lethargic. It's now Monday at 2:30 PM, and I'm still watching over him, worried sick, hoping he'll be okay. This is not normal and it's absolutely heartbreaking. I need to know how this happened. I need to understand how my puppy could've come so close to such a serious medical emergency under your care. This situation is unacceptable and has caused me and my poor pup an enormous amount of pain, fear, and distress. I'm asking for an immediate and honest response, and for you to take this as seriously as it deserves to be taken. My dog is not just a pet he's family Both groomer and shampoo young lady had absolutely no clue of his state .This place should be shut down the groomer obviously knows what she did to our little angel .I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who has a pet who is family we almost lost ours from being choked while grooming . The owner Pete is a real dog lover and a stand up guy. It was easy to schedule an appointment, plenty of parking out front, and they even confirmed the night before. I love that dogs can socialize with others rather than being locked up in cages like sad prisoners. Groomsville separates the little guys from the big ones for safety. I was so nervous about trying a new place, but when I picked Sam up he looked beautiful and perky. And I was pleasantly surprised that pricing was reasonable and they take credit cards. Before booking they asked for pictures of my dog, the breed, her weight and quoted a price. Upon arrival the groomer wanted $55 mire and stated pricing is at the groomers discretion. Additionally they tried to add back in a $15 fuel surcharge which they did remove. The groomer then said her ears needed to be cleaned and nails done which was not the case as the vet had already did that. Lastly because of the last minute increase, I said to cancel the upgraded treatment, which the groomer claimed was only $10 less when I was quoted a $15 price. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the pricing change and asked the groomer to have the owner call me, but i never heard back. The groomer did do a good job, but I will not return.

My concerns were addressed at the very beginning of each visit and the plan of action was always clearly communicated. To say that the people who work here love dogs is an understatement and it shows from the minute you are greeted at the locked doors (not all groomers do this and it is a huge safety concern!), from the way they interact with the dogs, to their commitment to animal welfare within the community and efforts to educate the public. it is a gift to be able to have Posh Paws and the staff there as a resource for the dogs in my care.
