Prior to a vacation last month I learned my local veterinarian office stopped boarding cats over weekends but I received a recommendation to use Chenal Pet Palace to board one of our cats who is blind & has special dietary needs. Since our cat would likely not work well in a communal environment with other cats, they placed her in a nice room where she could have a space which was comfortable & she would know she was safe. While she was being boarded, I received a call from Chenal Pet Palace that our cat wasn't eating her food & they offered to try other food options which ultimately worked well. I was impressed with the care our cat received & the concern for our pet demonstrated by the staff. I would highly recommend Chenal Pet Palace for boarding a pet. read more

Great place to take your pet for the day or for when you you get out of town! They offer doggie daycare (~$15 per day) which is a great option instead of leaving your pet at home alone for the day. They get plenty of socialization, if you chose, so they'll be as tired as you after your long day at work. The staff is very friendly and will know your pet by name with in a couple of visits! I've been taking my dog to Chenal for about 6 years now and they have been the best thing for him. The staff is amazing and the girl knows my dog even when we have missed a month or 2. I know for a fact that my dog gets to run and play outside in the yard with the fellow dogs because they post videos on Instagram and Facebook. The sisters that run the place are very compassionate people and they will always earn my business. I highly urge you to go check them out. read more

Took my baby here for a few months, thinking my baby was being provided an opportunity to play with other babies during the day. I watched my baby's reaction each time I dropped him off / picked him off for daycare. He began to become very nervous when we pulled in the driveway and sometimes had to be drug inside. I eventually realized my little one was being 'imprisoned' in a room for most of the day, alone, and let out only a few times a day to relieve himself. Also, the front desk "Angry Adam" guy treated me - and my baby - with extreme contempt. Fortunately, we find a much better place where my baby interacts with other little ones all day long. I do NOT recommend this place if you want your little one to have a pleasant daycare experience. read more

I will never use Chenal Pet Palace again. Picked up my 13 lb min pin after a trip and she had multiple cuts and a puncture wound. I realize things can happen with dogs, but the worse was that they never called me to tell me she had been injured and didn't take her to the vet which they were authorized to do. After talking to the staff, I asked for the owner to call me....no call. Just terrible that my dog was injured for 3-4 days and they never let me know. Really - with multiple cuts and a puncture wound.!!! Terrible. read more

Great place! I'm always hesitant to leave my dogs in the care of others, but they always seem to have had a fun stay at Chenal Pet Palace. My dogs love the 'private rooms', and play time outside, not to mention the availability of a doggie door in room. The rooms are decorated to mimic a home environment, and come in a variety of sizes. The staff is courteous, friendly, and inviting. Perks: - Pet parents are allowed to bring any of their pets favorite items from home. Blankets, beds, toys, etc. - Adjoining rooms are available. - You may provide your dogs food from home should you prefer. - Doggie doors Drawbacks: Price. Pet boarding can get somewhat expensive, especially when you have two or more animals. However, a slight discount is offered for extended stays. Thumbs up for Chenal Pet Palace. read more

I WAS taking my dogs to Chenal Pet Palace but no longer. My little dogs came back with fleas. My dogs DO NOT go outside to get fleas. There feet never touch the ground. When I told my groomer about the fleas she just said it that time of year. My dogs have never gotten fleas from any other grooming facility. I found another place that is cheaper and better. read more

Our pup loves going to Chenal Pet Palace for daycare or for a few nights if we have to go out of town. She always wags her tail as she walks down the hall to her room...she knows she has some good playtime coming up soon! We never worry about her while we're away if she's at the Pet Palace. read more

We love Chenal Pet Palace! We have a 2 year old doberman and we live in a condo (probably not the best idea). Snoop requires alot of exercise which we cant always give him so we take him to the Pet Palace 5 days a week. He is treated like he is their own. He comes home everyday completely worn out. I have been to alot of the doggie daycare in town and the Pet Palace is by far the BEST!!! read more

I was nervous to go to this dog daycare after moving away from our last. See our last dog daycare was awesome and I was afraid I'd be incredibly disappointed. I'm happy to say I'm not disappointed at all. My dog's behavior says it all: when we pull into the parking lot she wags her tail and tries to race in the building! My dog is pretty shy with both people and other dogs but she's done well here! The staff obviously matched her with a good play group and patiently carry her around (she refuses to walk on the tile in the lobby). I recommend coming here! The staff are very nice and accommodating-you can drop off or pick up your dog anytime during their daycare hours! read more

They destroyed my golden doodle coat. The lady who groomed my dog did not listen to what we wanted. She Shave him so far down you can almost seen his skin. There is nick in his skin in more than one spot and she said it was his fault. she should not work as a groomer. The front staff and boss were nice and offered us a refund but it does not make up for this botch job they did on my poor baby. He looks anorexic and not like my baby. Even my signifying other is not happy how terrible it is. People look at our dog like he is sick. He was a happy excited dog and now he just looks sad. This employee should be not be allowed to groom golden doodles. read more

I give Chenal Pet Palace 3 Stars because my dog loved it (as she loves anywhere to release energy).. but not 5 stars due to prices. My dog spent the night: she was there less than 24 hours. Total bill? $43. We did not request anything special such as an upgraded room for our dog nor a bath nor grooming. What a money maker that place must be. I can't see how that price is reasonable. The last place we used charged $19 per night, it was just farther away so we wanted to try some place closer. Chenal Pet Palace is not affordable. read more

I called to inquire about pet sitting, which a web search for pet sitting brought them up and the link i clicked on said they did. I called the numbe and inquired of the person who answered the phone simply and politely if the did pet sitting, and i got a quick harsh response in ten years they had never done pet sitting and then was hung up on. I called back and asked the name of the same male voice i had just spoken with and he said he was steve mosley, the owner. He accused me of being rude and that's why he had hung up on me, and all i did was ask if they did pet sitting. If he gets that rude that quickly with an inquiry of services i wish to pay for and a web search says they provide, even if they do not, a simple "we don't do that" would have sufficed, he was vey rude and said he was treating me that way because i was rude, all i did was call and inquire about pet sitting, very politely. I would now NEVER trust my pets with someone who wrote me off so rudely and so quickly for no reason read more
