Pet Peeves Dog Training - Pet Peeves trained my German Shepherds, I recommend them highly. - Pet Training Near Me - Bunnell, Florida

Lauren is an incredible trainer. My 100 lb rescued lab mix had no leash skills and would pull my arm to the point it was dangerous for us to walk him. Lauren taught us how to train Darby so he listens to commands ensuring a safe experience. Lauren understands the dog behavior and adapts the training to the individual dog and owners. She understands that the owner needs to develop the skills so both your dog and you will continue to become a better team. Darby is 3 yrs old and I thought he would be difficult to train but Lauren changed our lives. THANK YOU Lauren! read more

Lauren is AMAZING! We rescued our senior pup back in January. She had a few issues--the worst being she wouldn't stop barking at strangers and trying to nip them. Other than that, she was and still is the biggest love. Lauren not only got her to stop that behavior, but also got her to accomplish some basic and not so basic commands: stay, place, come, eyes. Lauren showers Mochi with lots of love in between sessions (Mochi is there on the 5 week daily training program; and she teaches my husband and me how to teach Mochi--consistency!). I can't say enough good things about Lauren and Pet Peeves. read more

I'm so glad we connected with Lauren -- she was able to coach us through some rough patches and give us sound, doable training advice that helped tremendously with our 2 year old loving, but rambunctious Bouvier des Flandres. After evaluating our "baby", she quickly saw areas that needed improvement and showed us, by example, how to get the results we wanted. Specifically -- our dog would pull while on our walks (I was even afraid he would pull me off my feet if we came upon a squirrel!) -- now he's walking perfectly by my side, attention on me. He gets complimented by strangers all the time on "what a good boy he is"! Another example -- we haven't been able to break him of his bad habit of chasing our cat (poor kitty spends most of her day hiding from him!) -- but after just one session with Lauren, we've already seen a marked improvement in his "cattitude"! Lauren was very quick to make sure we knew we could contact her ANYTIME with questions or for more training tips. I'm sure we'll see her again in the future -- when Ducky needs a little training tune-up! read more

Best choice we made. We recently acquired a 2.5 year old rescue. After several weeks, his true behavior appeared - excessive barking, aggression, and occasional potty in our bed. This was getting out of hand and we had to make a choice - get rid of him or get help. We chose the latter and contacted Lauren. She worked with us pointing out how to control his bad habits. She is fantastic with Oliver and her knowledge is outstanding. After 4 sessions, his bad habits are coming under control. All thanks to Lauren. We highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for help with their pet! Joan & Van Seagraves read more

My dogs behavior changed dramatically! So many people noticed- this was the best thing we could do for our puppy'! She is great!

When I first met Lauren, I was in front of the Flagler Humane Society, planning to surrender my dog Johnny back to the shelter. When Johnny saw Lauren, he was ecstatic, recognizing her from her working with him in the shelter before he was adopted out the first time. She laughed when he jumped up on her and wanted to know his name. I said, "Johnny," but she said, "No, his other name." Well, it was Boo. It wasn't but an instant until I was in tears again because I had become quite attached to Johnny during the 5 months I had him. He was so strong, had pulled the leash out of my hand and dragged me to the ground multiple times, and showed aggression to my family and their friends and their animals. That morning I had just met with a trainer who told me he could rehabilitate Johnny from his aggressive behavior but it would cost me $3500. This after having spent over $1500 already in training and vet bills. I was at my wits end. Lauren was so glad to see Johnny Boo Boo, and she saw so much potential in him that, on the spot, she asked me not to return him to the shelter. She told me she was a trainer and promised me that she would help me learn to manage him, to work with him and me as long as necessary to allow me to keep him and not charge me one dime. I agreed to try. She came the next day for our first session. In spite of Johnny being so excited to see her, she was able to help me make great strides with him. I was so amazed that she not only was able to get him to perform the commands she gave, but was able to teach me how to get him to perform those commands myself. I had most of the equipment I needed but didn't know how to use it. He had gotten out of a prong collar earlier this week. She told me it was too loose and fitted it to his neck. Then she gave me a safety collar to use with it to make sure he didn't get loose. I had bought a shock collar, but didn't know how to operate it. She familiarized herself with the model then proceeded to teach me how to use it in a humane and effective way to help bring Johnny under my authority. We are set to meet again tomorrow, and I am so excited. I have been practicing 3 commands with Johnny and anxious to make even more progress. It is so obvious in working with Lauren in just one session that she loves the animals and owners she works with and loves her work. In just the one session with Johnny, it was like he was a different dog. Thank you, Lauren, for helping Johnny stay with his sister Frankie and me, and for us to be a family. read more

We had a great experience with Lauren. She was masterful with our dominant rottweiler, and was able to teach us how to manage him with our small children. Her ongoing support has been invaluable. She has a genuine love of the animals she works with. read more

Lauren is fantastic! She is the owner of the company and is incredibly passionate and well versed on dogs and their training. She trained my husband's service dog to help with his PTSD sustained from war. She goes above and meeting for her clients. She even came to our house to give my husband's service dog a few extra lessons as needed. She continues to be our first call if even our dog appears sick or injured for some reason (not often, but it has happened). We are so blessed that she has been apart of our life and remains so! read more
