    You can clearly see where they gauged her toe and nail with the buffer.

    Yesterday I posted a review regarding my bad grooming experience at Petco. As you can see the buffer ground the skin off my dog's toe and part of her nail. They responded to my bad review asking me to call. The number they provided for customer service is in the Philippines and they barely speak English. I called the headquarters in San Diego as I was told the matter has been escalated. I have 2 formal complaints in, 2 escalations, and have called everyday since the incident. Still no call from headquarters. I will continue to post until someone in America returns my call. DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!! They hurt my dog and tried to hid it!! I put her in the back seat and drove straight home. There were blood spots all over my white interior. Then the grooming manager denied it happened there, asked why I didn't bring her back. So let me understand, what the grooming manager wanted was for me to put my bleeding dog back in my car and bring her back. Why? They're not vets and they have no veterinary services at this facility. I asked to see the policies and procedures for injured pets and they refused. I'm showing everyone I meet the pictures and advising not to go to petco for grooming, especially nails!!! ______________________________________________________________ UPDATE: Just wanted to note that they responded to this post with the same automated response to call the Philippines! That's not happening! Stop out sourcing your customer service centers. We want to speak to someone in the United State!!! UPDATE: I asked the store manager to see the camera footage because the Grooming Supervisor denied this happened at Petco and he said we don't let customers see the camera footage. So I must ask, why won't they allow you to see the camera footage if the grooming supervisor says it didn't happen there? It would certainly prove whether or not it did!! I'm confident it's on camera, is the grooming supervisor????????

    We adopted Johnny, our Great Dane, from a Florida shelter, knowing he came with some baggage. At…read morejust 180 pounds of pure muscle and anxiety, Johnny had already been given up twice and returned for behavioral concerns. From day one, we noticed he was a unique mix of overly territorial, overly protective, and easily overwhelmed. With strangers, or in chaotic situations, he'd bark, growl, lunge, and snap--not out of aggression, but sheer stress. During one of our first walks, a passing bicycle set him off so much he yanked me clean off my feet, leaving me sprawled out in the dirt, contemplating my life choices. At home, though, he was nothing but sweet--a gentle giant with his family. Desperate for help, we turned to TM Canine Services. Enter Tyler--the dog whisperer, the miracle worker, and Johnny's future bromance. Our journey didn't exactly start smoothly. At the very first class, Tyler approached us and suggested a better collar for Johnny. As I got Johnny into the car to swap it out, he went full chaos mode--snapping at Tyler and then at me. I was shaken and unsure if I should stay or go. Tyler reassured me, encouraging us to stay and observe, only interacting as I felt comfortable. Despite how rattled I was, I decided to stick it out--and I'm so glad I did. I needed to build my confidence, and Johnny desperately needed the experience. It became clear group classes were too overwhelming for Johnny, so we switched to private lessons. Slowly but surely, progress happened. Tyler's patient, no-nonsense approach, combined with his kindness and deep knowledge of dogs, worked wonders. Eventually, Johnny graduated back into group classes, where he added his own flair--like sitting down to spin in circles or flopping like a fish out of water on his back when he got bored.
