We can't say enough wonderful things about Chelle and For Social Graces! From the very beginning,…read moreChelle's expert guidance helped us navigate Level One Good Manners training with our dog, Tubbs, and we were so impressed that we immediately renewed our services to continue into Level Two Good Manners. Chelle is the definition of a consummate professional -- knowledgeable, patient, and warm. She shares her expertise in such a nurturing and encouraging way, which makes both the dogs and their humans feel confident and supported. We especially appreciate her positive reinforcement approach, which has not only helped us train Tubbs, but also helped us recognize and "correct" some of our own human habits along the way! As new pet parents navigating adoption, Chelle has been a trusted source of advice and reassurance. Her responsiveness and kindness have meant the world to us, and it's clear she genuinely cares about every dog and family she works with. Beyond training, we plan to be lifelong customers through For Social Graces' boarding, daycare, and grooming services. Tubbs has already enjoyed a brief overnight boarding stay and absolutely loves his daycare visits! Thanks to Chelle's influence, what started as Tubbs' initial apprehension toward car rides has turned into daily excitement -- he knows that car rides often mean getting to see his friends at For Social Graces! While Tubbs has always been a wonderful dog, Chelle and her team have helped his confidence blossom and his manners flourish, strengthening our bond with him in the process. We also really value the small class sizes, which allow for personalized attention and hands-on learning in a calm, friendly environment. Chelle and her team have truly made a lasting difference in our lives. We're so grateful to have found For Social Graces -- and we can't recommend them highly enough! -- Charley, Michael, & Tubbs

I don't even know where to begin in complimenting K-9 Companions!…read more Puppy Jack went off to his boot camp on the way to being my service dog in March 2023. He was a typical, crazy Australian Shepherd puppy and came back a well-adjusted, attentive, obedient, and magnificent adult dog. Imagine sending your messy son who never made his bed, kept his room a mess, and didn't get stuff done. Then imagine having that son home from boot camp with the clean room, tight sheets, and helping around the house. Well, I got the dog version of that when Jack came back. Once I know more specifics about what Jack will need to learn to help with my condition as it progresses, I will get him back to K-9 Companions!

I bought a personal training package from Instinct and the trainer came to my home to train my dog and me. It was such a good decision. Both May and I really liked working with the trainer Lauren S. Her approach and tone were awesome. I knew from the first appointment with her that it was going to be great. I'd been trying to figure out how to get May to sit for weeks. Lauren got her sitting in a session. All in all I think we had 9 sessions with Lauren. In that time we learned a lot and have been applying it. My relationship with my dog is so much better because of Instinct. The thing I will caution people against is having unrealistic expectations of your dog and the trainer. If you go in with the desire to make your dog a unquestioningly obedient robot then you will be disappointed. Just focus on the over all quality and happiness of your dog's life

We were even sent an hour long questionnaire about our dog's history/health/behavior/etc. prior to training. Y'all...they care so much! We have a 1 year old rescue pup who's dog reactive, and we've been pretty much unable to take him on walks or near other dogs at all. Jenna helped us overcome all of this and we could not be more grateful. She coached us on how to slowly warm him up to lots of different scenarios- we even had a playdate with another dog today with no issues! His reactivity will be something we'll continue to work on for months, but I can't tell you how relieved we are to have gained some confidence with it. Jenna really helped put things into perspective and helped us understand how to read our dog and take things at his pace. You really can't rush progress like this, and I love that Instinct doesn't promise "quick, fast, easy results" because those are not effective or even possible. We would absolutely do this again if given the chance, booking with Instinct was a game changer.

Tim keeps you updated with Texts, Pictures and even videos on his website( password protected ). When Tim says the relationship between trainer and dog is the most important part of the training process, he means it. You can see the bond he built with our dog and she trusted him throughout the process. We got to see her after 2 weeks, to help with us missing her. We saw the process and it was amazing. Tim was excellent to work with, he gave us great instructions to take home along with a 3-hour long session when we picked her up, even gives a DAILY TYPED PROGRESS REPORT!. Did not expect that. I cannot recommend Tim enough. Every person I know that has had any sort of dog issue and is looking for a trainer... he is who I recommend. We do still have work to do as owner and dog, but she will learn as we go. It's not just training the dog... but the owners as well. Thank you Tim for the change you have brought to our girl. She is confident happy and a joy to walk, train with. She even listens to our 5 year old son!.

I paid $68 for a brush and bath, added the doodle detangling service for another $35, and then was told nail buffing wasn't included (only clipping), so I had to add a $15 buffing service. Honestly, what's the point of clipping only if you don't smooth the nails? Despite paying extra for detangling, they called me to ask if I was okay with them shaving my dog. That told me they either didn't try to detangle or were rushing to take the quickest route. When I got home, I bought a detangling tool and removed all of my pup's tangles and matting in about 20 minutes. For a total of $118, I expected a lot more effort and care than a phone call asking to shave. It felt like they simply don't care and rush everything, and I won't be bringing my dog back for grooming here. If you have a doodle or a dog with a curly coat, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for groomers who will actually do the detangling you pay for.
