While I have seen a number of veterinarians there, Dr. Sonya is my dogs PCP. She is the best. She knows her stuff, but more importantly, she loves animals. The love at Pinnacle Valley shows throughout the place. It isn't just Dr. Sonya but the entire staff there is firing on all cylinders. They are really kind people. You know when someone is an animal lover. It is a calling. That is definitely true of Dr. Sonya. The kindness Dr. Sonya and her staff have shown me in recent weeks while we were dealing with a dearly loved pet with a terminal illness was so appreciated and so meaningful to us, I cannot adequately describe how much it meant to my family and to me personally. I have a Havanese puppy and I took her to a different groomer. the next weekend we went camping…read moreand my poor puppy had knots on top of knots from his halter. I made an appointment with the same groomer as before. Waited 1 week for this appointment, got there with my boy and was told they would have to reschedule because it would take longer than she had left time for. I tried two different groomers who did not return my call. I went to Neighborhood Pet Shoppe and told the groomer, Shanyn, there what had happened with the previous groomers. She was very sweet and understanding. I told her how the knots were getting bigger from the camping trip.(It was the undergrowth of hair and no matter how I tried I could not get the knots out.) She told me she could make an appointment in 3 weeks. I booked the appointment. She texted me Saturday the day of the appointment told me she had a family emergency, Ok I'm good with that! Texted back and asked if I would have to wait another 3 weeks. She asked if I could come in that Monday. She even said she would give a 10 percent off for the inconvenience. I told her no need for that I was just glad he was going to be done Monday. At this point, I asked my husband why I had to wait 3 weeks when she fit me in the next day they were open. now I know why!!! I truly believe she never had intensions of grooming my dog that day. I got there and she said she could not do my dog that day. He probably would have to be sedated. She made me feel like an inadequate dog owner. She asked if I ever brushed my dog or bathed him. Very rude questions. She was told everything upfront including how bad the knots were. This is the problem nowadays, people do not know their place!! She maybe very good at grooming (I will never know because I will never go back to her) But her customer service is horrible!!! I will spread the word!! Long story not so short, I went to another groomer that day, showed them my boy and he will be groomed Wednesday!!! It has been almost a month and a half since this all started.

My two lab 'babies' lol, have only gotten to go on their second visit, as we just found Kamp K-9…read morelast month, but they both 'dance' and get excited when asked if they want to go get 'pretty' and have a 'bath'. They met a new groomer today and she was so patient with them. They smelled 'beautiful, and their nails were painted so pretty. The girls always look forward to their next visit. It's a treat for them :) And always a treat for me to see them 'prissing' around, feeling good :)
