She has not only transformed bad behaviors in my dogs but also taught me how to better communicate and work as a team with my dogs. Dog training is a lot of training the owner as well and Melissa is extremely easy to work with, takes the time to make sure you understand everything she is teaching and uses a variety of methods to train your dog to be the best that they can be! I recommend Melissa to everyone. She even helped out of town family members tremendously over FaceTime training to improve leash/walking skills! We love Melissa and you will too!

Melissa is so down to earth and professional. I am a first time dog owner- kinda insane that I got such a stubborn and smart dog (beagles) but Melissa taught me SO much. For those that know how difficult the puppy stage is- I would have never survived it without her. She was available in between training sessions to help if Eleanor started a new bad habit or started a strange behavior. Anytime I had any questions or concerns- Melissa was always available with advice, links to products that saved my mental health. She is a phenomenal trainer, human being and sooo knowledgeable and experienced! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Long story short we left our family dog there while we went out of town. Upon picking him up he seemed different and completely out of it. He had a sore (abscess) on his gums, one of his eyes was completely covered with eye mucus and hair in his eye that could've been removed, and dry caked on medication in his fur...they could've easily wiped it off. Upon coming home he didn't jump on any of us or even appear to be excited like he usually is. He seemed different and kinda stand offish. He has only been to one other pet resort (in another city) and he stayed there a number of times. While at the other one they sent updates while he was there and he was his normal self once we picked him up. Idk what they have going on at this place but we took our dog to the vet immediately after picking him and have him checked out. Mind you, we have never had to take him to the vet out of concern at the previous place. His bark also changed because he was barking consistently. He usually doesn't bark much unless something or someone is bothering him. He now has a "hoarse" bark that will eventually get better. But it only makes me wonder what he went through being there. It doesn't sound like they actually care for the dogs even though they have "protocols" in place. Crazy....

Then, I had applied to meet her for adoption & met her, & took her home never looking back. This sweet girl had some tough knocks and behavior issues to go along with them. I enrolled her in a 6 week program with Mighty Dog Services. The team was patient and worked with her throughout the training. Her fear of other dogs, barking at people, pulling on leash walking, nervous pacing, separation anxiety all were resolved. She's a a happy camper that knows what I ask her do, she does it and happily takes praise and treats- and lots of love. They helped this dog overcome a rough past so she can trust and enjoy what she has now. She and I both are extremely thankful for the folks at Mighty Dog Services in Portland TN. They work with all breeds, ages and issues. They truly treat each as an individual and unlock all the potential the dog has to offer. As a dog mom- just as a mom of children. I would rather not fuss at my dog for behavior issues- I just want to love and enjoy them. Its possible , I promise give them a call.

From the very beginning,…read moreChelle's expert guidance helped us navigate Level One Good Manners training with our dog, Tubbs, and we were so impressed that we immediately renewed our services to continue into Level Two Good Manners. Chelle is the definition of a consummate professional -- knowledgeable, patient, and warm. She shares her expertise in such a nurturing and encouraging way, which makes both the dogs and their humans feel confident and supported. We especially appreciate her positive reinforcement approach, which has not only helped us train Tubbs, but also helped us recognize and "correct" some of our own human habits along the way! As new pet parents navigating adoption, Chelle has been a trusted source of advice and reassurance. Her responsiveness and kindness have meant the world to us, and it's clear she genuinely cares about every dog and family she works with. Beyond training, we plan to be lifelong customers through For Social Graces' boarding, daycare, and grooming services. Tubbs has already enjoyed a brief overnight boarding stay and absolutely loves his daycare visits! Thanks to Chelle's influence, what started as Tubbs' initial apprehension toward car rides has turned into daily excitement -- he knows that car rides often mean getting to see his friends at For Social Graces! While Tubbs has always been a wonderful dog, Chelle and her team have helped his confidence blossom and his manners flourish, strengthening our bond with him in the process. We also really value the small class sizes, which allow for personalized attention and hands-on learning in a calm, friendly environment. Chelle and her team have truly made a lasting difference in our lives. We're so grateful to have found For Social Graces -- and we can't recommend them highly enough! -- Charley, Michael, & Tubbs

The staff is very friendly and helpful and I can tell they love dogs. I really liked that they communicated via text. They offered to put Jolene into the morning Daycare group every day for only $4 extra. That was well worth it to get Jolene out of her little kennel and give her a chance to stretch her legs and have some fun. I was able to take Jolene out of the kennel and keep her with me for a couple of the days. The staff made the check in and check out process simple. My whole family loved getting the Pawgress reports with pictures and a quick summary of Jolene's activities. PetSuites also offers daily enrichment activities for your dog for a low price. They send a text with a description and price and you can easily OK it for your dog if you want a little something extra. Finally, they appear very clean and safe. We got a quick tour of the kennel and everything was spotless. There is a big window for viewing the daycare dogs when you first walk inside.
