Love to bring my dog Lulu. We check out all the clothes, toys and snacks. I've only used the groomer once, great experience.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because the store is a good store to shop at. The reason for only 3 stars is because their pet trainer doesn't return messages regarding classes to train my puppy. She gave me her number and told me to text her when I had a date decided and now, going on 6 days, that trainer still hasn't returned my message. I WILL NOT, nor do I recommend taking your dog there for training. Any trainer that won't return messages, per her instructions, is not the place to take your dog to get trained. read more

Be aware cannot provide services within 48 hours of vaccination. I called and they informed me vaccinations were expired. I told them that he just got vaccinated just leaving vet now. They said ok come in. When I arrived driving 20 miles they said they could do nothing. Furthermore the lady I spoke with tried to cya and denied we had that conversation just 30 minutes before I arrived! They did offer upgrade to services what a waste of time! read more

UPDATE! June/July 2017. I posted the below review 2 YEARS AGO. I randomly received a very disturbing message via Yelp Messages from a "PAUL R." You got that right folks, the Paul mentioned in my review I wrote OVER 2 YEARS AGO. The message from the awesome FORMER EMPLOYEE of PETSMART in NLR, AR (Yes, you were fired! I wonder why) said "You're a C**t!" (You can fill in the blanks of the disgusting word said to me) How nice right? Well I took matters into my own hands and contacted corporate and the store manager of that location contacted me and apologized and fixed the situation and sent it to legal. Not much they can really do I'm sure. The manager was even upset because it's making his place look bad and this person doesn't even work there anymore. He hasn't worked there in over a year and a half according to this store manager. He told me the Awesome Paul R. was let go (didn't quit) from Petsmart. LOL All I could do is laugh. Who joins yelp in 2017, and then trolls your old employer you were fired from to read reviews, and then cyber attack a reviewer from 2 years ago? Someone can't handle criticism. Just beware people. Report it if someone sends you an inappropriate message after you review something. It's not right and not deserved when all you did was write your own honest opinion about an experience you had. They never cut our dogs facial hair right. It looks like a weed whacker went to his fur. Not worth the $55 they charge me. Paul, who works there is a very rude and condescending Groomer. Lacks everything with retail and customer service. He gives nothing but excused when it comes to our Chopsticks hair cuts. Blaming the dog that he would not hold still or that he was showing stress, might be a sign that you aren't giving good calming vibes towards him. You're the "professional" and should know how to handle a small 20lb dog on a table while cutting his hair. Also, when Paul called us to let us know that Chopstick and our other dog Skunk Dog were done, was unprofessional. "This is Paul from Petsmart. I'm locked into a 1 year contract for my dog and it was the worst mistake ever!! I thought u could cancel at anytime but I pay $50 a month for a year. The people there are rude and I have had felt unwelcomed EVERY time I have ever gone there. Even when they answer the phone the tone of voice is rude and unwelcoming or just sounds so fake. I can't wait for my contract to be up! This is the worst pet service place I have ever gone to. All I can say is don't go and definitely don't sign a contract!! Because then it doesn't matter if you are not happy with their services they will not let u out of it and can be as rude as they want to you! If u could give this place 0 stars I would! read more

The employees were super friendly, my dog's haircut turned out great, and the price was ok. The one thing I didn't like was them questioning me about how I wanted to cut my dog's hair. I know how I get it cut at Petco and didn't appreciate the way they reacted. The majority of the experience was great, just don't doubt my knowledge on my own dog. read more

I purchased the third bad of Authority Dog Food here the other day. This is the third bag/3rd month that our dogs would be eating it. Well the bag we purchased is bad, and it's made both my dogs so sick. They cannot hold anything down. Pet Smart will not exchange or refund my money! I am disappointed in the down sized store. Basic things that I needed for my aquarium were not available. Fish selection was on par for the store size, tanks were clean. There were almost no live plants to pick from. Food selection and chemicals were basic stuff. If you need something aquarium related, go across the street to PetCo or over to the Petsmart in LR. read more
