Not bad it's a pet store I did end up getting I think a Petco card a credit card but it never came in the mail and it's on my credit report so I'm a little uneasy about that but overall they have the right food and the right bones and treats for your dog just a little bit pricey

These are the turtles I had purchased from Dekalb petco

I do not recommend going to Petco in Rockford. I had called on Saturday night and talk with a friendly lady on The phone about Cumberland turtles she said they had 6 in the tank come in and the lady. Would assist me and tell me which one were male. Or female. I had purchased 2 females from the Petco indicao the week prior and wanted to add 1 more turtle with them so Sunday. I woke up and drove 40 minutes to purchase a turtle there and asked Sam which one were male or female? Sam was very rude and said she was not allowed to discuss anything about the turtles with me so I decided to Google it and pick out the turtle I Thought was the one I wanted, I got Sam again and then she asked me what i was gonna do with the turtle i told her i was gonna add it to my fenced in pond outside. She said I was not allowed to purchase a turtle and put it outside. I showed her a picture of my fenced in pond and she was very rude and told me that they would not be selling me a turtle to put outside, But yet they have six turtles and a tiny aquarium. I Had purchased 2 female turtles 2 weeks ago at Petco in Dekalb IL and they were great.

This place is way better now that the heavy, old, grumpy lady no longer works there. Outstanding employees.

I had taken ill and had not been able to continue her training in those two areas. Pete was not to interact with my puppy at his consultation meeting, but he decided to put an over-sized prong collar on her, a leash, and tell her "heel" as if she knew what he wanted. The next thing I knew, Pete had my dog hanging in the air with her twisting her neck, choking and feet dangling. The next day. Pete apologized to me saying that she jumped on him and he thought she was going to bite him so he had to take control. I could accept that had he not lynched her 3 times. It took that long before I got out of the shock of seeing what he was doing to my puppy and spoke up for him to stop. Pete came across arrogant and disrespectful. He didn't ask where he should sit but walked right through my living room to the dining area, sat down at the dining table, and put his "gear" and books on the table where we eat. (Can't un-ring the bell so I didn't ask him to move to the living room.) Overall, I think Pete tried too hard to impress me with his way of taking control. In the alternative, he doesn't know the difference between showing confidence and taking control. Taking control does not require disrespecting the person, their property, and certainly not being cruel to animals. His excuse was that he is new to the business.
