Brought my cane corso to get a bath short hair XL, When I booked online the totals came up to $60 something when I checked in I ended up adding "essentials" now the total was gonna be $75.99 but when I came back for my puppy they said the total was $86.99 without taxes ! It's true when they say they'll charge you extra feeds if you don't pay attention to your bill, My dog still has bunch of dirt on him doesn't smell like he just got a fresh groom and ended paying $80 for nothing, they took down "$2.99" for the inconvenience. read more

The grooming department in this PETCO in North Little Rock, AR is terrible. Kristen Westmoreland, a groomer there, tried to overcharge me BEFORE grooming my dog (who's groomed every 30-45 days). When I refused to agree to the over charge, and asked for my dog back, BEFORE he was ever groomed, she blocked the door and demanded I gave her the sheet with the overcharges on it. I refused to return the sheet of paper (she could've easily printed another one) mainly because I was going to email it to PETCO corporate and file a complaint. If she was over charging me, I was pretty sure she has done it before, and I told her that. She comes from behind the counter and blocked the door to prevent me from exiting without returning the sheet of paper. When I tried to squeeze through the door to leave, she shouldered me, as if she was attempting to initiate a physical altercation. IT WAS CRAZY. I didn't get my dog groomed. I didn't owe anyone anything. I simply wanted to leave and report the incident to PETCO corporate. I physically had to push and squeeze my way past her to get myself and my dog out of the store. I've never had anything so terrifying happen in my life. I called the police and am following through with my complaint with Petco corporate. NO ONE should have an experience like this. OK, so I bought a beta fish a while back from here let me just say there were beta fish with broken torso. There were beta fish who were dead with yellow water I could tell that they were feeding the beta fish right and the service was terrible whenever I walked around away from the fish, I saw a dead mouse in its cage. read more

I'm writing about Petco's online presence rather than the performance of their individual locations. I had purchased a pet fountain from them: With filters and shipping, the invoice came to very nearly $100. Not cheap. The fountain stopped functioning within two months, despite my maintaining it exactly as advised. Their customer service offered apologies, but wouldn't help--their policy is 30 days, and that's that. Reached out to the manufacturer who offered a solution within five minutes. Given how many customer-oriented pet supply companies are out there these days, I see no reason to continue my long-term relationship with this one. read more

I got my dog groomed everything is was great. While I was waiting I had the chance to walk around just to kill time. I looked at the fish and every single fish tank there was at least two dead fish one had 5 dead fish. That's is nasty. The store was messy in the dog food sections. I also tried to buy chicken broth for my dogs food and they were EXPIRED SEPTEMBER 2021!!!! All the flavors were expired by 2021 July..... that's terrible. Do better. read more

Clean facility and friendly staff. I have taken my dog here a couple times for nail trimming and other grooming services. They are caring and gentle, better nail trims than Vets I've taken her to! Always a pleasure coming for her visits and of course we talk a walk inside for a special treat! read more

I use to really enjoy coming to this location! However, my thoughts have quickly changed! The woman who's over the fish is very RUDE! Not helpful at all in fact when in the past that she tried to be helpful she gave me all the WRONG INFORMATION & sold me half dead fish that infected my whole tank with ick! Now today when i came to this location i simply asked for information on turning my current tank into a salt water tank..... she started off like it's very expensive OK' ma'am i didn't ask for prices i simply asked what's needed!!! I'm currently still waiting on those answers! None of the workers seem to know much about anything & all the good workers from the past are no longer around! I'll just start taking my business somewhere else it's pointless coming here! read more

They have everything you need here but make sure you do your research on the products you want to buy for your pets because some items are expensive and probably not worth buying (shampoos, treats, etc) lol. My dog had gotten a bath last week which means his hair was previously combed when I picked him up after this grooming he was completely shaved because he was allegedly matted. The cut looked like it had been done w/ kindergartner scissors as it was so uneven. I was also told my dog was aggressive and biting her while being combed, had yeast in his ears and that he needed to be groomed "more often" because he was uncomfortable. He has never bitten anyone and loves getting groomed and has been groomed every 8 weeks for 5 years and have never had that comment. Allegedly the previous groomer annotated the same thing but I wasn't told. He weighed more this time so the overall total was 100. I noticed how badly he was scratching so with a potential ear infection and severe itching I made an appt at the vet. ANother 100 later I was told he indeed had an ear infection (which he didnt have before the groom) and inflamed skin. She said he was probably uncomfortable because the shampoo plus the combing may have irritated his skin. He also had a sore on his tail that he has been picking at. Needless to say I will not be back since he has had more problems since the grooming than before. read more

Our daughter was in town with our "granddog" & we came in to get some new dog toys. While we were there, we visited the grooming salon to get his nails trimmed. Kristen L did an exceptional job with her dog and was very gentle and talked him through it. Superb job! Thanks! read more

Horrible Customer Service from Manager Mary I buy a lot of products from this store. Tonight I tried to point out to the manager on duty that they shelving for cat food has been a problem for several months and that I had to open the boxes or plastic myself to get the product. She started laughing at me, was extremely condescending and rude. It's your job to merchandise product so that its easier for customers to purchase. I could easily hurt myself, cut myself or any number of things by unpacking the merchandise myself. She said that normally people buy in bulk, which was a complete lie, that product hasn't moved much, I shop there weekly. It hasn't moved because its sitting there in a box, not priced as a box but priced as individual cans. I left my purchase on the counter and don't plan on being back. I'm sure I seemed spoiled to her which is why she was laughing, but people like her are why I shop from Amazon mostly. They sell pet food. After that terrible encounter at your store, I opened my email from Amazon, where I had returned something and they were late sending the credit through, so they doubled the refund. That's customer service. Just thought you should know. I tried to post this review on Petco's customer service website but PETCO staff rejected it. Evidently they don't like it when you complain. read more

The grooming staff is friendly, however, my dog has been knicked the last two times I brought him. The last haircut was mediocre with obvious razor lines and an uneven cut with larger chunks missing. read more
