His response was prompt and we met with Arleigh the next day for observation to make a plan for Willow. What you have to take my word for, is that the training you are provided with works if you work it. Arleigh was our primary trainer and go-to for all things training with Willow. Arleigh's expertise, communication, and ability to adjust around what she determined would be beneficial for Willow's progress with areas of concern is above and beyond what I have heard other pet-owners have experienced with other companies. My goal for Willow was to get to a point in her training where she could be outside, with other dogs present, and still enjoy her environment without reacting -what I called aggression, I know now is frustration. With Sheepdog K9 Consulting, I not only received the training I was looking for, I also received the ability to read behaviors, act according to the needs of my dog, and how to build from one skill to the next. While my individual training for Willow is complete now, I look forward to booking her to join in with the class groups. I would 100% recommend this as the only option for training your pup.

Bobcat is extremely scared of dogs and I really appreciated that the cat condos are in a separate area so he doesn't get scared. The staff were amazing and very friendly. I received a few cute update pictures and texts about Bobcat while I was out of town which I loved! Bobcat came home happy and there was no change in his normal behavior. I'm glad I found a place that I can trust with Bobcat. Space is clean, friendly staff, and lots of updates are given. 10/10

Your place is hardly a spa. Despite requesting she not be sprayed, you continually applied cologne after her baths. You're like the McDonalds of dog kennels. I'm 45 years old, lady. Never give advice-- particularly when you're the one who needs it. Perhaps you look into getting help with your own socializing skills.

It is not conducive to providing a good environment for learning! It is just too crowded and allows bigger and more aggressive dogs (yellow bandana doesn't work, this is dependent on pet owners identifying that their dog has aggressive tendencies) How do you teach behavior modification when you are about 2 feet from another pup who is excited or an overly aggressive dog! We paid over $1,200 for a series of lessons and felt like the training was not individualized at all for our high energy pup. Did not like the concept of using a choke collar or electronic monitoring device to control our pup. Incidentally neither worked! Surely as dog trainers you would think you would be able to provide some better techniques rather than punishment type deterrents?? We gave up and went to a personal trainer Terry and in about four weeks he had demonstrated the techniques and was able to show us how to work with our dog and get the desired behavior. He was less expensive and as a plus he came to our home. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Opt for more professional and experienced training in a proper learning environment!

I've been doing 3days a week, for my Whippet/shepard mix Named SaFari....who's a firecracker,,, the first day scott met him he made him heal, Which was incredible..... Secondly, you could see his passion for Dogs, everytime I talk or see him... I definitely recommend him due to his knowledge, honesty and trustworthinesss.... Affordable, and flexible..... My dog now naps for at least 3-4 hours on the days he goes out..

OK, he used a Maltese as a squeaky toy once, he was fully crazy around dogs we met on our walks which were isolated due to his lack of socialization. We thought retriever - ball - retriever - ball - we didn't know he could get along with the other dogs on the block... until we met Scott, the owner of Canine in the City. hallelujah hallelujah. I didn't believe it at first. After only a week of walks with Scott our dog, Mud, greeted other dogs on our walks. I was stunned by his canine to canine friendliness. My surprise turned to amazement one day when I walked Mud to the truck to meet Scott. Scott opened the top gate to the truck and the two cute labs in the bed wagged at Scott and I and when he lowered the tailgate the two cute labs saw Mud and went CRAZY wagging and jumping. Mud bound in the truck and it was like old friends had been reunited... That is what Canine in the City gave us - a nice dog that had no friends and didn't know how to make them turned most popular dog at the park with friends he sits by the door and waits for.

I voiced a concern that this was not a normal reaction for her. I asked if it was possible that someone was mean to her, they absolutely said that wouldn't happen. I gave instructions on how I wanted her groomed, everyone petted her and all seemed well. I picked her up, the groom was not how I wanted, her coat was uneven and choppy. that afternoon into evening she was not her usual happy self. she was sullen and withdrawn. I've had to fix the mess the groomer left. I am very disappointed with Sophie's treatment and will never go back.
